I am a big fan of sushi and their sushi bowls are the next best thing to having 17 rolls of sushi all to myself. My usual go-to is the make your own sushi bowl. I load it up with all the rice, veggies, and raw tuna that the bowl can contain. There are plenty of other options if fish is not your thing. Their menu boasts several options for bowls, noodles, sushi, rolls, and mac & cheese. Pretty much any comfort food you could want, they have. I'm always greeted when I come into this location. The staff are very friendly and are ready to help if you need it. Even though the staff seems to always be making to go orders, they always make time for the guest who are inside the store as well. While my local store is usually busy with online and to go orders, the staff make time to ensure that the inside of the store is clean and cozy for guess who want to dine in as well. I always find a nice place to sit, and I can have a good laugh at the skeletons that decorate the front of the store. The store and the skeletons always match whatever holiday season we might be in. It's a nice personal touch to a relatively commercial store. I recommend this Sus Hi to anyone looking for a tasty, reliable meal!

It's so flavorful and savory! I usually take it to go because the searing is limited. They have a small dining area, but it only has a few tables and a bar area to sit. The staff are always kind, and helped a lot when I was going through a vegetarian phase. If you love Vietnamese food, or you're looking to expand your pallet, this is a must try home grown spot!

I want to note that this location was clean and the staff was friendly, so the star I did give above one star was because it seemed reasonably well run. The pho I was served was not fit for a restaurant. I understand that pho varies in quality by restaurant, and the Vietnamese restaurants that specialize in pho or have it as the emphasis on their menu have, by far, the best pho in my experience. The pho I was served was about the saltiest pho I have ever been served in my life, and it tasted only vaguely of beef stock. The preparation of the soup base was deficient and it should not have been served to customers. In addition, the beef round was already fully cooked when served in the pho, meaning it turned well done, making it tough. This was the worst pho I have had in at least two decades. I am not exaggerating when I say I have had instant "pho" from convenience stores and Costco that was less salty than this one. It was Maruchan Instant Lunch packet level salty. I suppose it was oddly nostalgic, even, because I had the gross feeling I'd have after gorging on instant ramen in college. I don't know the best practices for pho in Vietnam. I've mostly been eating pho in California and Oregon, including with some frequency at Pho Hoa, a well-known pho chain. But this pho is $16 a bowl and it is not up to a minimal restaurant standard. I came by because I didn't want to drive all the way to East Colonial Drive or Mills Ave to my favorite joints during rush hour. I should've just endured the traffic instead. I have not tried the chicken pho, so I don't know if it has the same issues. But I don't think I'll be returning, as in all honesty, the beef pho was ghoulish and that first impression will be hard to erase.

Wow. The size and quality of these rolls were just spectacular. Everything tasted super fresh…read more My mom devoured her dragon roll and I was able to scrounge up a bite. The eel was cooked perfectly and with just the right amount of eel sauce. Similarly, the pac-man roll perfectly balanced the sweet and savory flavors and I loved the addition of the cream cheese to this roll. Lastly, the volcano roll had more perfectly cooked shrimp tempura (I normally don't eat the ends but it was fried the best way possible) and balanced flavors. I wound up eating my "leftovers" in the car. Go with a good appetite to enjoy everything!! For beverages, I had the Kizakura sake and absolutely loved it. Dry and tasted like water, just like I like

We stopped by and found it to be a nice little spot with good value and a welcoming vibe. The truffle fries arrived looking impressive with a crispy exterior, but fell short on flavor. They tasted more like premium fries than truffle fries, which was a letdown given what we were expecting. That said, they're still a solid appetizer if you're hungry. The real draw here is the happy hour. Three sushi rolls for around $18 is a pretty solid deal, and we appreciated that the happy hour menu keeps things simple with rolls featuring just one or two ingredients. Nothing fancy, but executed well. The sushi itself was good, fresh, and satisfying without being exceptional. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service was not noticeable (which sometimes is a very good thing), making it an easy place to grab dinner with friends. Would I make a special trip? Probably not. But if a friend wanted to meet up nearby or I was already in the area, I'd definitely return.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. The aguachile was so good that we ordered it both times we came. The carnitas were packed with flavor and came with a very generous portion of meat, and the sushi, carne asada, and tostaditas were all excellent as well. The atmosphere is vibrant, fun, and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal and drinks. On top of that, the prices felt very fair for the quality and portions you receive.
