    Mild ramen and California roll.
    Melanie S.

Considering that it's a food court Japanese food. The mild ramen we ordered with eggs are pretty darn good. We also ordered pre-made california rolls. Service was fantastic, the sweet lady even brought our food out to our table. The eating area is very clean and they keep up well. I know there's not much option at this food court, but this place is worth the try.

I had an hour to kill before my hair appointment and decided to have dinner here. The food was tasty for a fast food joint. Although some of the noodles were a little hard it was still good. The chicken meal comes with noodles, fried rice and veggies. Drizzle a little soy sauce and delicioso. The service was acceptable and I can hear them cooking my food as soon as it was put in. Two thumbs up from me!

Great shrimp tempura & udon!!! And the service was great!! The prices are super affordable. This is a really good every day udon joint. We'll definitely be coming back!

Located at the Otay Ranch Mall "food court" . The employees are nice and the prices are very good. My kid loves Spam Musubi, and they're basically overpriced no matter where you go. But here they are standard and only $1.99. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl. The sauce is mild in flavor, but okay. My other kid got ramen. Don't expect anything fancy, their ramen seems to be the kind you can make at home in 5 minutes with some green onion added to it, and it's exactly what my kid wanted so I can't complain. Also got their California roll which tasted fresh. Overall, the food is just okay and priced appropriately.

First I want to say thank you to Alexa! She has outstanding customer service! Hope the owners are treating her right! Definitely a gem of a human being (: The place has some seating inside and lots more outside since it's attached in the shopping center. Parking is shared with the mall and its big! They have really good pricing! I got the house combo I think it's called? It came with orange chicken, chicken teriyaki, veggies, rice, and noodles ! All for about 12 bucks! Now it's not top quality food but it's good. I also got a spam-missubi for about $2 bucks good size, again not the best quality but it okay for mall food. Overall a cool place definitely worth a try if you're in the area (:

The service was nice the girl was a very friendly how was undecided what I wanted to eat but there is mixed reviews on the Ramen. And I asked the team member and she said it was her favorite and o e of the most popular things. So that's what I decided to Gaten and I had to add dumplings for $2.50 more and it came with came with green onions but it's definitely like the one you would buy in the store for $.25 it's not a broth all it is is water and add the seasoning to it I would not get it again and I were not recommend it and for the price you can definitely get some really good ramen that comes with eggs and beans sprouts etc and when it only takes 3 mins to get my order a little to fast Then you definitely know it's instant soup :(

I have to say it was definitely not my favorite ramen. It wasn't bad but there was very little flavor to it and not many other ingredients in the ramen beside the chicken. A positive is this place is pretty cheap! I also got a California roll and spam masubi which I have no complaints about! The lady working at the register was super nice and helpful!

    Baked Salmon Roll

Came here for the Tuesday $6 sushi roll deal. Cashiers were friendly, immediately asked if we needed any help. The meal was pretty fulfilling. Since it was a to-go order, the sauce was left in a separate container so the tempura crunch stays crunchy. Dragon roll was decent, too. As for the baked salmon roll, it's still a good deal for the price I paid. However, if this is how they make their baked salmon roll normally, it's a little bit different than other places we're used to. Don't forget to ask for ginger (& wasabi)!

You know when you eat something that was made with love and your like wow, yesssss I feel the love and you just can't wait to take another bite!? Welp if your looking for that this place was definitely not it and lacking in the tastebud love department:( sadly. I came here on a quick break for lunch during work and the order took about 15 minutes. The gentleman who was cashiering was friendly and professional and knew the menu well when asking questions. They have a range of food from sushi, fried rice, pho, ramen, chicken and shrimp meals. I ordered the tempura shrimp and veggies with a side order of fried rice. Both the items were pretty mediocre. Needed lots of soy sauce and sauce I don't usually use that much of on my food. The veggies were undercooked so I didn't finish them. The rice was also ehhh. Overall my experience here was just ok.

Hawaiian roll, $8.49 (decent CA roll topped with tuna, but don't expect sushi restaurant fresh)

Great place in the mall, located in the food court, but much better than food court food. Huge Porsches, and very tasty.

They serve instant ramen. The person working the front was very nice. But the ramen, not ramen.

I don't think you could have a really bad view anyway. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. This was the first time my grandson went to a Teppanyaki restaurant. He loved it and it brought joy to our faces to see how much fun he had. The expression of joy, and also how the chef interacted with him, left us laughing. The chef was very entertaining and landed all the tricks. We had so much food we were busting at the seams. I personally had a filet mignon dinner. The steak was done at a perfect medium. The salad was as expected. The noodles, the vegetables and the fried rice were delicious. They were two things I didn't really like that we were given. One was the hibachi soup and the second was the Tokoyaki. The soup tasted like steak seasoning to me and the Takoyaki was too mushy. The only thing us adults were really bummed about was there was no bar there. They did have Japanese beer, sake and wine, but they were mostly bottled or canned. I wasn't in the mood after that for the alcohol so I just chose a Japanese creamy soda that was melon flavored. It was OK. I didn't really care for it too much as well. I expected a more stronger melon taste. For appetizers, we got the crispy calamari. It was done to a light crisp, which made it enjoyable to eat. My grandson got the french fries which was a huge basket for a little kid. He loved it. We had a fun time together as a family, laughing and enjoying each other's company I would definitely go back again, even though they didn't have a bar.

We were informed this restaurant was open 8 months ago. Our teppan chef was Jackie. He put on a good show while looking food for us. Whoops, I meant "cooking". The chef did look very professional and looked good. We ordered Okayama special for two and Japanese spring rolls and the total came to $87.87. The Japanese egg rolls for appetizers were extra light and crispy not to mention they were piping hot! It came with its own sauce but I highly recommend dipping it in the steak sauce too. It reminds me of creamy ranch but it's not a ranch. We ordered the Okayama special which has steak in medium rare, chicken and shrimp. We also upgraded to fried rice. Everything tasted great! I had a lot of leftovers. The owner is one of the chefs cooking for everyone. I was shocked the resturant is run by two excellent teppan chefs. They are very hard working. Don't forget to tip the teppan chef as they deserve it! There was plenty of parking outside and food came fast. Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area.

Not only was our food significantly delayed for a pick up, but when it finally arrived, all three of the premium rolls we ordered were incorrect. Considering the higher price point of these specialty rolls, and past experience, I expected more of a "quality control" feature. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the manager, Julie, clearly acknowledged there was a problem with our order. However, the only response we received was a brief, "I'm sorry." While an apology is appreciated, it did little to address the inconvenience of waiting an extra 40 minutes for the food that wasn't even what we ordered. There was no meaningful effort to make things right, no explanation for the mistakes, other than "we are working on that internally" and no attempt to compensate for the poor experience. Mistakes can happen at any restaurant, but customer service is what separates a good establishment from a bad one. Based on the totality of circumstances from the delay of the food being ready when stated and then the order being incorrect, I had expected a bit more. Unfortunately, the lack of urgency and accountability shown by management, Julie, left a very negative impression. Between the excessive wait time, incorrect order, and inadequate response from management, this was not an experience I would recommend, and I will be hesitant to return, which is very unfortunate because we are frequent flyers and seeing quite a bit of new faces today makes me wonder if more is going on internally. Adding, as a frequent flyer, there are times that our food is incorrect with our customizations, but because we are so appreciative of the one server when they are short staffed and the quality of the food, we generally don't say anything, the reason for this review is more of the lack of customer service experience firsthand by the manager, Julie.
