I came here for dinner on a Thursday night. Most people that walked in got takeout but I decided to eat at their small high top area and it faces the window so you can people watch. I asked the cashier what her favorite sauce was so I went with the Thai chili 3 piece tenders. She was very friendly and even mentioned a happy hour for mondays. It took about 10 minutes and was nice and fresh. These tenders are a perfect size and I really enjoyed the Thai chili. I would definitely come back if I was craving chicken. Especially with the variety of sauces.

Todd is a fabulous Korean fried chicken place tucked away behind Room Service & Ester Ev just off Kinnickinnic. Easy ordering from the kiosk then we took home our bounty - wings with K-Spice sauce for me and the Thai Larb rub for Mai. We also got a side of Takoyaki which are little balls of octopus meat fried with a crispy exterior - do not sleep on these, they are amazing! Overall, a great quick, relatively inexpensive (about $12 per person) dinner that was filling and delicious. Not many places to sit in the winter, but in the warmer weather there is a great sitting area outside

Food 4/5 Service 4/5 Ambiance 4/5 Todd - "I Believe I can Fry" is one of the few places that specialize in Korean fried chicken in Wisconsin, and they absolutely do it right. The chicken had that characteristic Korean fried chicken crunch, and the soy garlic sauce was excellent. The korokke (not pictured) was also amazing, with a good crisp crust and a nice sauce to accompany it. The atmosphere was pretty casual as well, with a small counter for indoor seating and many outdoor tables with umbrellas for outdoor seating. In the middle of summer though (or even winter), just having that small counter space may be tough for when the weather isn't great. On a fair day though: I see myself hanging out here on a regular basis. Great place!

I've been wanting to try this place since they first opened and finally got around to it! I ordered delivery and everything was incredible! The katsudon was hands down the best I've had in a long time. The pork was super crispy even after delivery, and the sauce had the perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet. I also got the sweet potato fries and they were just as good. They were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. You can add different flavors to the fries, which I'm definitely going to do next time! The portions are huge, so you'll definitely have leftovers. I'll definitely be back to try their chicken as well as the potato korokke and some of the other appetizers. :-)

Hands down the best wings I've had in Milwaukee to date. We stopped by around 5 p.m. on a Sunday and were able to order at the counter without any wait. The food arrived within 10 minutes and we took it as carry out. The staff member behind the counter wasn't super friendly, but the quality of the food certainly made up for that. The cheese curds ($10) were cubed and perfectly crispy -- a departure from the typical variety you see at establishments around Wisconsin. The tangy garlic lime mayo cut through the richness of the dairy, making for a perfectly balanced bite. The Thai Sweet Chili bone-in wings were incredible. The sweetness was followed up with just a whisper of spice, resulting in a totally harmonious flavor profile. I'm not a huge fan of barbecue, but the Seoul BBQ bone-in wings were really good. The sauce had some smokiness to it that created a really interesting depth of flavor. Though $18 for a large order of bone-in wings (12 total) felt a little pricey when we swiped the credit card, I can honestly say the quality is worth it. The wings themselves were cooked to a crispy perfection and weren't drowning in sauce. We didn't stay to eat, but there is a small counter indoors where you can enjoy your meal. Otherwise, it looks like they've got a variety of outdoor seating options. I can confidently say I'll be back at Todd again. And if you're in the area, I'd recommend a stop.

Thai Larb Wings - maybe our new favorite dry rub

Some of the best wings in Milwaukee! TODD has a huge selection of wings and unique sauces, and Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken).  Additionally they offer Japanese Curry Bowls, and sides like truffle Parmesan fries, cheese curds, gyoza, and more. The sauces are what really blew us away - everything was so unique, absolutely delicious, and the ingredients tasted so fresh. Our favorite sauces: Garlic Lime Mayo, Mango Habanero (Amazing. The mango was SO FRESH, like pureed mango), Tom Yum spice. Plenty of NA beverages as well as Asian and local beers, Soju, Sake, and Wine. We love the pour your own beer towers. The staff is very welcoming and the space is bright and fun!  They have a large patio with a heater and some indoor seating, and they also offer to-go food for delivery or pickup. We have eaten there and done pick up, both were great.

