I was a walk in and was sat inside immediately. My server Ki approached me within a 2 min time span with a trainee that was hot on her heels. I ordered jerk wings for my "small bites" and steak (med well) , eggs and potatoes for my meal with a cranberry juice no ice. I went to the restroom to freshen up (which was very clean and smelled good) and by the time I arrived back to the table my food came out. I was floored by how the food smelled. Between the nice music in the background and the scent that hit me from the food I was in a good place. The only thing was the AC was off so I started to overheat and felt instantly nauseous. I found out they turned off the AC because it leaks ... which led me to leaving before even really trying my food. I ended taking my food to go which was disappointing since I like to eat and enjoy the vibe . Overall I think I would've enjoyed my experience more if the AC would have been on. My rating is based on me overheating and not being able to enjoy my experience.

1st dish to the table 11:52a. Birthday girl, last dish, at the table at 12:20p.

The atmosphere is beautiful and up beat. The drinks are also beautifully presented. Their choice of music made everyone happy. The service from the server was friendly and the manager, Alexis, handled our tables situation beautifully. There were no issues outside of the kitchen area. Our food arrived from 11:52a and the last dish arrived at 12:20. We all ordered together. I would try this establishing on a different day if Alexis is there.

I'll have to try toast again. Opening weekend was chaotic. I ordered a milky way to drink. It honestly had more whipped cream than anything. Maybe the portion should be adjusted. There were four bartenders but it did take awhile. The salmon and grits was delicious. I asked for hit sauce and it took 15-20 mins to come. I was halfway done with my food by then. My friends waited a crazy long time for their salmon and lobster roll. Our waitress was overwhelmed and forgot to bring various condiments to our table. It took a very long time for our friend to speak with management but she was nice. The atmosphere was nice. The decor was beautiful. The live music and dj was entertaining. The restaurant is spacious and inviting. I'll see if my second visit is better than the first.

Took over an hour to get a drink. That's all I ordered, who knows how long the food would have taken. Not a pleasant experience.

The downstairs area is the main music hall, with a legit stage, a large bar, and plenty of open room. The second level features a cocktail and whiskey bar, along with a separate lounge style room filled with leather couches and chairs. The third and fourth levels both offer outdoor space, with the third floor having its own bar and the fourth providing additional seating and city views. It's a great mix of spaces for pretty much anyone. The music really stole the show this evening. I arrived early and snapped a few photos before the crowd rolled in. Dear Sister rocked tonight. What an excellent cover band! I'll be seeing them often whenever they roll into town. The only thing holding this from being a 5 star night was the service. It was decent but noticeably slow even before the crowd showed up. Once things got busy, it became very hard to grab a drink or get anyone's attention, which is typical for a packed place but still worth noting. Overall, this is a super fun spot with great music and tons of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy. I'll definitely be back for more live shows or to hang out with family and friends on a nice day up on the rooftop areas.

The menu reflects this with cocktails, wine and beer and the menu is extensive on the beverages! The food menu is terrific and has so much variety and some really nice plates small and large. It was a theater night when we went and we had a 7.30 show to goto and our server knew that. We got there at 5.30 so figured that gave us the 10 mins to walk to the theater to be on time. We started off with some drinks. My friend loved her cherry ale and I really enjoyed my G&T , the glass it came in was just so unusual. The G&T took awhile to finally make it to me but i loved it. We ordered the tuna tartare and that was delicious and served up with fried green tomatoes which was a different take on it. Nice and fresh and nicely presented. Our entrees were the salmon for my friend and I had the Bahn mi chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Usually this sandwich is with pork so I wanted to try this. The service for our dinner took almost 45 mins we had finished the app awhile back and my grind had another drink and still we were waiting. It was closing in on 6.50 Pm and at this point we would be inhaling our food when it came and rushing out the door . It came at 7pm and the sandwich was good but they should mention on the menu that it has mayonnaise on it as I don't like that but there was quite a bit on the bun. Not typically in this type of sandwich so I wasn't expecting it. The chicken was a good and flavorful and lots of other veggie fillings and the fries were great. My friend really enjoyed her salmon and the risotto it came with. Just disappointed we had to eat it all so quickly and leave some so we could pay and leave. We had our eye on the lemon posset tart for dessert but we didn't have time . We just thought since the server knew we had theater tickets she would have been more on top of it. Yes they were busy as it was a show night but the place wasn't totally full. Seemed like no urgency when we asked how long the food would be as we had to leave soon. I'd maybe try this place again on a non show night, as I thought they had a great menu. I enjoyed the place just not the service as we barely made the show before the lights went down.

Whether you're looking for something to pick you up (their iced coffee lattes are fantastic) or something to help you unwind (beer, wine, and THC drinks), there's truly something for every mood and time of day. For those underage they have an array of desserts including local ice cream and lemonade. I also love how they keep the space active with weekly events, live music, and community gatherings. It feels like much more than just a place to grab a drink. My partner loves their Thursday night bike rides, and I always enjoy the live music they bring to the park. Another bonus is the location. It's within walking distance of the Greensboro Cultural Center, the downtown library, and the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts, making it the perfect stop before a show, visiting art galleries, or enjoying other local community events. It's open year-round, which is great, but since it's an outdoor space, just come prepared for the weather. Overall, it's a unique local gem and a must-visit in downtown Greensboro!

I kicked things off with the "Alex Old Fashioned," which I enjoyed. Brittani, however, took one sip and looked at me like I had just ordered dessert in a glass--so, your mileage may vary depending on your sweet tooth and relationship dynamics. Instead of going full tapa chaos, we opted for the $60 three-course route. The tomato soup was a solid opener--comforting, no notes. The burrata was... fine. It felt like it was one good drizzle of something sweet away from being memorable, but it never quite got there. Then the mains showed up and completely changed the tone of the evening. The burger and the gnocchi? Unreal. Like "briefly stop talking to your friends mid-sentence" good. Easily the highlight. Dessert was an empanada that landed squarely in the "we're already full but let's be polite" category. It did its job, but the stars had already been earned earlier. Shoutout to our server, Amanda--absolute legend. Cool, knowledgeable, and casually working on a full tattoo bodysuit, which somehow made me feel like I showed up to dinner wildly underachieving. She was fantastic. Bonus points: parking downtown was easy, and it wasn't packed, which felt like winning twice. All in all, Pangaea is a great spot--just a few tweaks away from 5 stars, but definitely worth the visit (and the gnocchi alone is reason enough to go back).
