    Protein omelet

Our 1st breakfast stop on our 3 day hurricane Helene tour. This place was a packed house on a Saturday morning. Judging by the conversations between the staff and guests the majority of the clientele are locals. This location has indoor as well as outdoor dining. Ordered the homemade corn beef hash and eggs, bagel with lox special and a protein omelet. The corn beef hash was a small portion and was dry and not that impressed. The bagel special was really good and the omelet good as well

Great time. Great service and food. Clean and delivered what they promise. Homemade pancakes and French toast are really good!

Stopped into the Toasted Mango this morning for some coffee and breakfast to start the day. Seated in a booth right away the coffee was quickly served along with our menus. The wait staff was everywhere - I swear they could read our minds with the coffee refills and were quick to clean up plates as they emptied. The inside reminded me of a Jimmy Buffet video - lots of bright colors and natural light. There's a clear glass or plexiglas between the dining area and the kitchen. Ordered the toasted mango special - two eggs, bacon, home fries and French Toast. Mango butter is house made and added a sweet flavor when melted on the French toast. Good breakfast, great service.

When looking for a Sarasota staple that serves traditional breakfast look no further! They serve both all day breakfast and lunch, diner style with inside and outside seating. We were seated at a booth, the server came by quickly got us going on drinks and food. My dad is an omelette guy so he chose the three cheese omelette and I went for the recommended and featured toasted coconut mango waffle! Also opted for the fresh squeezed orange juice. Food came out quick and you can tell everything was made in house, yes the orange juice was squeezed in house as well. The waffle was fluffy and did not even need syrup! What made this waffle special was the fact that it was covered in mangos and toasted coconuts!! Great flavor! Dad's omelette had chunks of cheese in it and he opted for bacon as well, which was generously cooked in. I really loved the diner feel and the great food! I hear sometimes there is a longer wait, but they are quick to move the food and crowd. I do recommend this place!

This was my 1st at the dwtn Toasted Mango Cafe location. Parking is easy either lot or street. I ordered the Protein Wrap Fluffy Egg Whites Scrambled With Fresh Sauteed Spinach, Mushrooms, House Roasted Turkey, Feta And Low Fat Jack Cheese All Served In A Low Carb Tortilla, With Sliced Tomato On The Side. Minus the cheese, feta & Turkey. Was delicious I even enjoyed the 2nd half the next morning. My server was SUPER KIND to have the kitchen make me a special Mean Green Smoothie (Mango, Kale, Banana, Spinach, Apple, & Agave) with NO BANANA. Thank you so much it was amazing!

This breakfast spot was recommended by the locals. They have mango butter! I got the toasted mango waffle and it was soooo good. The service was good we had a couple servers stopping by and helping out. The place seems a little run down and older not the sparking cleanest I've ever seen but the food was really good. I would definitely come back here.

The food was very tasty. They had a lot of vegetarian options. They had eggs Benedict, which was also vegetarian. I really see that other places it was so tasty. Ambiance is like a diner We got : Eggs Benedict - Veggie Black Bean Veggie W/Avocado Eggs Benedict Eggs Benedict With Smoked Salmon All Eggs And Omelets Are Served With Your Choice Of Home Fries, Grits, Potato Cake, Mixed Green Salad, Or Fresh Seasonal Fruit And Choice Of Toast, English Muffin Or Homemade Biscuit. We got home fries and potato pancake But we got fruit instead. The waiter was very nice and corrected the mistake

My dad and I had a fantastic breakfast at Toasted Mango! I opted for their namesake mango waffle, which came with delicious fresh mango and coconut on top. The waffle itself was outstanding, and would be great on its own as well. I also had a cup of oatmeal to start, which was very well made. We sat outside on the patio, as their indoor dining room was full. The patio was a beautiful place to sit and enjoy our breakfast, underneath the shade of a large tree. I'd highly recommend starting your day in Sarasota at Toasted Mango!

Ambiance was a cute cafe, interior was nice with friendly staff as service. Only issue with service I had was I was told the wait would be 15 minutes & unfortunately that turned into 45 minutes due too "nobody getting up" from there seats apparently. Not sure how true that was, but anyways..... the only reason why I'm giving this cafe 4 stars is because my smoked salmon Benedict tasted slightly fishy . ( If you eat fish you know fish shouldn't taste fishy ) . Other than that the eggs and potatoes were splendid as well as the mango French toast. I would come back here to eat again , although I'm a pescatarian I'd probably not order the salmon Benedict again ; and stick to basic roots such as the French toast or try the waffles.

