I went to this salon with very high hopes. I came across their Instagram page & was impressed with their designs. I asked for pink hombre nails & when the time came to apply the pink powder, I noticed that she was using clear powder. She then informed me that they spray paint the pink color. I then asked her if she could instead paint my nails white & spray paint black tips--- she said yes. After she finished putting on the white gel paint, she goes to the paint spray machine, looked at it for several minutes & then said that she needed to clean out the machine. After I asked her to clean it, she then said it was too difficult do. A male worker that spoke English well, then told me that they did not have black paint. He said they only had pink & tan colors for the hombre nails. Again, she had told me it could be done, after I showed her the picture. So I then asked if they could paint marble nails instead & they said it was $10 more dollars. By this point, I'm upset & asked her to just spray paint the pink on my nails. She then prepares the drill in order to take off completely all of the gel nail polish. I told her I didn't have time for this and that I just wanted the clear top coat on so that I could just leave. I feel that there was a language barrier that prevented her from telling me what she could or could not do. The gentleman that spoke English was dismissive & did not attempt to help solve the problem. He instead charged me $37 for the work and at no point did anyone even acknowledge that I was walking away with a nail color I did not want (plain white.) There was no "sorry" or attempt to make up for the confusion. I just took a closer look at my nails & observed how lumpy they look... so the quality is terrible. A older man helped me here and he was very rough. First off he tried to remove my acrylic nails by PULLING THEM OFF WITH ANOTHER NAIL TIP!! I told him that it hurt and I wanted them soaked off. When he was filing off the acrylic he burned me multiple times with the electric bit. He got the over all idea of what design I wanted but it ended up messy. DO NOT VISIT THIS NAIL SHOP! I'm not posting this to bash TJ nails but this was my worst nail shop visit ever. There's a girl there I don't know her name, but she's a Mickey Mouse fan. (She had a Mickey Mouse bracelet, shirt...very petite, with many black earrings) Anyway stay away from her she's so damn rough. I thought she was going to remove my nail from the bed. She burned me with the electric buffer. I pulled away and stated it hurt, & she's replied "too hot" yess b***** what do you think?! She continued snatching, yanking, pulling & almost making my skin bleed. The work done is amazing (reason for 2 stars) but the employees are rude. There was no greeting upon walking in, I basically checked myself in. The woman that did my fill was very rough, painfully rough. & a tip my nails cost $48 for a FILL!!!! surcharge for holographic tips is $21, lol so I guess a gel fill is $27. Ridiculous. Came here for prom nails. All I asked for was french tips with some light glitter, price started at 100. I did not get the woman's name, but she began doing my nails and was friendly at first. she started to do the usual for a full set. when it came time for the glitter, she completely used the wrong glitter. it was a hint of green rather than the original pink i had wanted. I didn't say anything at first because i thought it would change after the after-coat. She finished with my nails, and i had to sit and wait for a pedicure. I realized that i really did not like them, so i decided to just ask for them to re do them. They told me NO EXTRA CHARGE INITIALLY. But when i sat down with the woman who previously did my nails, the friendly manner was gone. she was completely rude throwing her arms up at me huffing and puffing. i apologized for not liking them and she proceeded to say it's my fault i should have told her sooner and now she has to re do everything. mind you the store was completely empty so it's not like i was taking time away from other customers. i offered to pay any difference needed, but she ignored and angrily redid them. she was very rough the second time around, and i apologized several times after. In the end i was charged 120 dollars for plain white french tips and white toes... Honestly was truly a horrible experience and i would never return solely to avoid this woman and the terrible pricing. If you do go, ASK FOR JOHN. is nothing like his colleagues, very nice friendly and fast. John look for a new job, you deserve better your colleagues don't deserve you! read more

My review is for the customer service only. I've been here a few times & they always do a decent job, its up the street from me & I was in need of a pedi so I called & made a 5pm appointment. I got here at 4:55, It's 5:40 & I'm still sitting here waiting. I understand sometimes you have to wait even with an appointment but what makes the waiting that much more frustrating is the customer service. Walked in & wasn't greeted, there was a host at the front desk but she was too busy to even look up. I proceeded to sign in on their tablet & had a seat, 20 min passed & nothing, so I got up & asked the host how much longer it would be.... She looked at at one of the techs & just says "when she's done".... Rude. At this point I've already waited so don't really want to leave. So I sit my happy self down & wait another 20min, then the host starts the water in one of the spa machines & tells me I can sit down. I go to put my feet in & the water is burning hot . Oh & the spa chair massage doesn't work. Any other time I would have left but I love my sandals& my pedi was chipped from being in the pool all week. At 5:50 finally the tech is helping me. Not once did anyone apologize for the wait. I make it a point to respect peoples time & be on time to my appointments, they should do the same. Very rude, I'm not one to bash, but had I not waited so long I wouldn't of had time to write this review, Just saying.... read more

