Yesterday I purchased a Thai fried rice meal with both shrimp and scallops. Everything in the meal was brown, brown broccoli, cabbage, onions, carrots ,shrimp, scallops and of course the rice. The meal looked disgusting and tasted worse. The egg rolls were so hard, empty and without taste. This was supposed to be a celebration of my 75th birthday, what a way to celebrate. White this is not my favorite Thai restaurant I have had good meals there in the past, however now I would not recommend this place to a family of COCKROACHES! We had our food delivered so I cant speak on ambience, but the service was impeccable in that our order was packed accurately and carefully. My pad thai was fantastic and included all the extras (even ordered hot it was a bit on the sweet side, but im not complaining. Ive been eating shrimp and chicken pad thai for three days! Lots of meat throughout, not sparse at all. My partner loved the smoky flavor of the basil fried rice and im excited to try the crawdad style next. Love me some bayou fusion. The tofu tod was great too. Id prefer an Apple vinaigrette with crushed peanut's for it like bangkok on the west side, but the plum sauce was very good and pretty regular offering around here. This restaurant is a unique Thai restaurant with a menu that includes a variety of options not traditionally found at Thai restaurants. The service on my first visit was pretty responsive and friendly. My dining companion and I ordered the basil fish and curry fish dishes. My fish was extremely undercooked. However, when I brought it to the restaurant's attention they quickly fixed it by making a new order and ensuring that we had fresh rice. They were extremely apologetic. I would give the dish 5 I would say they have a bit of a storage (to go containers and some large air contraption) situation going on in the dining room which takes a little away from the ambiance. But if the storage space was cleaned up it would be a simple but pleasant dining room. I've since stopped in for takeout on one occasion and the person working the front counter was not reflective of the prior level of service that I received and in fact was fairly rude. The kitchen was backed up and my order was not ready when I arrived. I asked how long before it would be ready and I went back outside to wait in my car. I came back in 15 minutes later and the blond haired man working the counter seemed to have even forgotten that I was just in the restaurant 15 minutes prior and asked me aggressively "what do you need" as if I was bothering him. My food was sitting right on the counter so it wasn't an issue of me coming back too soon. Overall, worth trying. I did enjoy the dining in experience much more. read more

Great food and service! Cool Thai restaurant that's been around for a while. Decided to try them again and was pleasantly surprised at how much was gluten free and I could eat. Best restaurant for take out and casual group meals, the Bang bang chicken has gave me cravings for dinner because of its perfect tangy and sweet combo and the massamon curry is immaculate to its potatoes all the way to it's chicken and sauce. The waiters and other staff are so nice and are willing to customize whatever dish to whatever spice level you want it at. If you want the best experience it is best not to order fish (many negareviews have been written about their fish) and stick to other dishes like noodles, curry, and chicken. What makes it better is that it isn't so fancy that you have to dress up for it but still fancy enough to make you appreciate the work put into the restaurant. I've had a few dishes here now and they've all been very delicious. The sesame chicken, the pad Thai, the sweet and sour, and the Panang. The Panang has been my favorite so far and I've had it twice. The flavor of the vegetables and coconut curry is a perfect combination on my tastebuds. I love the way the potatoes are prepared and paired with the peppers. The service has been prompt and professional, both dining in and taking out. The dine in experience was pleasant because although there were people around us the booth offered a buffer against other conversing customers and was comfortable. The decor was well appointed and the music felt authentic. Everyone is friendly and engaged in great customer service. I experienced this over the phone then in person with the hostess, the wait staff, and the kitchen. I'm bummed that I didn't discover this place sooner but now that I have it will be a regular go to and I highly recommend them. read more

I ordered carry out from TN Thai Bistro recently, and have also dined in on multiple occasions. I really like this restaurant. It's located in the Village, and has a cute dining room and some outside tables as well. They have a large menu of Thai food and also serve sushi. Most recently, I ordered the crispy roll and shrimp voon sen. The crispy roll was delicious and the sauce they serve with it is the best. I wish I could figure out how they make that. The voon sen was also delicious - the shrimp were nice and plump, the snow peas were still a little crunchy, and the sauce was really good. I will definitely return to TN Thai Bistro. read more

I have been here quite a few times since my last review. I didn't want to go back initially, but it was convenient. I'm glad I did. The past few times, the food has been great. I always get the drunken noodles- plenty of veggies and chicken. Spring rolls are good too. The crab wontons and hot and sour soup are pretty bland, so personally I'll skip those next time. Only thing is they could improve on is consistency. Sometimes the meals are dryer without enough sauce, and the spice level varies depending on the day. I get mild which usually still has some heat to it, but the last time it did not. I got chili paste on the side so I added a little of that for some kick. Overall, good place to get takeout. But call ahead because the hours have changed recently and they are closed Sundays (posted on doors, but was inaccurate on their website last I checked). read more

I ordered carryout on a Saturday night. We're regulars and overall, the food rarely disappoints. The service and packaging disappoints. The sushi rolls (different orders) came smooshed together in the same container, making both less enjoyable and harder to eat. The Pad Pak entree came without rice, so that was sad. Lastly, there's no clarity on restaurant hours- the paper menu, the online information, and the person answering the phone all conflict with each other. My dish was delicious except they forgot the main ingredient - tofu. The flavor was perfect. The clerks were really nice except they did not turn away the customer that forgot her mask. She took forever to take our order and the restaurant was not busy. My husband ordered beer and she forgot. She threw a cup of soup in front of us. This used to be a very nice restaurant with good Thai food and sushi. Then they sold the restaurant. The service appears to have left with the Thai personnel. We were seated at about 7:30. The only people without food in front of us. And it was as if we were invisible. The wait staff walked past us. The cashier guy (manager?) walked past us. When I complained, that person disappeared.
