Always come to this location I can't believe how the lines are so long all the time. I see some stuff at times here but sometimes they don't have much! They have nice costume jewelry and dresses though. The service is decent it's just always busy!! So half the workers are at the registers working. Recieved a phone call from a. Male named JB August 21, 2026 around 6:30 PM. I called back and JB made statements such as "We could have done that for you at that moment" referring to having sold the item at the ticket price. He also made statements such as "we want to provide fair pricing for you and all our member". He repeated that last statement as a response to most of my questions. I informed JB that having honored the tickets price was not a courtesy to be provided but it is the law and JB merely repeated " we want to provide fair pricing for you and all our memebrs." When I asked him if he is aware that it is the law and that the consumer has the right to purchase the item at the advertised price, JB began saying he is not here to discuss the law. When I asked him if he is aware of the law he said "yeah" and repeated "we want to provide fair pricing for you and our memebrs." When he asked if there was anything an associate at that store could do for me I said told him I could not thing of anything but my main concern was that this did not occur again. JB in response repeated the same phrase as before. When I said that now I am far more concerned becuase he won't acknowledge that the law was not followed and especially since this is not the first time similar incidents have occurred at that particular store, and that since he, JB, is playing semantics and repeating the same phrase I am worried and concerned things would not improve at that store becuase a sales associate learns from management and upper management and if he is playing semantics and won't acknowledge what actually occurred it is likely to continue, JB repeated the phrase in response. I said thank you, bye bye and ended the call Suggestion to consumers: consider not filing a complaint with TJX companies because in my experience their tone and words seem to indicate their POV when it comes to consumers is not positive. Consider filing complaints with BBB and the county of LA. They have a department which oversees consumer rights. read more

Granada Hills, CA While waiting for the Post Office to open, I stopped by here to browse. The store is fully stocked, shelves are full and organized (still early that's why). Plenty of clearance rack. I needed some skincare so I focused on the beauty products. Lo and behold they have my moisturizer at a discounted price. Yay!!! I got me a few and some other stuff. I moved to the men's clearance section and found some joggers that are pretty good and affordable. I picked a few and went to line up for the cashier. It's not even close to 11am yet and there was a line. The good part though - 3 or 4 cash registers are open which made the line go down fast. It was a pleasant shopping experience. read more

I like shopping for designer clothes here because the prices are always great, and they have a huge selection, including designer sunglasses and purses. Parking is always full, especially on weekends, but it's worth it for the deals and variety. read more

My wife and I stopped by this TJ Maxx store to return some baby clothes we got. There a lot of parking here and also a lot of cashier. I found a parking spot near the front of the store. When we walked inside, the checkout line was long and the return line is in the same line. This store has a lot of space inside and a lot of products. The prices will vary depending on what you want. We first returned the baby clothes that we didn't need and was given a gift card. My wife decided to shop in the store for some beauty stuff. The customer service we received today was great and we didn't have any issues while shopping at the store. read more

Pleasantly surprised with my experience today, I shopped and found a lot of items that I wasn't looking for or ran out. I found a nice dress, top, Biolage conditioner, skin care, and other goodies. This is a great store with some quality shoes, clothing and housewares. Lots of great purses too. My complaints are the VERY long lines to check out, usually snaking way back into the store and this can be at any time of day or day of the week. I guess having enough checkers is not a priority to them. I have left my purchases behind many a time due to the long wait. The lines here are so bad. There is always a line of more than 30mins wait. At first I thought it was the season but now it's become the norm here. I understand staffing shortage but I think it comes down to management and their lack of organization and managing schedules. read more

Visited TJ Maxx today and I have to say, this TJ Maxx is by far the dirtiest store I have ever been in. I get that staffing might be tight these days, but the level of filth is just unacceptable. There's a terrible smell--like urine--and stains everywhere. I couldn't even stay to shop. Honestly, it's so unprofessional, Walmart looks amazing compared to this place. I usually enjoy shopping at TJ Maxx, but today's experience was frustrating. I went in, picked up a few things, and--as always--ended up buying way more than planned. At checkout, the cashier asked if I'd like to open a TJ Maxx credit card, and I politely declined, letting them know I already had one. Then, a coordinator named Hillary came over, insisting that I open a new card because I wouldn't save money on my purchase otherwise. I explained again that I already had a TJ Maxx card and asked if she could look it up using my information. Instead of helping, she kept pushing me to open a new account, falsely claiming that if I hadn't used my card in a couple of months, it had likely been closed. I told her that didn't sound right and asked her to check. She flat-out refused. So, I quickly looked up TJ Maxx's policy myself--and sure enough, it clearly states that accounts are only closed after a year of inactivity. When I called Hillary back over to show her, she simply walked away without acknowledging it. I get that employees have quotas for credit card sign-ups, but this level of pushiness and misinformation was completely unnecessary. It left such a bad taste that I almost walked out without making my purchase--honestly, I only stayed because I felt bad for the cashier. TJ Maxx, do better. read more

