chicken fried steak that lasted me 3 days

A local had recommended this place to us and omg it did not disappoint. Im afraid if too many ppl start coming here, this spot will be ruined. I love the vibe, its chill, casual and very much a homey. The servers are all so kind, lots of women working in this establishment and I love that. They all seem happy to work there. Food is delicious and portions are huge, pricing is very reasonable. I have tried different things on the menu and everything has been delicious. One of the problems can be the parking, but you can park behind popeyes and in the dirt lot next to popeyes. Place is only open until 2:30pm, so if you want to catch some good breakfast or lunch definitely stop by. Another problem... Not recommended for parties larger than 5-6, booths are old school and small. They have two corner booths that can seat 5-6 ppl but I would not recommend going here if you are a huge party.

Tried this place for the first time this past weekend and it was very good! We got seated quickly, and the service was quick as well. The food portions are big and they are tasty!! The restaurant got very busy as we were seated, thankfully there's enough space for everyone and they have waiting bench's outside.

My husband and I stopped at this restaurant on the way to Las Vegas. We shared the corned beef hash and eggs. It was absolutely delicious! The hash browns were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and buttery inside. The salsa was homemade and amazing. Our server was Amanda. She was so friendly and efficient. We had a fantastic breakfast and would definitely stop here again if we are in the area.

May I leave 10 out of 5 stars? This place is a hidden gem. It is close to the freeway. If you are travelling through, you need to stop. Food and service were outstanding. Small neighborhood feeling. Place was packed but people came and went. Came back a week later. Place was busy but still held to my earlier review. Added the French toast special and was not disappointed.

I can't believe my last review was over 8 years ago! We definitely don't come here as often as I'd like. You can't help but admire the consistency with this place though, the food is the same, always the same level of amazing flavor no matter how much time has passed. The other thing thats the same is getting my order wrong, although this time the waitress caught it as she came to our table and immediately took it back. The service is amazing, staff is absolutely the best! I can't say enough about the level of care each time. It's a bit loud, worn down, and the seats could use some love but the tables aren't sticky and even if they were, it's absolutely worth it.

Came here on a Wednesday morning and was surprised to say it was pretty busy, despite that we were sat immediately. We ordered a couple things including coffee, which was topped off pretty frequently. The chili cheese fries were good, the French toast was very tasty not too sweet or eggy, the chicken sandwich was amazingggg. We also got a club sandwich or the "club stack" to go and ate it later in the day cold and it was still very gooooood. Our server was lovely, she was very attentive. Also the bathroom was very clean! Overall very satisfied.

If you want delicious food for a good price then come to TNT! The portions are so big I often share or bring the rest home. The staff is wonderful and automatically know to give me a side of their epic brown gravy, no matter what I order! I come to TNT all the time and am never disappointed. I even got my family from back East hooked on this place and their jealous every time I go! Only thing I want changed is the times that this place is open! You have at least eight customers for life with my family!!! read more

Went in this morning for breakfast with my husband... They were completely short handed and it was VERY packed. They had awesome service, but we did wait quite a bit for our food and for our order to be taken. The food was good, not great... Portions are huge though! I want to try some other dishes and lunch before I totally write them off! To me, service over rules how good/bad the food is... So we will give them another chance because the service was great! read more

Boyfriend and I who are not big eaters, by the way,ordered a skillet breakfast to share. It had ham, scrambled eggs and potatoes with sourdough toast and we got a side of bacon it was plenty for two people. It came to under $20 with two coffees, and was awesome. The food was flavorful the service was good I would recommend this place to anyone and we will be back. read more

What a blessing, I've lived in the desert for over 10 years and this was my first time eating here. The parking is very scarce and the waits a little long but the portion size definitely makes up for everything. I got the hungry man and my jaw dropped at the amount of food I received, trust me, as a big boy I can put it down but I couldn't even finish the plate. I will definitely be coming back. read more

We look forward to having breakfast chicken fried steak and eggs is delicious gravy super yummy and you can't get a better fresh fruit plate. Great stop on your way to Las Vegas The portions are huge so we split one chicken fried steak and eggs with country potatoes and if you're up to a hearty breakfast it's still plenty to eat!! read more

Biscuits and gravy are very respectable - the gravy is smooth, silky and just the right consistency. Eggs and sausage were cooked perfectly and the pancakes were perfectly fluffy and scrumptious! I only have four stars because the peach topping on the "peachy pancakes" tasted as though they used canned peaches and the glaze was too thick and did not taste very good. However, that was the only downgrade. Wait staff was very friendly and food came out quickly. I would give 4.5 stars if that were an option. A very good breakfast for lunch!!! read more

The atmosphere at TNT Cafe is great the the servers Kaylee Terry sky and the rest of the staff are phenomenal the chefs are excellent Cooks the serving portions are huge the food is delicious and it's never comes out warm it's always hot they never leave your cups of coffee half full or warm they always feel them up on a continuous basis , I I will recommend TNT's Cafe, for family friends , just to sit down and catch up in a warm peaceful atmosphere , or to go and a family meal breakfast or lunch they are one of my favorites. read more

What can I say other than simply amazing!!! This place has the best and some of the biggest breakfasts I have ever had. I ordered an egg white omelet and a side of fruit and I still could not finish the whole thing. You definitely get more than your money's worth here! read more

