Firstly this is a prime real-estate the location as well as the building it's self. It's absolutely gorgeous with a side that allows you to sit in an area that is accessible to the inside and outside. The waitresses have super cute uniforms with overalls. The ambiance is very intentional. I did go within the first few weeks so I'll spin back when I feel some kinks may be ironed out. My experience was good but nothing spectacular. I did get a good amount of food to try two things in each category minus dessert. The bubble gum lemon drip was good if you want a sweet drink. I like my lemon drops sweet and sour personally. The mule was citrusy I liked it. The dip trio was amazing. Extremely creamy and cheesy in the top. It was put under a broiler I presume and that perfectly cheesy top was created that I like. The lobster was decent it was supposed to come with a lemon butter sauce which we never received even after asking for it. We also waited past this point into the entrees to receive silverware we were never given. Please not this is a restaurant that brings out what is hot first. Whatever is ready will come out. So someone at your table may eat before you. The Mac and cheese was extremely underwhelming, it felt like the noodles and sauce were kept separate then mixed , topped with cheese then baked. There wasn't enough sauce so the noodles were extremely dry outside of the middle. The sauce held all the flavor and it wasn't enough. The pineapples fried rice was supposed to be shrimp which they did fix , but it was a bit annoying to wait after having extreme wait time to get food wrong. I would have had no problem for a wait in hot food if it's correct the first time. After being sent back we did receive the shrimp pineapples and it was delicious. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. The lamb chops were easily the start do the show. The held the meal up from being completely mid to good. The cranberry sauce was amazing with the lamb chops and I did enjoy the size of them. There were a few pieces of asparagus and the mash potatoes were abut dry instead of creamy. Also on a Saturday night when we went it didn't give mid/upscale restaurant. The music was entirely too loud. I had to yell at my companion and repeat myself multiple times to hear them or vice versa. When I'm eating I want to be able to converse without yelling. Overall I would try them again to see if they've gotten used to their menu more but based on the price , food, service , ambiance it wouldn't be top of my list.

TOAST is such a fun addition to downtown Greensboro! The atmosphere is unmatched with an indoor/outdoor patio filled with greenery and flower buds on walls and the ceiling! It's a refreshing vibe! We went for the first time this weekend and enjoyed an array of brunch dishes and specialty drinks. Their menu is overwhelming with delicious options - I'll have to go back several times to try everything that caught my eye! The food we ended up ordering was SO GOOD. The drinks were yummy and everything was fairly priced in my opinion. It's a spot you'll want to go and spend some extra time. The service in general took longer than expected (we were there for 2 hours - just for our meal and 1 beverage). But that said it is an experience worth having again!

New brunch spot located where Fat Tuesdays was. I visited during their grand opening and things went incredibly well. I opted for patio seating. The music was at a reasonable volume and the food was delicious. The service was great-our waitress Taylor was very attentive, explained the menu thoroughly, and checked on us often. I tried the pineapple fried rice with chicken and it was good. The rice was a little undercooked but not bad. The space has great potential. I visited on Saturday with a party of 8. The restaurant wasn't excessively busy. We started with Sierra who was incredibly sweet and attentive but due to wanting a larger table we were moved to a different section with our waiter Mo. She was nice but she had a large section with a large party and I believe she was overwhelmed. Most of my party's food came out staggered with no issues and two came out about 15-20 months after everyone else's food arrived. We also had difficulty getting meal complements (ketchup, dressing, etc.). I realize that these are growing pains that will get better over time. The staff seemed very attentive and willing to make things right which is a good sign. I'll be interested in seeing what the future looks like.

Wowwww this place is absolutely stunning! It brings the metro city trending restaurant vibe to Greensboro . Whoever took their time crafting this place with their own unique menu and design. I came during lunch on a Friday, it wasn't too many people in the restaurant. So my server was very friendly and assertive. Food was 10/10 !. We got the trio dip and ocean egg rolls as a starter. You have to get the ocean egg rolls it's a must!! They taste like they fell right out of seafood heaven . Trio dip was good just wasn't big enough. I got the salmon salad for my entree, the salad was a generous portion with a great piece of fish seasoned to perfection!! ..date night , anniversary, and happy hour I'm Coming back!

Great atmosphere and a ok place to grab a drink. The cocktails were well made, although I only order a old fashion. Took longer than I expected with the crowd. Food seemed to be overpriced for what you get. I don't mind paying more for quality, but the portions and overall value just didn't quite match the price. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the drinks and the atmosphere. If the food pricing was a little more in line with the value, this would easily be a 5-star experience.

This was our first time visiting and loved it! From the minute we walked in the door, every staff member was friendly and welcoming. We chose to sit in the bar area (too hot to be outside) and had Pri as our server- she was awesome! Got great recommendations and since it was our first visit, I was asking some questions about the menu in preparation for our next visit- yes the menu has me thinking this will be on our new normal rotation of places. She was super helpful and patient as I asked about menu options and such. We just stopped in for a drink and an appetizer this visit but will DEFINITELY be back based off this visit. The atmosphere was very nice (we loved the outdoor bar area). The drinks & food we got were great-will definitely get the Hot Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings and the Milky Way again! The service and friendliness of all the staff members we interacted with made the visit even better. We even chatted with people at the table next to us. If you have not yet visited, be sure you support this local business!

