Very excellent food & service!!! They have amazing burgers, probably one of the best I've ever had.

Initially, a friend of mine recommended me to go to this restaurant for their beef curry. While that was delicious in it's own right, I came back to try their burgers and oh man were they good. My favourite was the Flaming burger because I'm a fan of spice, but I'm assuming that all the other burgers on the menu are just as good. I definitely recommend trying this place out if you love burgers. read more

Ok. I went there with a co-worker the other day for lunch. He had told me they had really good sandwiches burgers, salads etc. For some strange reason I decided that I was going to order the beef curry rice bowl. It was absolutely delicious!!!!! The flavour was awesome. I was really blown away. Fast forward two days and I can't stop thinking about it to the point I thought I needed to post this. This place is horrible. I ordered some ethnic type thing with an egg on top, beef and so on. There wasn't even a spoonful of beef, all salad and filler type stuff. Taste was very average. With so many good value places, why anyone would eat here is beyond me. I will never set foot in there again. Rip Off! read more

Heard about this place and tried it recently. I had the "Bob's burger" and agree that it was one of the best burgers I have had. Lots of large sized mushrooms, and real nice sauce, onions, bacon , tomatoes and lettuce. Why not a five star rating? The fries. They were dark, hollow and hard. Likely refried as others in our party concluded. Definitely did not look like the fries pictured in the other reviews when we went. read more

This restaurant has a nice environment but it looks very dirty and cluttered. Really slow on their orders. They simply overcharge for everything. A curry rice bowl is $10, I could not finish it before I threw it away because it is tasteless. A burger is $9 with some fries. There is no justification with that price. It's just a regular looking restaurant. They also have this ridiculous rule that you can't use debit for anything under $5. You simply can't go in for a medium sized black coffee for $2.50 without having to get more stuff to use your debit. I would not recommend this location unless you have money to throw around or desperate for food. read more

i finally got to try this place today. Great staff,let me make substitutions also our waiter went through the menu options with us. my friend was feeling brunch he had the Blackstone Benny and he gave it a 8/10. but he loved his fries. I had the bacon cheddar burger and added avocado. I will admit its the best burger I have had in Vancouver, for 3 reasons. 1) tastes home made and not greasy 2) generous portions 3) you can choose a side salad soup or fries. The fries are awesome. The great thing about this place is that it has a variety of options. Also a bonus the restaurant is very clean , especially the bathrooms. give this place 5 stars. will be returning next week. read more

I work in this building and one bonus is things here are fresh and homemade! Like in the morning fresh outta the oven type stuff...Yeah. Service is prompt and super polite. My coworkers rave about the best hamburgers ever...I don't eat meat so I can't comment. The Veggie sandwich is MASSIVE though and although a tad messy/drippy with sauce, it's so freaking delicious. Lots of avocado! These guys don't cheap out. Prices are a tad higher but the quality is there. I don't mind paying a bit more...Oh and huge bonus points for a veggie (mushroom) based gravy! read more

IF THIS VENUE CAME UP AS A RESULT IN YOUR "VEGAN" SEARCH RESULT: ABANDON SHIP!!! I was in a group of meat / veg eaters and suggested this place because it came up on my "vegan" search result on Yelp. I was SO excited to have a vegan hamburger in the company of my family, so the bad news came even heavier when I found out that they do not cater to vegan eaters! There was a salad and a veggie sandwich that could be workable with some modifications, but none fit the hamburger bill. I left the group and took a bus by myself to Gastown and ate at MEET, which was AMAZING and you should check out if you want a tasty vegan burger and found this place by mistake. read more

Oct.2. I arrived earlier than my party and saw the chef making the patties. Everything was just delicious.I really enjoyed the peanut butter burger with the two strips of bacon hanging over the sides. It was an ooey gooey mess. House fries, yummy! It was pretty quiet when we went in but I imagine they see their fair share of business during the day as the office building sandwich shop. I would definitely go again. read more

I ordered a veggie sandwich and it was slathered with mustard which I didn't realize until I bit into it. All I tasted was a mounthful of mustard. I don't think mustard pairs well with lettuce and avocado, but they were adamant that it's the way they do it. So the logic with that is if they put a thick layer of honey, too, it is okay because that's the way they do it. Okay, they remade the sandwich but handed back my take-out container filled with cold fries. Not quite customer service. I'd lost my appetite by then and $14.00. There are too many other restaurants in this city, and the one's that I've worked in would never have given cold fries. Not acceptable customer service. read more

This is a wonderful family-run place with terrific service and even-better food. My group had the Vegan Hulk Burger and the TED sandwich. Both were excellent and memorable. The menu selection is great for vegans and omnivores alike. Can't recommend enough. read more

For lunch with the Study Crew, I ordered a "Holy Smoke's" burger which came with a 6oz "smoked" patty, sausage, cheese, and the usual works inside with a side of fries. Combined with the fries, this is a pretty hefty meal. The vegetables were refreshing and didn't taste old. The patty had some good grill lines and had a bit of a smoky taste (from a mysterious seasoning), and the sausages were real good (though there were only a few slices of them). The fries were crisp and fluffy on the side. Nothing on McDonald's fries but some of McDonald's foods don't go bad for a long time which is unsettling for some people. All in all, I don't think my life changed for the better but the burgers sure were tasty. A mixture of good size and crispy fries made this a satisfying meal. A fun note is that that also carry a burger called "Bob's Burger". read more

