Ok, here it goes: So for the most part I've always liked TJs. I used to live close and be able to just call in an order and walk over to pick it up. The workers were young, but nice enough. The reward system was a real thing. Tonight I ordered delivery. To be fair, they announce on their website that it's pricey (overpriced?) because of the cheese they use. However, the "40 minute" estimate is more like over an hour. My pizza was rather burnt and bland. The delivery girl was rude (snobby?). To top it off, my receipt states I earned 0 points... At 1 point per $10 as the receipt indicates, I should have 2 points from this order. I suppose it doesn't matter because I don't plan to spend more money here in the future. Plus, I have found multiple short black hairs in my pizza. All I'm saying is that they aren't my hairs. Ew! Yet, they didn't mess up the salad so they get a couple stars for that. I'm a sucker for a good salad. Also, their online ordering site is pretty good, so there's that I guess. read more

It was a long day at work and a long drive home in the rain on I-35. I ordered a pizza to split with a co-worker - we were both way past dinner time and starving. I order from TJ's all the time but this time- this time it took over an hour to get here....this was understandable considering the weather but the pizza had lost half its topping in the box. I ran after the driver but he was driving away. I called the store and spoke to Andy ( Anthony) and explained the pizza was missing half its topping and wasn't right. I asked if they could re-deliver. Anthony informed me if I wanted a pizza re-delivered I had to give the one they screwed up back! Why the flip do you want the pizza you screwed up back?!? What are you going to do with it ? Put it back together ? Observe it to see if it changes quantum states? Food regs state you can't do anything with it -so explain to me how the heck it makes any sense ? Flat out poor frickin customer service - there was no apology just a rude ambivalent guy - come to find out he's the MANAGER on duty. Food is alright. Staff was nice. Order wasnt completely correct and they called me asking for comfirmation number on my reciept later in the evening which was odd. Overall it was an ok experience. I think next time i will go somewhere else however. read more

This used to be my favorite pizza place, until recently. They forgot my wings, parmesean and red pepper, the delivery girl went back for wings, got back 20 minutes later, forgot the ranch and the wings were cold. She did not even apologize. read more

We ordered three times over the past week. The first time we called we ordered pizza with a thin crust and it was great. It arrived hot and the delivery person was friendly. We ordered close to closing time. The second time we ordered we got the wings extra crispy half Thai barbecue and half garlic Parmesan. Wings were good but being from Buffalo NY the home of the chicken wing, I would rather go to Wing Stop for my wings. The last time we ordered we ordered two subs; the brisket and the chicken with pesto sauce. We were both sorely disappointed in that we had to search for the meat. For the price charged there should have been at least an entire chicken breast and a good chunk of brisket. Both subs were all bread, sauce and the added veggies. I'll order pizza again when I need one late at night but during normal hours I'll order from Bagheri's. read more

I live with my parents and they have ordered from here before. And usually the food and service are amazing. Tonight, however, was the first time I actually answered the door to collect the order myself. I didn't know entirely what to do as both my parents were busy. When I got the food I signed the receipt and didn't give the girl a tip as it wasn't my money to give but my parents and they did not tell me to give her a tip. When she saw how I didn't give her a tip she cursed at me, called me names and stomped off before I could even explain myself. Normally I love Tj's but I don't know if I want to order from here again because of the horrid service. read more

TJ's is definitely my favorite pizza place in Denton. I'm always down to support a local business. I've always had good interactions with the staff and the owner is there often and seems to really care about the place. I love the Kings Combo pizza, but I hear good things about the ultimate cheese pizza as well. And their wings...I almost love their wings the most. I'm very picky about wings but theirs fall off the bone because they're so tender. They remind me of barbecued wings. They're not your typical buffalo wings in terms of sauce, but they're worth ordering. Yum. read more

I was very pleased when TJ's moved to their new location in Denton - within walking distance from my house! I absolutely LOVE their smoked wings - so much better than fried. I hadn't ordered pizza in a long time, but their King's combo was as good as I remembered it. read more

We have enjoyed the pizza from here when we have ordered it for delivery. It comes fast and is hot and yummy. Lots of good toppings and really pretty cheap, considering the quality. The wings are also super yum. read more

Ive ordered from here a lot and many times ive been let down. Last time was my last straw. I ordered and i received my food almost two hours later...on a wednesday. My wings and lasagna were cold and my lasagna was drenched in oil. I wont order again. read more

The best wings and calzones in town. The wings are HUGE and smoked, and amazing considering the price. Their pizza isn't the greatest considering the price, but the calzones are well worth it. mozzarella sticks are also a must. Go here. read more

TJ's Pizza Wings and things delivers...and that is probably the best thing about it. besides the mediocre food, they often neglect to tell you, on a day where they are busy, if you do not pick up your phone when they call you, they will not even send your order out. ON several occasions, I was not able to pick up the phone when they called me because I was at work and I ordered online. I called them back an hour later, when I should have received my order because they usually take up to an hour; they informed me the restaurant never even sent out my order. I had ordered from TJ's Pizza many times before and never received a call prior to my order arriving. If you call the restaurant with a complaint like mine, they do try to make up for the mistake buy offering points for food. However I am not sure if the points can even be used seeing as I have never been given the option on the phone and online. read more

Ordered one pizza for delivery. I am located 7 minutes from the restaurant and yet it took an 1 and a half to get here. The staff and manager were very rude to me and couldnt even keep their story straight. Didnt even get the order right. read more

They messed up my order and offered a credit for a future purchase, but since I was moving, I told them to just credit my credit card for that portion of the order and to pick up that portion. When the delivery driver (Wendy Roush) came back, she knocked two different times within maybe 5 seconds from the first time that she knocked, like I was taking a long time. I was in my bedroom at my computer waiting for her to come. I went out of my way to call TJ's back and find out when she was coming and I stayed up so that she wouldn't have to wait for me to get out of bed. So, after she knocked the first time, I got up from my computer and started walking into the living room, then she started knocking again, then KICKING my door. When she started kicking my door, I was obviously angry that this employee would do this. So, I called TJ's. She kicked my door for so long that I had enough time to get my cell, call TJ's and let the store employee hear that she was kicking my door. I was maybe 10 feet away from the door and walking away from it when I told him, "That's your employee kicking my door." I had to walk away so that I could hear him because it was so loud. He heard her kicking and said something to the effect of, "Oh, my God." She was kicking so hard that I could see the light shining from outside each time she kicked the door. The door is warped at the bottom now from her kicking it, so I'm filing a police report. To top it off, she was talking to a store employee after I gave the food back to her, and she told him that he better charge me or she was going to mark my account. She acted as if she did nothing wrong and as if I would actually ever eat there again. Psycho. read more

the pizza is not bad - not great, but not bad. the delivery is INSANELY slow, the phone "experience" is --- well, it's pathetic. if the pizza were actually delicious (it's not) then i wouldn't care so much about the phone service, but honestly, this liberal is thinking about going over to lil ceasar's - because this pizza is just barely above frozen pizza (which luckily arrives on time an no ugly dude expecting tips) read more
