I used to love this place. From the waitresses growing up. Ive been coming here since i was 21. But for some reason everytime we get the older waitress we get hurried to order. We order and takes a while to get our food. Last time my wife,kids and I went there. I ordered the hungry man meal which i tear through everytime. But when it came out, sausages were burnt,so was the hash browns. My food would get progressively worse everytime we came. I think its time I find a better breakfast place. This will be our last resort place from now on. I thank this place for all the memories. I dont expect everything to be picture perfect but at least come by after 5 or so minutes and see if we needed a refill it would take 10+ minutes or more to get help. This place is at the top of my list for breakfast diners. The service is amazing, the food is always top notch and the place is remarkably clean. My go to dish is bacon and eggs. I have been to more than a few breakfast diners and most of the time, when I order eggs over medium, they still come out barely over easy, still runny whites. TnT's has ALWAYS cooked my eggs perfect. Along with the delicious sausage gravy, and huge amounts of hash-browns, the price here is the cheapest in town. TnT's is a definite must go if you are feeling like breakfast. Walked in to give my name table for 5 had mentioned to the girls at the counter that my sister was in a wheelchair she replies with what's going to be a while so I asked how long is a while she said well it's going to be a while still didn't give me a specific time so then I asked her can you give me approximately how long she said what's going to be a while if you want to wait or not it's up to you with major attitude!!! First off they have a "B". Usually I wouldn't try my luck at "B" restaurants, but I did and I instantly regretted it! My husband ordered coffee and when they refilled his coffee there was MOLD in it! My thanks to Garett A. for being one brave S.O.B and bucking the norm by disregarding a nearby Marie Calendars and finding this breakfast pleasure dome in the urban sprawl of Hesperia on the cusp of the Mojave. Upon his return he talked of this Mecca of greasy spoons and told tales of an Excalibur made of gravy and bottom round beef. I got down on my knees and swore an oath that when I traveled southbound towards the land of my birth....I would stop and see if I was worthy of eating pan fried gold. An so it was.....fate would find me barreling down the 15 with a heavy heart and a wanting stomach. Fate would again bless as we scored a parking a parking spot in front of this temple of breaded cutlet. We the weary travelers were immediately greeted and shown our thrown. I knew immediately without ever seeing the almighty breakfast scroll of goodness, that I would order nothing but the pounded beef steak smothered in creamy gravy. Without hast it was brought to table and I marveled at the Southern recipe I was destined to devour. The wait staff was attentive and kind. Chicken Fried Steak porn at it's finest. At one point I even welded my mighty spoon, and sliced through this Wiener Schnitze wannabe with the utmost of ease. So good was this wonderland of breaking the fast, we left the birth place of California early and hit it again on our way back to "The Valley." I do proclaim from this day forward, to stop either from or to this away..to stop at this shrine of the first meal of the day and pay homage to the TNT Cafe! read more

Had it not been for the Marie Callendar's across the street choosing not to open until 9:00AM on a Sunday, I probably never would have visited this place. I have driven past it dozens of times during trips up and down Interstate 15 and have stopped at establishments all around it, but didn't even know it was there. Met family at MC's for breakfast at 8:00AM, only to discover they don't open until 9:00AM on Sundays. Maybe it was Devine intervention because TNT was absolutely heaven sent. Hands down, THEE BEST chicken fried steak I have ever tasted. It was hot, fresh and HUGE! The breading was perfect and the meat was so tender there was no need for a knife. It was topped with delicious country gravy and served with choice of potatoes and bread or a pancake. The staff was "small town friendly" and kept the coffee cups full. The portions are so generous, they even have a breakfast for the hungry that features a full pound of hash browns. We ordered quick enough, but the food took a while. However, the quality and quantity outweighed the wait. If you are traveling through Victorville, TNT's is a must see. read more

I am not sure about all of the positive reviews about this place, they were very misleading. We stopped were after using yelp for a good place for breakfast and most of the reviews were positive, but our experience was less than positive. The food was cold when they brought out the food the grease had hardened on the bacon. ...it smelled so bad I couldn't control my gag reflexes. This place is really a wonderful throwback to the days of Mom and Pop businesses in the High Desert Area. Unfortunately now without the backing of a giant corporation these family operated places tend not to survive their first year. So if you're tired of the chain restaurants that litter the landscape now, check this place out. Be sure to come hungry though. The portions are ginormous! This is a down home breakfast place if there ever was one. Don't even think of passing on the biscuits and gravy, you'll only regret it when someone else in your party orders it. Just came there from breakfast and had horrible experience there was only one waitress and the whole time we were waiting to order, the waitress was taking to long getting others customer orders cause she was too busy flirting and talking about nonsense, knowing theres other customers waiting to order. On top of that some of the food we order were cold like they just dump it on the plate not even caring if its cold. Also are coffee was cold instead of hot. Never will I ever go there again, I've been going there in the past and I never had a bad experience until today. read more

Thank goodness I talked my daughter out of IHOP! Delicious breakfast foods with generous portions. Super reasonable prices. Even the kids portions were huge. There was barely enough room on the table for everything. We all left stuffed including me and I didn't even order anything! Disregard the "B" Rating in the window, once you walk inside you'll realize this is an old place that has been focused on making good food and keeping afloat. Support your local businesses rather than those chain restaurants! It's a small place that caters to locals and breakfast clientele. We went for lunch, hands down try the roast beef dip, it's a huge monstrosity with a HUGE pile of beef on a hefty 12" wonderfully soft roll that you can dip into a vat of delicious au jus. Plus they have the infamous Crispy Cut Fries that we all love so much. Dig in and you'll not be disappointed. read more

I have ate here twice in the last two years with the Eagle Rock Sportsman Club on our way to target shooting, its a great place for breakfast. The menu is huge and its hard to decide what to order but the chicken fried steak is the bomb, as well as the skillet dishes. I'm bringing my wife for lunch, maybe dinner. You will be pleased with the service too! Coffee never gets cold. If you order a side of bacon they ask if you want two slices or six, what happened to 3 4 or 5? who cares it's bacon!!! Food is reliably flavorful and robust; this is my father-in-law's favorite diner, and it's for good reason. It doesn't look, feel, or taste like a typical greasy spoon, and the open & small layout makes you feel secure (small enough to see everything, large enough to not feel scrutinized). On a more quotidian note, Hungry Man breakfast is great bang for your buck, wife & I shared it & couldn't finish it. Highly recommended! read more