I was here for dinner recently. Food 4/5: I had the kim chi burger ($14.50 incl. tax). This item is currently not on the menu but is available by special request. Apparently, it will be reappearing on the menu soon. It was huge, delicious, and juicy, and the kim chi is made in house. It was served with a side of fries, which unfortunately were on the greasy side. The accompanying garlic mayo was delish and super garlicky. Value 3/5: Okay. The only negative about this place is the location. You pretty much have to drive there unless you work nearby and can walk. The restaurant itself is nice and spacious with a good atmosphere. It's kind of like a diner but nicer and with way better food. The burgers are as good as advertised and service is usually fast and courteous. If I lived closer I'd eat there more often. It's a mom and pop operation which is always nice to support. Definitely recommended. read more

All I have to say is YUM. I discovered this place one day because we were going to science world and wanted to eat somewhere close before we went. I had never heard of this places but it came up on google map, so I read their menu and the Peanut Butter and Bacon Burger intrigued me. So we went to this small little place just off Terminal and I got myself this PBB Burger and OMG was it delicious, but just to warn you very very messy burger. I have no complaints about this place fries were great, salad was good, and the service was excellent. the only thing I would recommend if you got the PBB burger is just doing half the amount of peanut butter on it. And this place has awesome prices.$ I think about that burger often:) read more

If anyone is on the fence about the PB&B burger...Don't be! I was skeptical but it was amazing. Messy but delicious, like a true burger should be. The patty and bun were clearly fresh and therefore delicious. The service was prompt and polite during a weekday lunch rush, which is lovely. Salad and fries are both great. For a diner style restaurant this place is 5 star. Been there three times now and every meal was great. Took a friend for lunch today and he couldn't believe how spotless the place was. To Dine For Eatery is one of my lunch time pit stops during the busy week as it's conveniently located on my work route. My usual order is either the Flaming Burger, or Blackstone Benedict (two items I consider to be their very best, stand out menu items. Will try to do a proper review of these when I get a chance to dine in) but today, given the hot weather I felt I wanted something lighter, and new. I chose to take out the "Sea-farious Eggs Benedict. (I'm pretty sure the name is wrong but I'm sorry, no menu on me)" Now, I'm a huge meat fan, but once in while a non-meat dish can be surprisingly tasty so I decided to give it a chance. When I opened my container it was a bit of a shock to see so much green and yellow, but let me try to describe this as accurately as possible. A generous amount of avocado is placed on top of the poached eggs (I opted for soft poached), and it's doused in their delicious Hollandaise sauce. It had some spices sprinkled on top with a garnish of some kind (looked almost like mini artichokes) and most importantly, big, plump, shrimp was also arrayed on my platter. I gotta say, I really appreciate "proper" shrimp in my food as I've been so accustomed to the tiny micro shrimp establishments usually use in "shrimp" dishes. Attention to detail like this should not go unnoticed. But really now, how did it taste? It was fabulous! The superb creaminess of this eggs benny dish was only possible with the addition of the avocado. The richness in the eggs, sauce and avocado was perfectly complimented by the cool subtle taste of the fresh shrimp. The spices and garnish have a nice kick to the dish as well. I loved how this seemingly unique blend of ingredients really worked. I can't say the seafood eggs benny will "replace" the Flaming Burger or Blackstone, but I will definitely add it into my usual rotation! Mmmm.. just writing this review makes me want more! read more

The Flaming Burger is the best burger I have ever had in my life and I've eaten my fair share. The ingredients were very fresh but the best part was the amazing sauce. So much flavor with a little heat. I really liked the fries too. My wife had the Chicken burger with a salad which see really enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and the decor is excellent. This is my new favorite restaurant. Going back again tomorrow. Going to try the poutine burger. read more

Truly a nice surprise, this restaurant offers tasty well-made food at a decent price. I had never heard of it and other than a large sign advertising hamburgers, it's almost tucked away in this mostly industrial area. It's run like a cafe, with breakfast items and burgers. But they also have a few unique items like Korean bibimbap with vegan and vegetarian options. It was tasty and had a homemade feel, as did their chicken burger patty which was better than any I've had in your usual chain restaurants. Most of all, the service was truly outstanding. We were there for an early dinner and our server was extremely friendly and helpful. She seemed like she really cared about the tables she was looking after, including cheerfully playing with our toddler when he started to fuss. Well worth a stop, and I hope they continue to get great reviews because they've really earned it. read more

Weird place, burger were oke, I almost bought food everyday to go, by my office co work, but last time I just want to buy egg because my colleague forgot to add extra egg, they refused my order, they said just egg only they can not do that, (before i bought extra egg and was oke, again because my colleague forgot to order for me) this time they dont want to sell me, I know they sell it expensive $3-$-$3.5 for one fried egg and I am willing to pay for that. With every bite (mushroom burger) I couldn't stop commenting to my brother about how good it was. Fresh, homemade, mouth-watering goodness -- I wonder if they bake their own buns too -- so soft and perfect consistency. I can't wait to come back for more!!! Please try them out! I think because they are in a "lower traffic" area, they don't get as much business but trust me it's worth it to go!! Fantastic food, from burger to coffee ! They have chosen to use real good food for doing their hamburgers (organic, local), and it is pricy because it is delicious and charming. They support local farmers and high quality ingreditents (hand-made bread, as one of the many examples). Soup is delicious and fresh ! For who wants to compare to usual fast-foods, you are just so wrong. This is a restaurant who elevate burger to real healthy and tasty food, real plates, real drinks, real service.
