Debbie almost always squeezes me in there are time when I call around 5-6 and she can't get me in please understand if it's a slow day for her she's going to call it a day a little earlier then usual. We showed her a picture of the hairstyle he wanted and let's just say we were happy with the result. $17 includes cut, wash, and style. The only thing is that she's kind of rough when styling. My hair hasn't been touched for almost a year and I've been meaning to chop off all my bronzed and dead part of my hair. I yelped around hair salon in the area and I found this hidden gem in Rowland Heights! It's located in a "Dolphin Bay plaza" (even it's gone now..boohoo) and attached right next to the bakery shop in the corner. First impression may not wow you but I really liked the service and the price. Tina is Korean born Chinese living in the US who speaks Korean, Chinese, and English so you can communicate with her at your own convenience :) I showed her a picture of what I wanted- a short bob- and here is a picture of the result and I like it a lot. I know it's probably a simple cut compared to other requests, but all it matters is that I'm satisfied with it! As mentioned in the beginning, yes, it's a $20 hair cut. I washed my hair prior to the cut and she didn't charge an extra $5 for the wash. I will see Tina again soon :)

The lady won't talk much to you so don't expect a long conversation but she will pay real good attention to every detail when it comes to cutting hair whether it's a treatment, haircut, hair dye, perm whatever it is she is professional at what she does. She also gives her advice first of what can be done to your hair, but also listens back at what you also want. I washed my own hair before going, and basically went to get my old curls and frizz out from my hair straightened. Had a bit of a hair cut just to get rid of split ends but total cost me $45 for everything and that includes a treatment too and tip. I was so impressed, not only was that a bargain but my hair has been straight for the whole week now and I wash my hair everyday. I spent 3hrs there because I really had some curls and frizz that I needed to get rid of - last minute appointment over the phone and she accommodated me at the same time. Maybe because their marque sign says "Style Shop" - I don't know! I've just never noticed them! So, I've been way past needing a haircut for two months, and I wanted to get one in before CNY... wife's orders. I search up barber shops still open at 6pm, and Caesar's pops up. I call, and she says to come on down. I'm not adverse to a bad haircut, as my hair grows fast. But, when you get a flattop, it's baseball cap city for then few weeks when it goes wrong. (I'm looking at you, Sport Clips!) SHE CUT MY HAIR PERFECTLY!!! All I had to do was choose my side razor # and she Edward Scissorhands me like no tomorrow. I wasn't feeling the height after the first pass, which pisses off most barbers because they literally have to re-cut your hair to keep the proportions. She commented before I did! She says, it needs to be shorter, are you OK with that. I'm like yes ma'am - take my money! I am happy to announce that I am now in a long-term relationship with this barber shop. There was no one in the shop when we arrived so my son was able to get a chair right away. Ernesto was the barber who worked on my son's hair. My son had no idea what he wanted to do to his hair but knew he wanted to grow it out and just clean up the sides. We showed Ernesto a picture of my son's hair before his summer buzz cut (the style he wants to get back to), and Ernesto understood the goal and communicated what he was going to do before he started cutting. He made sure to not touch the top to keep it long and just fade the sides and back. End result looked great! I liked that Ernesto didn't rush and spent time on making sure my son's hair was even. Cash only, walk-in only (no appointments). Parking can be difficult as the lot is small with limited spots. Highly recommend!

My scalp was left sore and burned from the toner, and it still smelled of bleach even after being washed out. Despite a supposed hair treatment being applied, my hair remained dry, brittle, and visibly damaged. The results were nowhere near the reference photos I provided and what specifically I wanted for each photo. She disregarded my questions of communication to make sure we were on the same page. Because I prefaced that I did not want my hair completely blonde and suggested we did partial balayage because that what i previously had. She shrugged me off with a comment as laughed saying "Oh its okay, your just confused because you don't know hair." My hair is basically 20 different shades of blonde, bronde, and brown, with peaking streaks of my natural dark brown hair. The overall experience was unprofessional and careless which I was still charged with the initial price of $180 even after all these inconveniences. I would not recommend Isabel or this salon to anyone. This place deserves NEGATIVE stars because if I could I would. I walked out worse than I came in and my hair will take months to recover as it was so fried and loss soooo much hair. Steer clear of this place horrendous job and service unless you want your hair botched.
