You have nooo idea how excited I was to hear they just opened a "Toasted" 5 minutes away from my house! Located right next to UCF... I felt like a little kid just hearing some great news better than good haha. This location is bigger than the winter park one, so besides having the periodic table of cheese they also have some other nice wall decor (Burger21 used to be located here). Service when I went was good and the food tasted amazing as if I was eating at the winter park location. This chain definitely has me impressed that I may have to travel to Lake Nona to check that one. If you love sandwiches and cheese this is the place for you to be at. I usually go with the Pesto chicken (no tomato chutney) and there famous truffle fries that you can go wrong with. The hubby always gets there Southern comfort burger that has Mac n cheese in it bc that's his #1 mac n cheese haha. We always share of course because I mean you can't go wrong with what you order. I came here right when it first open and I was expecting another upscale restaurant that made mediocre food for a premium price. But after coming quite a few times and trying out a few of the items. I really fell in love. While the menu is small there is never a shortage of options since every item is unique. I got a new burger which was fine but while I was eating my fries I felt a hair in my mouth - another black short hair. This time on the fry. Normally I go to the winter park location because they never disappoint. Unfortunately due to an order error I had to come to this location. Not only was the cashier rude and dry but The vegan burgers ordered were disgusting I had to reorder different food. As a vegan I was so disappointed with their unappetizing patty poor choice of toppings. The flavors were not complimenting to the patty. After waiting my kids didn't even eat anything but the fries after being disappointed. $50 later I will never return to this location I will stick to winter park where they never disappoint with friendly service or hot fresh food. read more

I would recommend eating here if you like grilled cheeses. The food is affordable, staff is friendly and helpful, and I love their menu. They have a lot of unique items on the menu with various ingredients so you can try something new or just get a staple grilled cheese or cheeseburger. They have sides and salads. I took my girlfriend to Toasted because I been hearing about this place and never tried it. So I decided to take my girlfriend to check it out. My girlfriend got buffalo chicken and for her it was AMAZING! I got the Barbacoa Melt it was great as well. But not going to lie, what my girlfriend order tasted better. The environment here was upbeat and funny, and the food was delicious. I got the brisket sandwich, for only $8 it could have lasted me two meals but it was so good that I ended up eating the whole thing. The food is very heavy though and did not sit well the rest of the night, but the flavors of the sandwich, especially dipped in their BBQ Sauce made it all worth while. (10/29/2018) Came by for a lunch meeting with a UCF student. Picked this place primarily to be close to the campus. It was not busy when we got there (just before noon), I guess this is just far enough away to not have a lunch rush between classes. The bread here is excellent, and they have a good way with toast. The fillings were a little bland. Expected the garlic spinach in the "As Gouda As It Gets" to be, well, garlicky. The Bahn Mi is a turkey burger, with Vietnamese pickled carrot and daikon, cucumbers, cilantro, jalapenos, sriracha mayo. Not much zip to the carrots and daikon (I expected "sour" with pickles), the turkey burger seemed to be a frozen, pre-formed patty. The thick jalapeno chunks had some heat to them, but was the thing I tasted the most about the burger. I chose poorly, should've gotten something with melted cheese in it. My dumb ass got the only thing on the menu without. One of us got The Smokehouse with mac 'n' cheese in, and it did look good and cheesy, but I wasn't personally feeling the carb on carb love today. If it was close, maybe we'd be there more often, and def, I would be more cheesy. read more

I ordered online, got there and they hadn't even received my order. The girl brought it out quickly with a free sandwich voucher for the trouble (the only reason this gets 1 Star). I walked back to my office, ate my truffle fries (very tasty), but when I cut into my burger the egg (ordered over medium) was raw on the inside and the burger (ordered medium) was very rare. This place was amazing, the grilled cheese was very homey and it is nice because, although you can get a classic grilled cheese you can also get these amazing creations that just blow your mind. Oooey gooey good grilled cheese!! I LOVE Toasted for many reasons. They have a nice variety of sandwiches, including grilled cheese, burgers and chicken sandwiches. They also have a few salad options. They offer lots of gluten free options! I can't get a gluten free grilled cheese anywhere else. I typically get the truffle melt, the big cheese or as gouda as it gets. Its always a tough choice since they are all so good. My love of truffle usually wins. Since the GF bread is more thick than regular bread, the cheese to bread ratio has been off a couple times and I order extra cheese on the big cheese. They take gluten seriously here and have a separate area to make food for gluten free requests. Fries come regular or rosemary & truffle oil. My husband either gets a burger or the buffalo chicken grilled cheese. Each time we've been, we've been happy with the food. We used to go in to the restuarant a lot but order mostly from Uber Eats now, which we receive super quick. We will return! read more

I was pretty excited to come here after hearing raving reviews from my friends but sadly, I was let down by their quality. The concept of a restaurant devoted to grilled cheese sandwiches (as well as other choices like burgers and vegan specialties) is awesome but this location didn't seem to make the cut for me. It's pretty neat inside the restaurant with the neon sign that says "I get toasted" and instead of table numbers they have different names of cheeses in the style of the periodic table. Very cute. I ordered a buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwich and the wait wasn't too long but when I bit into my sandwich, it wasn't even warm. When you go out to eat anywhere, I think that most people would want their food at LEAST warm. The chicken in my sandwich was still COLD. My friend who came with me said that his sandwich was cold as well. I hope to have a better experience if I ever decide to come back to this location but I think the BOH could do a much better job in preparing the food at a warmer temperature. read more

But the fresh taste of the pesto made me enjoy it. I've since been back 3x. I can't forget the Rosemary and truffle fries! These if you drive home with them will make you want to eat through the bag you're carrying it in. The smell of herbs and fries of truffle goodness is one you want to try. My only concern is that it comes with no sides and is a little bit expensive for the amount of food you get. would be nuce to get a small.order of fries with the sammie. But the food is very good quality. The place is very clean. It's just a good place to get a solid bite to eat.