This TJ MAXX branch is located in a large center with free parking. This center is fill of businesses that are busy and in demand. Also, it's located a block away from Granada Hills HS so this center is especially busy. Or.... You could say that this branch couldn't be found in a more convenient location: you can get some errands and shopping done while you wait for your child to come out of school. There is a post office a few doors down. This store has a lot of basics that are not so basic. Example, they have mugs, but they are fancy looking mugs. They have candles, but they look fancy. You get the idea. There are also a ton of gift ideas. There are "tea gift boxes", "coffee gift baskets", "toiletries gift baskets", etc. There is a suuuuuuper long line, but they had a dozen cashiers who work fast, so the line went by fast. read more

I'm giving it 4. It's a TJ Maxx. It's hit and miss with good customer service and I can tell they work to keep/ maintain order as much as possible which is nice. I think most of the cons come from customers who steal products or return used merchandise and it ends up on the shelves. I like finding little treasures or things I would normally not consider getting. read more

I genuinely thought this store couldn't get any worse but I am utterly surprised. Their selection has gotten so much worse, the store is not maintained and very very dirty. A majority of the products are open or in bad condition. The sections are very cluttered and there seems to be significantly less employees actually maintaining the floor. There are a couple more cashiers the last few times I went and the line was shorter, but honestly in my opinion it's because there isn't anything of quality here anymore. Been shopping at this store for as long as I can remember and since Covid it has become impossible. Lines are forever long and sometimes only a few cashiers. It is just crazy busy in here at any time any day. Not sure why, but for the last time I have gone to check out only to leave all my items behind out of frustration waiting in long line. Not returning here again. The wait in line is always 45 mins - 1 hr. Cashiers need to hustle a little more knowing there's a huge line, instead of spending extra time trying to push customers to apply for the credit card. read more

It doesn't matter what time or day you come; the line to check out is always ridiculously long. They have also really gone downhill in certain departments. Although they still have a good variety of clothes and home decor their shoe and purse departments are atrocious. Very low inventory to practically empty shelves. During December the store opens earlier...Approximately 8:15am I tried on a jacket which had a Sensor within the arm area and onto the front zipper area which was very hard to wear and zip up, so I wasn't able to fully try it on properly thus I went to the front to ask an associate who went by the name of Roxana; which said manager on her badge. I asked her if she could remove the inner arm sensor so that I may be able to fully try it on. She said she wasn't suppose to take the sensor off for me to try it and that the sensor was there for customers to be able to still try it on. Yeah, that's the reason why I came to the front Roxana; cause it didn't work when I put my arm in or tried to even zip the jacket. Mind you... this is a $70 jacket, not a name brand or $500+ jacket. Also, it had another sensor on the tag area as well... so, she went and spoke to another associate stating that she was going to take the inner sensor out for me to try it on, but she's the manager... Right? Doing so, Roxana kept saying "are you going to buy it" I'm like let me try to zip up the jacket first and see how it fits. She was very pushy. I felt quite uncomfortable. I asked if I could see myself in a mirror which was very close by and she stated no, she had to put the sensor back on. And she asked again... "are you going to purchase this jacket?" I told her yes, give me the jacket and after she had put the sensor on I left and went into the line to purchase the jacket. I'm a daily customer at this TJ MAXX location in Granada Hills and most to all the associates know me. Sad how paying customers have to feel trying an item they wish to buy. read more

I love this place, don't get me wrong. But the wait times here are absurd when checking out. Don't even try coming here on a weekend or holiday! It's a great store, and stands out from ross, marshalls and so on. The selection is ok, they often have a lot to choose from. We didn't spend a lot of time here during the last visit. We were looking for a place to get out of the heat for a bit and look at what they were featuring. My quick impressions were that the store was clean, and the home decor section was well stocked and organized. Apparently, coral and aqua are the "it" colors right now, as they were well represented. I did browse the women's clothing section quickly, and didn't see any obvious temptations. One thing that made an impression is that they had a lot of electronic accessories for reasonable prices. If you need headphones, cellphone chargers, and other "necessities", you might consider T.J. Maxx as an option. I don't mind the actual location itself, but the lines at this TJ Maxx are absolutely atrocious. It doesn't matter what time of day you come ..there is always a line that wraps around the store. The store is clean, usually unless on the weekend. The assortment is better than some of the other locations. The reason I give a 1-star is this... The rest doesn't matter if you end up in line, for over 45 minutes and it isn't holiday time. Each time I have come in, the line has wrapped through the men's department and towards the back of the store. No social distancing, we're slammed together like sardines. And it takes forever. No item is worth the wait, and I've left my cart there because why wait that long? Please hire more people to work the front or at least create a proper line area. read more

Wow I'm impressed with this store. I've never met such friendly salesperson cashier before. Melanie at Jewelry and Watson at checkout was super friendly and hospitable.