I am really picky when it comes to getting my nails done and I'm so glad I finally found my go to nail salon! They do amazing work here and are very experienced in doing any design. I strongly recommend making an appointment with them ahead of time due to them being extremely popular! This place is ridiculously over priced! I had them put gel on my natural nails and they charged me $50 for it. Although they did do a good job on my nails this should not be the cost of this service. There are so many other places with just as good as service for a much cheaper price. Today I went in for a gel manicure and pedicure which was a horrible experience . The lady doing my pedicure picked me a few times which made me jump because it was so painful. She nipped my toe, filed on my skin, and hurt my toes:skin. Then on top of that she didn't really exfoliate the feet like most places do she quickly went over with the scrubber. Then when i looked at my toes it was so horribly done. Like bumps, clumpy, uneven, not fully polished toe nails. She then went on to someone else. I told the lady who was doing my manicure that I needed someone to fix my toes. She called that lady back who made it worse. Instead of repolishing them she used a nail filer to try to even out the texture. It was so bad, I was so disappointed that I went there. I told the guy who I'm assuming is the manager he then looked at my toes and saw the and job and said he's sorry he'll give me $5 off. I now have to get my manicure and pedicure redone. I'm definitely disappointed and WILL NOT be returning. It's no wonder why it's cash only. They probably don't want people requesting refunds. I was excited to try this place however I won't be going back and I'm a little upset that I spent over $60 mind you I still tipped both ladies. I sat the unventilated room for over an hour. It was very hard to breathe. The guy calls me for me over to do my full set at 5:11pm. He tells me I'm getting a fill because they are closed. I told him, I don't want a fill. Take these nails off and put a new set. First of all, this man at TJ nails had no right to tell me what service I was going to pay for. Secondly my nails have outgrown my current acrylic nails. And third they had me sign at the iPad for the service I had come in for. I double checked to make sure I marked the box for a full set. Came here because of the yelp reviews and, was disappointed .. first off i had a pic of what I wanted on my toe's and the nail tech lady said she could do what I showed her... then this one guy that was like the lead or some type of management also said they can replicate what I showed them...but the nail tech lady did a complete opposite.. Sulli did my nails but I doubt is her greatest work, though it was better than my pedicure.. I got overcharged for the service I received it was a total of 73 dollars but it was a regular gel pedicure which according to their price list was $25... Sulli charged me $43 for my manicure and I did not get acrylics ... will definitely not be going back to this place at all.. I think their expertise is more working with acrylics... read more

Found this place on Yelp after my nail lady was on vacation and I needed a new set for a wedding. Called and made an appointment with Tiffany, she seemed to be the popular nail tech mentioned in reviews. Arrived and waited about 15 minutes, not too bad. Tiffany was very sweet, talkative and listened to what I wanted. I showed her a picture and she gave me suggestions. Really loved the way my nails turned out, she seems to be a perfectionist which is a major plus in my book! I was extremely nervous trying a new place because I had been going to the same salon for years. I am glad I tried it and Tiffany really is the best. I will definitely be back! The only reason I took a star away is because it is not the cleanest place. The floors were filthy. Also no spa pedicure chairs but I didn't get a pedi so doesn't matter anyway. read more

I thought this place was going to be decent according to some of the reviews! But it turned into a nightmare for my daughter. Kevin was her nail tech and he cut her about 5x!!!!!! He took almost 2 hours to do her full set!!! Charged her $80 DOLLARS, FOR WHAT?!!!! She had nothing special done to her nails? The only reason she tried it is because her regular nail shop was too busy to fit her in. This nail shop must've given her a nail guy that was new cuz he seemed like he didn't know what he was doing! Had I stuck around and waited til she was done I would've made sure the owner or manager knew he had done a horrible job on her. She was too shy to say something. She came home in tears upset for the amount she paid for the torture she was put through!! I can't imagine who else he used his file on after causing my daughter to bleed several times and reuse the nail file on someone else being already contaminated. Absolutely unacceptable!!!! We came in they had me waited until my wife was done with her pedicure to do mine. My wife also has an appointment for her nails done but they took in a walk in and let her sit there to wait. Not sure who did my nails, but they did a really bad job. I asked for dip with gel on top and they did do that, but the guy barely shaped and buffed my nails. They are not even at all and very crooked. I got a dark color so you wouldn't be able to tell. The paint is blotchy and has dents. My appointment was at 5 and I waited 30 minutes to be seen. Also not very clean. The man used acetone to remove the dip I had on before by putting it in a plastic bag and put the bag in warm water and when it was done he put the acetone he used on me back into his acetone bottle to reuse. I have been going here for 2 years and every time I've been in the 8 months the service has gotten worse and worse! The quality of nails has gone down and the appointments mean nothing now they have you wait forever past your designated time! Today I called for an appointment at 6 he told me yes come in I was very specific I wanted a pedicure and if he could squeeze me in for nails I would get both! I show up at 5:50 and he tells me to wait in the car and he will call me due to COVID people can't wait inside! I understood that they were busy and so I said yes I'll come back at 8! I waited in the parking lot and went inside at 7:55 just to remind him that I was there and he said your next and so I sat and waited and I was like perfect! I didn't realize that the girl who I was behind just started her pedicure! I waited til 8:40 and they had just finished the other girls pedicure and the boss comes up to me again and says I'm sorry can you go to our LP location at 9 o'clock at night he said that their lady who only does pedicures has to go and no one else can do a pedicure! It was very UNPROFESSIONAL! Especially because I know that three other people that were working there know how to do pedicures !!
