Another household item for sale...no joke
    Cyn L.

I stop in frequently at this TJ Max. It shares a parking lot with Ralph's and I can do some grocery shopping without moving my car. Finding something to buy is hit or miss, but there can be deals to be found if you get to the store at the right time when merchandise is either brought out or marked down. I found Le Creuset and Staub a few times, but walked out without anything other times. I wouldn't buy cosmetics because of expiration dates though. I haven't had any issues with customer service and find them to be courteous during purchases or returns. It helps to have a receipt within the last 30 days for refunds, or be willing to get store credit for receipts dated older than that.

I called in for the viral aesthetician Halloween decor and they had some in stock. The lady was very helpful and put one on the side for me so that I could go pick it up once I got there. She showed me the Halloween decor section, which was pretty big they had a lot of cool stuff there. She was very helpful and the store was very organized. I'll definitely be coming back to this TJ Maxx again. .

This review is for the amount of stock they have. They have tons of inventory ready to go, organized, and available. Tons of decor, Halloween, beauty products, clothes for the season, etc. The cashier I encountered was very helpful and was polite and patient. He was very friendly.

I couldn't tell you the last time I was at a TJ Maxx even if my life depended on it. Like most people, I fell into the whole ordering everything online. Sure, it is easy, they've even made returns and refunds easy, so that became part of my way of life. And then one day, the need came up: a purchase had to be made on a STAT level and whatever was needed could be found here. And I did. And then some. Their clearance sections are fantastic! Designer brands at discounted prices across the board. I scored lotions, clothing and even accessories at extra bargain buys! I planned on only buying one (maybe two) things. I ended up with maybe 15-20 items? ALL OF THEM: DISCOUNTED - some, up to 90% off. Score. A week later a similar need came up, and yeah... I ended up coming back. I'M. A FAN. TJ Maxx now on my radar!

This tjmaxx is great! The check out line was a bit long so i just looked aroumd a little more and the line was gone in no time!

This location is always well organized. They have the clothing racks spaced out a little better than some others do so it doesn't feel as cramped. They also do a good job of staying on top of things after a busy crowd has passed through wreaking havoc the way bargain shoppers sometimes do. Shop earlier in the day for a more pleasant experience. Great staff. Good parking. Excellent prices.

    Blanket

Manager here was rude and not helpful. When I asked for help on a price she listed the prices as if she knew all of them from the top of her head. Telling me no Ugg blanket is less than $30 and if listed that way someone changed it. They should double check their stuff then because it looks like someone changed the price on all of them and when you go to pay they will charge you more.

Great selection and great pricing compared to full retail. Cash registers move slowly, however.

I cannot get over some of the designer items I have found here at outrageous prices. I feel like I'm a winner every time I come here because I get beautiful pieces as such great prices. THE NOT SO GREAT: Selling. Their process must be working because their inventory is outstanding. But it's not great to sell here. They take little and the money they give you doesn't cover the gas cost to get there. A waste. Bring your stuff across the street to Uptown Cheapskate (who's shopping experience is...gritty, not in a good way) or up to Crossroads Culver City (the best of the best, in my opinion). Pants. How are the pants and denim organized? Un-discernable. Any method other than organizing by size is laughable. I don't even look at pants here ever because who has time to search for the size tags? Request to management: organize by size and watch how much quicker you move pants!

The only option here was cash. This was also the lowest I've ever been offered for clothes. Places like Plato's Closet, Buffalo Exchange, and Uptown Cheapskate give you way more for your items. They had a $1 pile, meaning items they were willing to pay me one dollar for. And then they had a 10‑cent pile, meaning they were willing to pay me ten cents for certain items. Yes, ten cents. For 10/12 pieces, they offered me around $6.30. It was laughable. Actually laughable. So if you're looking to sell your items for dirt cheap, this is the place. On a lighter note, they did have a lot of nice things for sale; secondhand, some new, some designer, really great quality pieces at good prices. I got a really nice pair of green cargo pants for $12. I recommend for shopping NOT selling.

Unfortunately, the checkout experience left me feeling disappointed. A couple prices being adjusted on the spot is understandable, but having tags removed and being quoted significantly higher prices felt uncomfortable and unexpected. One used purse was priced close to (or above) what I could purchase it for new at a regular retail store, and it wasn't a vintage item. It genuinely hurt to leave the items behind because I loved what I found. I just couldn't move forward with pricing that felt inconsistent. I hope the shop can work toward more transparent pricing, as it really is a lovely space with so much potential.
