The artwork seemed to have less inventory, but extremely larger art pieces. So many blankets and throws, which was quite surprising as they were tripled in quantity. Horrible Santa Reservation System - Children Left Disappointed…read more I prepaid and made reservations for a 2:30 PM visit with Santa today at Twelve Oaks Mall for my 8-year-old daughter and her friend. When we arrived there were two lines--one for reservations and one for walk-ups--but absolutely no organization whatsoever. No one was actually checking reservation times, so people with later time slots could have easily been standing ahead of us in line for all we know. We stood in the "reservation" line for 25 minutes with zero movement, and when we finally asked, the manager told us they were still on 1:30 PM appointments and were not actually checking appointment times until you got to the front of the line- not sure what good that does. She even admitted things were not set up correctly and things were not running smoothly, but had no explanation as to why no one was checking times when putting people in line. We unfortunately had to leave because we had already waited with no progress and two disappointed little girls who didn't even get to see Santa. And after all that, they told me no refund was possible even though they clearly weren't honoring the reservation time I paid for. Very poor organization, very disappointing for kids, and extremely unprofessional to take payment up front without providing what was purchased. I really hope management sees this, because this was NOT at all the magical Santa experience we paid for. I would absolutely not recommend booking here based on today's experience.

On this huge store there was only one line to get a real person line for ringing up your groceries -:everything else was self check. Contrast this to the smaller Trader Joes with ten person lines. Like Walmart, the deli has only sodium nitrite meat selections that are all classified now as class one carcinogens,! Also, like Walmart there are no reduced fat cheeses in the store. Nutrition researchers now recommend to buy only cheeses with 3% or less saturated fat. . On the breakfast cereal side, about half of their cereals were highly sweetened and none were lines of healthy cereals. The organic fruits and vegetables are way in the back of the store with limited types and high prices. If you go to most of the mainline churches today, you will find mostly gray heads and fewer attendees. They don't keep up with the times . Likewise at Meijer s, most of their customers are gray heads. Young and middle age shoppers have turned to stores like Trader Joes and Costc.o.

The 50% off on special days or weekends plus the reduced pricing for a designated color tag makes it feel like a scavenger hunt when I'm shopping. They also throw additional fun by giving you a bingo card to try to win 50% off. Paris, the cashier, was very pleasant and helpful. I walked away with a bag of great deals. Even if some items don't work out for me, I generally will just pass them on to a family member or friend.