This place is walking distance from the hotel that I was staying at and wanted to get some coffee. Since it was open early and they served breakfast food, it was bustling with people coming in and out. I just did take out as I had to go back right away. It didn't take too long and I was admiring the decor of the place. It's fairly large for a diner style place. I recommend it for someone who is on a budget and wants a variety of food that isn't just seafood.

Toasted Mango Café is a small but very pleasant little café with both inside and outside dining along a walkway that serves as its patio. It's a breakfast and lunch place, basically open from 7:30 am until 2:30 pm. The menu is rather small with things like a salmon plate, avocado toast, a "Sarasota Omelet of house-roasted turkey, a veggie burger, Reuben, etc., all at reasonable prices. I had their "Marylou" comprised of a goat cheese, fresh mango, jalapeno, and bacon which I found to be both unique and delicious. The wait staff couldn't have been more friendly and attentive.

Fresh flowers bloom in every corner, their sweet fragrance mingling with the comforting aroma of steeping tea and freshly baked cakes. The menu is a delightful symphony of flavors, with each dish crafted as if by fairy hands. The tea sandwiches are dainty yet satisfying, their ingredients so fresh they seem to have been gathered from a mystical garden just moments before. The salads are vibrant and bursting with life, each leaf and garnish adding to the overall tapestry of flavors. And, of course, the cakes! The cakes are tiny works of art, each bite a burst of sweetness that leaves you floating on clouds of pure bliss. Even the soups, served in charming little teacups, are more than just a meal--they are comfort and warmth, a gentle embrace on a slow afternoon. Kathryn is the heart and soul of this fairy-tale haven, a living embodiment of the kindness and beauty that fills every corner of her restaurant. Her generosity is evident not just in the thoughtful touches that make each visit special--like the fresh flowers that greet you at every table or the extra care taken to ensure each dish is perfect--but in the way she treats each guest like an old friend. There's a sweetness in her smile that makes you feel as though you've known her for years, and a gentle warmth in her words that wraps around you like a comforting blanket. She moves with a quiet grace, always attentive, yet never intrusive. Whether she's offering a kind word, making sure your tea is just right, or sharing a delightful story, she does so with a lightness that leaves you feeling cherished and cared for. It's clear that this restaurant is more than just a business to her--it's a labor of love, a place where she pours her heart into every detail. In a world that often feels rushed and impersonal, the owner's presence is a reminder of the beauty of kindness and the power of a generous spirit. To dine here is to be touched by her sweetness, and to leave with your heart a little fuller, your day a little brighter. I really loved the theming inside the Cafe, pink is one of my favorite colors and I felt like they used the cafe space pretty well. They offer a variety of baked goods including different flavors of baklava and spinach pie. The menu also includes some fun drinks including coffee, tea and cocktails along with sorbet and gelato! We ended up trying their hot Mocha and the siamese mocktail which was ginger ale, mango, almond, vanilla and agave. We also treated ourselves to a piece of the chocolate baklava which was phenomenal, definitely give that treat a try it was a good balance of depth from the cocoa and sweetness (not pictured because we practically inhaled it). The coffee was really yummy, I did find the mocktail delicious but very sweet with my initial sips even after stirring (prior to letting the ice melt) being very syrupy (I wonder if there is a way to make it less sweet or to ask for maybe half pumps of syrups or to swap ginger ale for sparkling water), other than that the flavor combo was good just very sugary. We did purchase a day pass to play with cats which are held in a separate area visible from the cafe. I found the price of $20 for unlimited time during your stay to be pretty fair. The cats were all pretty sleepy during our visit and we anticipated a bit more cats to be present and about, (however this may be a good thing), despite this we were able to make a good time petting the cats in their perch and playing with them with the vast amount of toys available. The inside of the cat area was a bit sparse in terms of places to sit with the cats and comfy areas to lounge with them for play so that made staying an extended time a little uncomfy, we broke up our time by playing with the cats, enjoying the cafe and then playing with the cats again. Luckily re-entry was allowed in this case. We went on a Monday afternoon, so this may be due to the timing in the day but if you are expecting a place with many playful cats this may not be the place. Especially if multiple people are present you may be having to vie for attention from a few cats. However, if you are willing to move around and make your own fun and are okay with seeing cats acting in a way that is more consistent with how they would be in a normal home environment than you would have a great time, this environment is truly perfect for those looking to adopt for that reason! I appreciate the mission of Katys Cat cafe and glad I could support.