We wanted wings on a Friday night and decided to go to Todd. It's hidden in the back behind Room Service but not hard to find. We got the Garlic Lime Mayo and Kspice wings, both really delicious. Great if you like saucy wings! Also got the corn ribs and takoyaki. Everything was so so good and highly recommend. We will be back to try more things soon! They have a really nice patio and inside there's only four seats.

The best fried chicken you'll find probably anywhere. Fresh and delicious, not greasy at all, and with a ton of different sauce and seasoning options. The fries were fantastic too, crispy and a massive portion - we should have split one for two of us. There's a nice outdoor space for warmer weather, and the restaurant is in a great area of Milwaukee near some cool bars and other attractions. We'll be back for sure!

TODD 'I Believe I Can Fry' is tucked away and easy to overlook - it's a short walk after Room Service. Skip parking on KK, go around the block and access the small parking lot off of Robinson Ave. This is a small restaurant with a few seats inside, plenty of seating outside. I went for their two spiciest wings options, was excited to see that they had a dry rub option. The Szechuan Spice had nice zing to it without overwhelming (I like spicy food). The Mango Habanero wings I ate second, and I'm glad I did - wet sauce really lingers (compared to dry rubs) and I definitely had my lips tingling for the drive home. The Mango Habanero sauce balanced the sweet and spicy profiles of the ingredients well. Certainly felt the heat but it wasn't too much that I couldn't finish all the wings.

Absolutely delicious chicken here! Food did take awhile to come out but I know it's because they're frying everything fresh and made to order. It's tucked away behind room service and there's some nice seating outside. The menu was pretty expansive with lots of different curries and fried chicken to choose from. There's also a solid amount of vegetarian options. The portions are HUGE and I easily had three meals out of the chicken karage and curry. I will definitely come back to try their wings!

Original Fries, Larb Karaage, and Soy Garlic Karaage
    Tom D.

I really like this location. Easy to find parking, and the restaurant feels tucked away behind the other nearby buildings. Lots of great outdoor seating. Lots of yummy sounding things on the menu made it hard to choose. Ended up going with the soy garlic Karaage, Karaage laarb, and fries. I was really hesitant about the laarb. I love laarb, but I didn't think those flavors would lend itself well to fried chicken. It tasted great. I wouldn't call it laarb though. It tasted more like tahin than laarb. The soy garlic wasn't as good but was solid. A more gochujang forward flavor would've been better. The fried tteok-bokki was awesome. Looked like cheesy puffs without the orange powder. Had no clue what it was until i started chewing. The chicken itself for both was solid. The fries were decent. Good crisp but lacking seasoning. I poured some of the laarb powder to make up for it. Definitely would come back and try the other flavors as I love the place's vibe and had a good meal.

    Mango Habanero wings
    Jed H.

Stopped in on a weekday afternoon and it was not busy. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered one flavor from sauced and powder category. Mango Habenero and Thai Larb. The wings are meaty and come out piping hot. The sauced wings were well seasoned, sweet and sticky. Not spicy IMO. The Thai Larb wings were our favorite, nice kick and tang you'd expect from the Larb seasoning. The white cheddar fried were great as was the ika geso, fried octopus. Everything is fried, so it does get heavy. But the food is good and they have a wide array of flavors. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for some unique flavor of wings!

    Outdoor patio
    Sandy N.

Stopped at Todd for a quick after-bike snack. There is 15-minute parking in the back, but this is not sufficient time if you are placing an order and waiting, let alone eating there. The outdoor patio is great, with plenty of seating. I did see two outdoor bathrooms, but they were locked, so you probably need to ask for a key. I got the 9-piece wings with the K-Spice. I wish you could add more flavors, even if it cost extra. The K-Spice had a gochujang base and was very mild spice. The chicken was fried fresh and crispy, but I couldn't tell if they were twice-fried. I also got the fries with white cheddar seasoning, which was pretty flavorless. The fries seemed pricey for what they were. I'm interested in trying the truffle fries next time. Overall, I'm happy to have this chicken place as an option and very curious about their dry rub seasonings. I'll be back for sure with a larger group to try more of the menu.

