Not speedy but still excellent. Clean and polished and great interior. I was here at 1pm on a…read moreweekday and it was still pretty busy for being the far end of the lunch rush. I decided to stick with the day's special, a "Bestie" corned beef sandwich for $11.95. What arrived twenty minutes later was an absolutely delicious sandwich - corned beef and cole slaw on a somewhat sweet bun. Not a massive portion but tasty and delicious. A good size for lunch. Service was good but it was clear that they need more staff for lunch time. Was it the best deli in all of Ohio? It was absolutely excellent but the lunch special might leave you still wanting more. You know I gotta try it out Right next to a gas station, seem like a pretty safe area. I don't know how long this place been here, but walking in feels like the place just got renovated, very clean, and welcoming, one of the girl is not, seem like she just woke up, even tho is 4pm in the afternoon, maybe she got started her shift My server was more friendly, very nice lady I can't remember what my ordered, but you can see it on the menu. Now I don't know is me or because of what it is now in our country, everything seem sooooo expensive You see in my photo, that sandwich is like $17, you can order half sandwich half side, or the full sandwich like mine for the same price, like I said, is 4pm in the afternoon, this is my first meal, so I'm going for the full. Added basket of fries for $4.99 and a cup of soup another $4.99 Food is okay, nothing special. I'm not a big fan, the reason why I'm giving it 5 stars even tho is not up to my standards of taste, that's because of me, everyone taste are different, I'm not going to let what my taste effect my stars rating, the food still good, place is clean, my server is friendly A bit expensive, I walked out of there $30, for a sandwicH, fries and soup, in a tiny little town of Dayton? Well... us not you, is the entire America I guess

First time here…read more.. In a nutshell: don't recommend this location... Lots of workers but all the tables are dirty. Here during lunch and it's not even busy at 12:00-1220 (time I was here). Agree with comments about ordering being confusing. But once you get the hang of it, it's not a big deal. The ice machine was janky and I had a really hard time dispensing ice. Staff just watched as I struggled and when I asked then they proceeded to act... by coming out with a spatula (nasty looking) to turn the ice. I ordered a super sized French dip and they only gave me half a container of au jous. Biggest thing was after half way through my sandwich, they had loaded so much horse radish that my au jous was just a mix of the two. The roast beef was cold. The bread and toppings were fine. The sandwich was long but skinny... I don't feel like they skimped on meat or toppings though. Overall, not recommended.

Friends and I were a little confused about the ordering process (you select a bag that has a menu on it - there are bags for pre-selected and for build your own). I thought I would try their Cheezeburger sandwich cause it look delicious in on the menu. What I got didn't come close in appearance. It tasted OK, but nothing like a burger. I paired it with a Coke and fries. The fries were good! The staff was nice and the place was clean. I felt the prices were a little high, but not too bad. And there are lots of other food options in the general area of this sandwich shop. I'd probably try many other places before returning here.

The counter does not necessarily allow for people to view unless they try and look over to see them cooking but that is neither here nor there. I got a cheesesteak with mayo, onions and mushrooms. It was very good. Tasty and messy. Just the way I enjoy my sandwiches. It is difficult to compare to a Philly cheesesteak because the bread is different. It was tasty though. The food did take awhile to come out. It was to be expected because they are cooking it to order. I did notice that the food sat awaiting to be passed out for long than I felt like it should. The focus was on people paying and not getting the food out. The reasons for my three stars was not the food. It was the start of the process. The gentleman that helped us didn't seem excited to have us in. It was more like he was going through the motions. I watched as he talked to everyone. Never welcoming anyone in. Just asked name, what was wanted and anything else and he motioned everyone down the line. Kinda disappointed in the exchange. I get answering the same thing over and over, but welcoming people in is the first thing in business. Probably won't return to this location. I will try another and see if the experience is the same.
