Had specific instructions to install dishwasher using garburator plug, instead he plugged dishwasher into lighting load plug below sink beside the garburator plug, dishwasher ran and fried a $150 smart switch for lighting. i needed my freezer worked on, it was dripping water and freezing everything up. I called Todd after reading the reviews and he got back to me very quickly. He talked me through the problem and suggested what I could do and even gave me the website for the parts. He told me when he would be here when the parts came in what he was going to charge for his services. My dryer didn't have any heat and my bill was $227!! Service call and heating coil! Used Todds Appliance...NEVER AGAIN!! He overcharged me $10 on his addition( noticed after he left because his paper is so sloppy) called told him and he said "well I should of charged u more but I liked u and your husband"! Charged for hr and half labor while he talked for half the time about his personal life..his ex wife, his kids...blah blah blah!! This guy is the best. First, let me start off by saying he's not my friend, or relative. Found him on the internet just like you. He made time for me the very next day after I called him when he was already booked. Spent 2+ hours trying to fix my dishwasher. Pulled out all the stops explaining all the way. Worst customer service Ever! Avoid this place! This guy is super rude. Normal at first but if you ask too many questions or politely as not to be called back when you dont leave a voice mail like a stalker would do then he blows up at you. Who yells at customers? I was having issues with my dryer at home and wasn't sure who to call for advice. I "googled " local appliance repair shops in the St. Charles area and came across Todd's number. I called Todd and left a msg for him explaining my problem. Todd returned my call about 30 minutes later and knew the exact problem. My 16 year old dryer wouldn't heat up anymore. In my frustration I ordered a new one figuring it would cost too much to repair. I called Todd to ask his opinion. He said he probably knew what the problem was and could be out right away. Low and behold he fixed the problem for MUCH less than the cost of a new dryer (which I really couldn't afford anyways). He also cleaned the vent to the outside. I couldn't believe how much stuff came out! He explained the repairs he made, was prompt, courteous and did a great job.