More small-town diner than cafe, TNT's is fantastic (no, I'm not going to take advantage of the obvious pun here). I ordered the french toast with strawberries, and was delighted to find fresh strawberries instead of the bottled compote usually seen in diners. In addition to this, they were quick to take my family's dietary restrictions into consideration, and worked around them in several ways - offering alternatives for no extra charge, recommending meals, and so forth. It's definitely worth coming back here for the next family get-together. read more

I had to try this place and find out why my inlaws from Michigan always eat here when they visit us. First, they give you nice sized portions. Second, the food was hot and tasty. And lastly. They made sure to keep my dads coffee cup full. I'll eat here again for sure!! read more

Tnt's is the BEST place for breakfast in the High Desert. My husband and I try to go during the week though because they are very, very busy on the weekends. However, we went on a Sunday once about an hour before closing and were able to get a table just fine. I really haven't had anything bad here. I do usually get breakfast but lunch is good too. The only thing that I've found is on the weekends the food is fine, but will sometimes sit on the counter too long before being served. It's pretty rare that we are offerred salsa without asking. Other than that no complaints it's just a nice, clean, little cafe. Perfect! read more

The Husband n I took a walk from a tire shop to TNT and ate here for the very first time in the 13 years of our high desert living. It was quite good! The price was not bad and the food was great. The service was tip top and it has a"Cheers- everybody knows your name" atmosphere there. We enjoyed the food over. No pics since it seems they have plenty up already! I had the French toast with eggs and bacon. My husband had the eggs, hashbrowns, and biscuits with gravy. The coffee was good as well. We would come again if passing by. read more

So let me start by saying this is one of the most amazing places I have ever been. My family and I come here every weekend for breakfast and had never been disappointed until last week. We decided since we had a day off during the week why not go to breakfast at our favorite spot. Wrong idea! We got a server named Terri who was the absolute worst. She was so rude and extremely slow. She came to our table with an attitude and asked if anyone got us drinks yet. We said no not yet and she got all upset and left. She went to tell the other girls they needed to get our drinks and it took another 10 minutes cause they were all busy (which we were ok with). What bothered us was she was our server and she was at our table... why not take our drink order yourself? No instead she completely ignored us until someone else did her job for her. She was giving those girls attitude the whole time. Like I said we come every weekend and have NEVER had a problem till we came in the middle of the week. Every on the weekends helps everyone out. I will still give it 5 stars but only because the weekends we spend here it is the best time we can have. I will not let 1 day with the worst server ruin a great atmosphere. TNT's you shouldn't let that 1 server ruin your name either! Get rid of her!!! read more

Portion sizes are generous--we couldn't finish everything and ended up taking boxes home, which honestly just means we get to enjoy it again later for brunch! This is a perfect stop if you're traveling along the I-15--especially for road trippers or truck drivers looking for a solid, comforting meal. Just keep in mind they're open from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, so plan accordingly. Definitely recommend if you're craving good, filling comfort food in a welcoming, homey setting

Upon arriving, you will see a Kiosk that you may order from. You may also enter to see their menu neatly written on a chalkboard (using marker, of course) and order from the Organic Tea employees. As for the atmosphere, this place is tiny. Maybe, just maybe, you will see Desert Valley Hospital employees waiting for their drinks as you scroll through the kiosk to place your order or read the menu. Today, I tried the Lavender Milk Tea and I made my modifications on the kiosk. It was made perfectly. There are other menu items I have not seen at the Apple Valley location, so I would like to return and try them. Such menu items include Happy Tea and Elder Healer, both of which I think are good marketing items for being in the same parking lot as a hospital. Food is not served here. FOOD TAMPERING - TEMPERAMENTAL WAITRESSES AND COOKS. We have eaten here for years and rarely had a problem, however they have a waitress named Christine, bleach blond and anorexic looking, in need of hormone replacement therapy who takes it personally if your food is not prepared right and you ask for it to be corrected. I sent over cooked eggs that were supposed to be over easy back and she loudly told the cook they were too brown, (the yolks were cooked almost through). She brought me back RAW EGGS and proceeded to make nasty comments as she walked all over the restaurant, refused refills on drinks and even argued with the person in charge from across the room that she was going to charge me for the ham on my plate after she was told to take it off the bill. The person in charge of course corrected the bill anyway and spoke to the cook about the raw eggs. While I was paying I asked for the poor excuse for a waitress' name, the cooks name and how to contact the owner from the person in charge while she, (Christine) walked back and forth behind me making more loud comments in front of customers and telling me how she had been there 17 years and nothing would be done. Then while I was paying she and the cooks continued to make rude comments from the counter and kitchen areas. What the were not aware of was (1) the gentleman sitting with me is an attorney and (2) that I had turned on my camera phone and caught it all. I will be contacting the owner as these two people have set this business up for a lawsuit for Intentional Food Tampering since the raw eggs could have caused serious illness had I eaten them and punitive damages for their verbal assault. A complaint is being filed with the BBB and the Department of Health for Intentional Food Tampering which will remain on the businesses record permanently and could cause both of these individuals to lose their food handlers permits and this is going to be posted on every internet site that concerns itself with this area. Its just too bad the owner has to be responsible for what her employees have done and if I have to go that far it will be her instead of these people who will be losing time spent in court and any other consequences that come down because of them. read more