1st dish to the table 11:52a. Birthday girl, last dish, at the table at 12:20p.

The atmosphere is beautiful and up beat. The drinks are also beautifully presented. Their choice of music made everyone happy. The service from the server was friendly and the manager, Alexis, handled our tables situation beautifully. There were no issues outside of the kitchen area. Our food arrived from 11:52a and the last dish arrived at 12:20. We all ordered together. I would try this establishing on a different day if Alexis is there.

I'll have to try toast again. Opening weekend was chaotic. I ordered a milky way to drink. It honestly had more whipped cream than anything. Maybe the portion should be adjusted. There were four bartenders but it did take awhile. The salmon and grits was delicious. I asked for hit sauce and it took 15-20 mins to come. I was halfway done with my food by then. My friends waited a crazy long time for their salmon and lobster roll. Our waitress was overwhelmed and forgot to bring various condiments to our table. It took a very long time for our friend to speak with management but she was nice. The atmosphere was nice. The decor was beautiful. The live music and dj was entertaining. The restaurant is spacious and inviting. I'll see if my second visit is better than the first.

I was a walk in and was sat inside immediately. My server Ki approached me within a 2 min time span with a trainee that was hot on her heels. I ordered jerk wings for my "small bites" and steak (med well) , eggs and potatoes for my meal with a cranberry juice no ice. I went to the restroom to freshen up (which was very clean and smelled good) and by the time I arrived back to the table my food came out. I was floored by how the food smelled. Between the nice music in the background and the scent that hit me from the food I was in a good place. The only thing was the AC was off so I started to overheat and felt instantly nauseous. I found out they turned off the AC because it leaks ... which led me to leaving before even really trying my food. I ended taking my food to go which was disappointing since I like to eat and enjoy the vibe . Overall I think I would've enjoyed my experience more if the AC would have been on. My rating is based on me overheating and not being able to enjoy my experience.

Lewis and Elm delivers a 5 star experience on so many levels. Many people I've spoken with think it's just a wine bar. Oh no, it goes well beyond your typical wine bar. First off, they have a full bar with a huge specialty cocktail list, craft beers, non alcoholic options and even THC drinks. We had amazing wine off of their impressive list, plus a few cocktails that were mixed extremely well. The food: amazing to say the least. Charcuteries, meats, cheeses, apps, finger foods, and a few uniques you have to get (one in particular). We enjoyed a beautifully plated charcuterie (see pic), the caprese bruschetta, a goat cheese pesto bruschetta, and that one in particular: the medjool dates. Everything was delicious, but these dates were on another level. The dates were surrounded by a bed of creamy Brie cheese melted perfectly, topped with crispy prosciutto and sprinkled with a balsamic reduction. All of this is easily mopped up with the fresh focaccia the dish comes with. This dish rocked! It was perfect on its own, but paired amazingly well with both the chilled white wine and the cocktails we were enjoying. The vibe is amazing as well. Upscale but super comfy interior. Come casual or dressed to impress, it all works here. Live music on the weekends add to the atmosphere and the whole experience. Come for the whole evening, or pre-dinner/pre-show drinks and bites, or even for a night cap after a dinner or show. Come for a quick pit stop, or stay for the live music. It's an all around excellent experience with great drinks, food, service and vibe.

It was a theater night when we went and we had a 7.30 show to goto and our server knew that. We got there at 5.30 so figured that gave us the 10 mins to walk to the theater to be on time. We started off with some drinks. My friend loved her cherry ale and I really enjoyed my G&T , the glass it came in was just so unusual. The G&T took awhile to finally make it to me but i loved it. We ordered the tuna tartare and that was delicious and served up with fried green tomatoes which was a different take on it. Nice and fresh and nicely presented. Our entrees were the salmon for my friend and I had the Bahn mi chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Usually this sandwich is with pork so I wanted to try this. The service for our dinner took almost 45 mins we had finished the app awhile back and my grind had another drink and still we were waiting. It was closing in on 6.50 Pm and at this point we would be inhaling our food when it came and rushing out the door . It came at 7pm and the sandwich was good but they should mention on the menu that it has mayonnaise on it as I don't like that but there was quite a bit on the bun. Not typically in this type of sandwich so I wasn't expecting it. The chicken was a good and flavorful and lots of other veggie fillings and the fries were great. My friend really enjoyed her salmon and the risotto it came with. Just disappointed we had to eat it all so quickly and leave some so we could pay and leave. We had our eye on the lemon posset tart for dessert but we didn't have time . We just thought since the server knew we had theater tickets she would have been more on top of it. Yes they were busy as it was a show night but the place wasn't totally full. Seemed like no urgency when we asked how long the food would be as we had to leave soon. I'd maybe try this place again on a non show night, as I thought they had a great menu. I enjoyed the place just not the service as we barely made the show before the lights went down.
