Came here on a whim while getting my car serviced and wow, so glad I did. We ordered the chicken salad, chicken and beef plate, and Yamas fries with beef teriyaki. That was seriously some of the best teriyaki I've had in a while and the fries were insanely good. They didn't skimp on the meat or cheese on the fries. Please open up a Yamas in the SGV!!!

For it being in a small corner the portions are definitely small and the price for what you pay is awesome! The chicken and beef plate was perfect. It was so much food that I can safely half for now and half for later. Taste wise, it's freshly cooked and hot. This place is one of those places that will have me coming back for sure! The cashiers service was very kind, delightful and she answered all my questions I had. Before you go just know parking may be a little small since everyone goes there for Starbucks on that lot.

Highly recommend! The teriyaki chicken is so delicious I will definitely get a bowl next time but I could not resist the fries I've been seeing on social media. The hype is well deserved. The spicy pork yamas fries was 20 bucks and took about 10 minutes for them to make. Plenty of seating and parking. Overall I would pick the spicy pork yamas fries and order a teriyaki chicken bowl next time! Kind worker and very relaxing vibe with low level music playing. There is a reason why I saw so many people coming and going. They got some loyal customers for good reason- come check them out!

    Chicken veggie plate

Legit one of the best chicken teriyaki plates I've ever had. The chicken was moist and just slightly charred on the outside, the portion size is generous, and the veggies are freshly steamed. I'm so glad I ate it at the restaurant as well, it would not be the same if it sat around on my way home. People who live here already know this place but if you're in the area and need some teriyaki, you have to stop by.

This place is a solid option if you're craving teriyaki :) I work in Westminster now and this place is being raved by police officers and government personnel so it must be that good. The place is an ordinary teriyaki joint and has a very clean ambiance. I assumed it's a mom and pops store based on the friendliness that they have. Nothing too fancy and simple :) I ordered their half chicken and beef plate which has beef and chicken with rice and salad. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The meat is sorta dry but the teriyaki sauce really helps the texture. Overall, not bad I'll go here again whenever I crave for some teriyaki :)

Good place. The prices on Yelp are very outdated. I took the liberty of taking pictures and adding so everyone is aware of the pricing. Good is good! I will be going back.

No onions but my daughter has to give me onions from her food because I was upset

I asked extra onions and both plates nothing. I have gone here several times and never disappointed and today no onions. Please maybe show the order to the customer to make sure no errors. My daughter added a bit of her onions they added on her at least.

*** $10 minimum to use credit cards or debit cards *** Yamas Teriyaki is known for its homemade teriyaki sauce and has been serving the local community for over a decade. The flagship location is in Huntington Beach with a second location in Westminster. [Parking]: Plenty of parking spots available - I always find a spot whenever I come here at 7 PM. [Menu]: Pretty straightforward menu featuring bowls and plates with chicken or beef. They also offer California rolls and crunch rolls. Lunch specials are served from 11 AM to 3 PM. *** Chicken bowl (small $9.59): The chicken was grilled nicely, but the bowl had slightly more rice than I would like and the bowl was not the best bang for the buck. (3/5) Chicken veggie (small $10.99): The plate was slightly larger portion than bowl and the plate also included fresh vegetables. This plate was a much better option than the chicken bowl. It was worth an addition $1.50 price difference. *** A solid 3.5-star on food & I would recommend chicken veggie plate over chicken bowl for the best experience. As long as you avoid ordering the small teriyaki bowl, most of the other main menu items exceed the $10 credit/debit card minimum.

Okay don't hate me, but the Chicken Yamas Fries were alright! Much of the flavor is from the protein-teriyaki chicken. I didn't really get any flavor from the sauce they used. I will say the portion is good for 2 people.

This place is an institution- I've been coming here since my brother used to get us their food after a long day at school. The quality of food is still great as it was back then, and the smoky flavor of the chicken and beef gets you salivating for more! The ambiance hasn't changed in a while, but they have kept their warm, traditional look for over a decade! Don't need to fix what ain't broke! Food always comes out quick, I generally call in beforehand and they have everything ready in 5-10 for pickup :)

It was our first time here and she (the owner I think) gave us complimentary drinks and was so attentive throughout our time eating the meal! She was so nice and considerate. I would've gone back just for the food, but the service gave me even more reason to come back. The food was very good. The fries were very crunchy and crispy, despite it being loaded with sauce and meat. The beef bowl to the right was also good since the meat had so much flavor.

Local spot Yamas Teriyaki is a clean, welcoming place with super friendly staff. There are tons of great food options, plus a couple of sushi choices as well. We ordered some California rolls, chicken and beef plate, and the chicken and beef veggie plate, and everything was fresh and satisfying. The real star of the show is the Yamas Fries. They take a little time to come out, but they are 100 percent worth the wait. Seriously addictive and the main reason I keep coming back. I love supporting places like this. There may be other similar spots around, but none of them hit quite like Yamas Teriyaki.

The owner and the workers are extremely nice, i found this spot on ig, I order two items plate and yamas fries with pork, the food is extremely good and cook well. The owner is a sweetheart, her smile is what made this review special. Please check them out!

Our waitress was always there when we needed her and would check up on us consistently! The place is very spacious, music was lively, and overall great atmosphere. The yuzu and lemonade didn't overpower each other, and a nice touch of the mint leaf! Kei Coconut Ube had a nice taste to it. The sweetness was nice, super purple in color, and worth trying at least once. Drink definitely does not look or taste like a beer so think of it as a sparkling Ube drink when you try it. Beef Tongue appetizer was very tasty and the appearance was pretty. The sauce was very delicious with a hint of citrus. Beef Bowl Udon was delicious as well. The udon noodles are in the middle of the thickness level. Broth was nice and refreshing, and the beef belly was super soft and tasted amazing. Seafood Tom Kha Ramen was really good. Seafood in it were shrimps, scallops, and squid/calamari. Not too spicy, but had a nice kick to it. Veggies were nice and mixed well with the seafood ramen!