When we arrived for our 4:30p reservation, there was a line of half a dozen people hoping to get a seat at one of the bars first come, first serve. One is the alcohol bar and one is a sushi bar. Our server was amazing. She had great recommendations and made sure what we ordered was spaced out nicely as the tables are small and some of the dishes take up a good amount of space. We ordered bottles of mineral water. We don't really drink so this made the meal feel even more upscale and it went so well to cleanse the palate between courses. The food was phenomenal. There wasn't a dish we didn't love but extra about out for the hamachi kama yaki - grilled yellowtail collar. It was bigger and meatier than I expected. Delicious. The sushi here is amazing. I'm half Japanese. When I go to sushi places not near a coast, I usually don't get much raw aside from scallops and spicy tuna or salmon rolls. These hand rolls were absolutely fantastic. The seaweed wrappers had covers on them to slide off just before taking a bite so the wrappers stayed crispy. I would go back here just to order various hand rolls. The pad Thai was the best I've had. The noodles were perfectly cooked and smooth in my mouth with the light yet creamy sauce. I could only take a couple bites as we ordered more than we expected we could eat haha. I cannot wait to go back to Milwaukee to go back.

The reason I speak to the number of adults is because they were a bit inappropriate: they were very loud and I felt so bad because I have no doubt the group I was with disrupted the experience of other diners. I'm not a prude but even I was slightly embarrassed at times (I didn't know the group well and didn't anticipate the noise/volume). ANYWAY, I bring all that up because our server tolerated us and I was very grateful for him. Aside from being kind, he was very knowledgeable about trying/pairing items and making suggestions for us. The drinks were beautiful and the food was bright--fresh and flavorful. Bathrooms were spotless. I am looking forward to coming back on my own ;)

After reading how busy they are, we made reservations but found them to not be too busy upon our arrival though it filled up quickly as we sat there. Our server was perfect- from beginning to end, he was friendly, helpful and efficient, offering his help if we needed any guidance with the menu. We chose the spicy edamame, chicken gyoza, shrimp tempura, green mountain roll and the spicy tuna roll. The spicy edamame was a great alternative to our usual edamame, with great flavor and just the right amount of spice. The chicken gyoza was also delicious. I was very pleasantly surprised with the strong garlic and lemon flavors from the green mountain roll- never have I had such a flavorful sushi roll! I appreciated the smaller bites here but I felt all the rolls had a bit more rice than my favorite sushi place. A lovely surprise I appreciated & didn't expect was the small salad that was served between our appetizer and sushi - so tasty and perfectly balanced out our meal! Our server, Adam, was quick and attentive. He was funny, suggested items for us to try, and was very tentative of our friend's food allergy. We started the night with a few drinks; #39 non-alcoholic Paloma, #129 non-alcoholic sbagiato, and #33 Sherry Pear-Y. All of which were absolutely amazing! Then we ordered the Chili Crisp Deviled Eggs (comes with two pieces), Crispy Thai-Style Oyster Mushrooms, Cappelletti, Slow-braised Bison Cheek, Cha Ca La Vong (Catfish), and the Wood-fired Bavette Steak. Where do I begin? First off, everything was fantastic! Delicious, creative, and memorable. Some dishes even had us ordering seconds! First the Chili Crisp Deviled Eggs: so creamy! We ended up ordering another plate of them (four orders) because one wasn't enough for the four of us. The Crispy Thai-Style Oyster Mushroom: insanely seasoned! It was crispy and the kick of the Thai chili peppers, made it our tables favorite (we ordered another plate of this)! The bits of crunch rice mixed in was also a pleasant surprise. The bits of green beans and cucumber was a nice way to cool the kick of the spices. The Slow-braised Bison Cheek: It was very interesting. Very soft and when paired with the polenta cake, mozzarella, and carrot, it tasted amazing. Cha Ca La Vong (Catfish): Also very interesting. It tastes very similar to a Vietnamese catfish soup! The pineapple fish sauce paired amazing with the glass noodles. The only complaint I have about this dish, was that the glass noodles weren't fully cooked, so they were a bit hard. The Wood-fired Bavette Steak: My god, this was amazing! It was perfectly cooked, the dark chocolate bordelaise paired with the mushrooms and steak was incredible. Like I said, everything was amazing! Our table was blown away with the creativity and quality of the food. The service was amazing, everyone was very sweet and helpful. The atmosphere was lovely and quirky.
