What a terrible place. I was waiting for a friend after I got off my flight and wanted to sit at the bar to grab an appetizer. I had a small carry on with me. The staff said that I had to place the bag at the front area of the place which was out of view. I explained that nines not comfortable doing that and what problem was having my bag with me at the bar (there were around 12 open seats). She said "It's not a debate it's our policy" so told her where she could shove her policy, went across the road to the Grill and Vine and they had no problem with my bag at the bar. Believe the reviews. This place is horrible! I ordered chicken nachos that had cold "less than stadium quality"cheese, sour cream that you could break off in pieces and brownish guacamole. It was gross. For $21!!! I should have sent them back but I was rushing for a flight. My friend had chicken tenders, heavy on the breading. Another friend had a hamburger that looked okay. The fries looked okay. The whole place is kind of dirty. The restaurant looks like you should be able to enter through the doors under their huge sign. No, all those doors are locked. You need to walk into hotel to enter. I saw other people try to enter through front doors and no one even acknowledges your efforts. Do not waste your money here. It makes sense why this place is rated so low. The host was welcoming and told us where to leave our luggage, so we thought it would be a typical friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, the bartender was anything but. We sat for a while, we both understand the new way of life with the QR codes, however, we both knew what we wanted, so we did not open the menu. As I started to speak, she cut me off and just said, "If you want something, you will need to show your ID's" We are in our late 40's, but know the CO law, and everyone gets ID'd regardless of age. We stopped at tivoli tap house when we had a long layover and had a tough experience. In entry the greeter asked us to put our bags behind the desk, but the greeter was also wait staff. I asked if he was taking responsibility for the bags and he replied "no they're not my responsibility." After asking why we need to drop the bags there he said they get in the way but the place was about 10% occupied. So said we need to take them with us and found a spot near the window where they easily fit next to us and out of the way. They don't have a clear entrance so we walked all around the outside trying the 2 doors facing the airport terminal and they were locked. The bartender watched us struggle and did nothing. We found the entrance without seeing any signs of telling us where to go. When we finally got inside we tried to help another patron who was struggling like we had and the bartender yelled at us and said she only had 2 workers. She scolded the other patron for going through the door. Then the bartender (woman) proceeded to scold and reprimand many other patrons loudly and rudely. She has no customer service. The food is mostly burgers and beer. There are a few other choices but they are a tap house. My friend ordered a burger without bread and another ordered the Asian bowl salad. The presentation was lovely. The Asian bowl was colorful and a good mix of Asian items. The server was polite and didn't rush us. I appreciate that. I didn't feel like eating any of the dishes so I skipped and opted to chat with the ladies as they ate. Place has a relaxed vibe and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. After reading so many negatives about this restaurant, I was a little hesitant to try it. The negative reviews are apparently a little dramatic. We enjoyed our meal. The wife with with a cheeseburger and o went with the bratwurst. Service was friendly. The wait time was short. Overall we had a positive experience and wouldn't hesitate to dine here again if we're staying at the Westin. It is a little pricey, but you're at an airport transit hotel, so it's going to be pricey. We stopped in to this restaurant today and last Saturday on our travels in and out of Denver airport. Last Saturday food was good. Beer was good. The loan bartender that was serving the whole restaurant did her best. Today can't say the same, there was one bartender and one server for the whole restaurant and was packed. Food took 15 min to get beer and 45 minutes to for food took come out. Food was not what we ordered, was cold and the burger bun was rock hard. I was really looking forward to going to this Tivoli Tap House as I graduated from MSU where Tivoli is in the heart of our campus... but it pains me to say I am very disappointed. We stopped by and it took them about 5 min to sit us down.. there were only 3 tables busy... when we sat we got asked what we wanted but we asked for time to look at menu then they just never came back.. The food was ok nothing special. I drank all my water pretty early on and then I drank the little water I had left in my backpack, & then I started drinking my partner's water and still never got water from staff at that point we were 1 of 2 tables... just plain oh bad service. During my recent visit to Tivoli Tap House, I witnessed one of the most disturbing displays of unprofessionalism I've seen in a hospitality setting -- and it came from none other than Alex, the General Manager. In full view of patrons, Alex spoke to a waitress in a demeaning, disrespectful, and verbally aggressive manner. His tone was unnecessarily harsh, condescending, and frankly bullying. The employee, who was clearly doing her best under pressure, showed more composure and professionalism than he did. This wasn't constructive criticism. It was humiliation, plain and simple -- loud enough for customers to hear, and uncomfortable enough to ruin the dining atmosphere for everyone around. If this is how Alex manages in public, I can only imagine how staff are treated behind the scenes. No employee should be subjected to that kind of verbal abuse, and no guest should have to witness it. Alex's behavior reflects incredibly poorly on Tivoli Tap House, and if leadership is allowed to behave this way unchecked, it points to a deeper cultural problem. Tivoli Tap House needs to seriously reconsider who they've entrusted with their management. Until this toxic behavior is addressed, I will not be returning -- and I'll be urging others to do the same. read more

The food was sort of OK, but the real problem is this paying and ordering system that they make you do with a QR code. And they set it up so that if you don't log out in time, they automatically charge you a (extra) gratuity. We had to spend almost 25 minutes, trying to sort it out with our server (who was apologetic), and my friend STILL had an extra charge to her account! The system is needlessly complicated and seems designed to get people to pay more in fees. You need to get rid of this, and pay your waitresses more. This is ridiculous!! read more

This place had one redeeming quality, the bartender. They didn't have the first two things that I ordered that were on the menu. Then to make it up for it, he offered me a side salad, which I accepted, it was basically a handful of lettuce with probably 2 tablespoons of diced tomato on top of it. The cook made it look like something by putting it in a small bowl. But then I dumped it out on the plate that they were using as a charger, and it was just ridiculous with a lot of wilted/brown lettuce. After all that, I might've been a little bit more forgiving than I ordered the fish and chips, and when I asked for malt vinegar, they didn't have that either. I mean, what kind of a criminal cook will serve fish and chips without having malt vinegar?! In any case, I felt bad for the bartender, gave him a 25% tip, paid my full bill... The waitress didn't bring me the second beer I ordered and I had to ask for it. She was working the dining area by herself. The breakfast burrito the next morning was filled mostly with potatoes and barely noticeable pieces of brisket among the scrambled eggs. Nothing else inside. They did provide a small side cup of sad looking guacamole and pico de gallo. I didn't eat the guacamole fearing food poisoning. This poor-looking burrito was $18.
