a bowl of shrimp, broccoli, and snow peas

Tokyo Joe's is one of my favorite "fast food" type restaurants. My lunch today was fresh, hot and just as I ordered it. Salmon, shrimp teriyaki bowl with half rice and half noodles. The counter staff was friendly and efficient. The location itself was clean and organized. My food was brought to me eight minutes after I ordered it. I like the self serve drink station and it has many choices from sodas through teas. This is a great location.

So bummed to find out it was Opposite Day today when I opened my to go order full of jalapeños. Would write more but I need an hour to go pick them all out of my food.

Bento box portion- looks like a kids meal went bad.

Ordered a bento box from uber eats and half the bento box was empty. Chicken was dry- rice was hard - take a look at the sushi they tried to make. Not worth the price. I usually love Tokyo joes but this was awful- it didn't look like what they usually produce.

Had to eat everything BUT the sweet potatoes cause they were just not edible. Waste of money

Seriously. Let's put cold sushi in the same bag as warm meals. I don't even want to eat the sushi knowing it was not treated properly.

I recommend planning ahead with a reservation, as they can get busy during a dinner rush. We were visiting Colorado for a quick weekend trip and were floored by the food here. While the rolls all sounded great, we opted for an omakase experience. It is priced at market value, so I imagine this could vary over time, but they had three tiers for omakase, which I thought were all fairly priced for the amount of food included. We opted for the highest tier, which was $120 pp, and it was incredibly filling with high quality cuts of fish and a thoughtfully curated menu. The sushi chef who took care of us was incredibly kind, and it was clear he put a lot of care into the food he prepared. If you're on the fence, hop off and make that reservation and come hungry for the omakase experience!

They…read moredidn't even have real wasabi, which already tells you everything you need to know about the quality here. The sushi menu is tiny compared to any legitimate sushi spot, and the menu itself was filthy. Not "a little worn," actually dirty. First impressions matter, and this place failed immediately. There was also zero indication whether you seat yourself or wait to be seated, so customers are left awkwardly standing around wondering what's going on. To make things worse, the entrance feels bizarre and rundown, like you're sneaking into the back of a storage building instead of entering a restaurant. If you want real wasabi, go to a proper sushi restaurant. This felt more like a watered-down imitation than a real dining experience. 1/10

The food has been delicious, hot, and full of great flavor. Plus the location is clean and always very well kept. Seen this place transform to many restaurants over the years. However, the one time I really needed some pho, the experience wasn't the same. I was excited for something hot to get my body back into fighting mode, but I was disappointed when the rare steak pho arrived lukewarm. The broth wasn't hot enough to cook the steak, which just sat there barely changing color. I'm not usually one to complain, and I was very hungry, so I went ahead and ate it, but I can't say I enjoyed it. The broth was also a bit salty, and it wasn't the traditional pho experience I expected. Typically, you get the garnishes on the side so you can add your own sprouts and lime, but here the sprouts were already in the bowl and no lime was provided. I understand variations exist, but I did expect the broth to be hot. While I didn't capture a picture of the pho I did have some pictures of the ramen I've enjoyed here on a couple occasions. Again, great ramen experience but when it came to pho, it just didn't do it for me this time.

Pho and egg rolls were excellent. Clean and well designed interior. Would go back again.read more

My sister had teriyaki chicken with fried rice and I ordered the Katsu chicken with steamed rice. I also ordered the tempura shrimp. The food was good over all but I felt my rice was a little tepid. I even called out sick Monday because my stomach was so upset. I didn't eat dinner that night so had to attribute my illness to the shrimp. My best friend brought me here as somewhere she gets poke from, I decided to try the pork Katsu curry because it's one of my favorite Japanese dishes, and it was so good. The prices are pretty normal for what it is, I think mine was about.$17 Definitely need to come back and try the poke, I had a bite of my friends and it was delicious too

From the moment we sat down, it was clear that the service here operates at a different level. Our server was exceptionally well versed in the menu and sake pairings, explaining ingredients, preparation, and flavor profiles with confidence and genuine enthusiasm. You can tell the waitstaff is deeply trained to understand the food, beverages, and how everything works together. Their sake recommendations were spot‑on and elevated the meal even further. Every dish we ordered was executed beautifully. The miso eggplant was silky and deeply flavorful, perfectly balanced between savory and sweet. The miso black cod was rich, flaky, and melt‑in‑your‑mouth tender, while the mixed seafood tempura was light, crisp, and impeccably fried without a hint of greasiness. Each appetizer showcased refined technique and restraint. The Colorado steak with truffled potatoes was another standout. The steak was cooked perfectly and paired beautifully with the earthy richness of the truffled potatoes, easily holding its own among the sushi offerings. The moment that truly made the night unforgettable was the Osaka‑style pressed sushi served aburi‑style. It quite literally changed my son's life and opened his love for sushi. We ended up ordering several more of these incredible bites of salmon, topped with mayo and lightly flame‑kissed, resting on perfectly seasoned sushi rice. The fish here is so clean, well cured, and expertly prepared that I strongly recommend ordering a side of fresh wasabi--it brightens and elevates the flavors even further. The lobster sushi and scallop sushi were also exceptionally fresh and delicious, reinforcing the level of care taken with their seafood. Dessert was the perfect finale. The green tea tiramisu was light, creamy, and indulgent without feeling heavy. To cap it off, our waiter brought us yuzu and lychee sorbets, which offered a refreshing, citrusy finish and showed thoughtful hospitality. As we were leaving, something small but meaningful stood out. All of the sushi chefs looked up, raised their heads together, and warmly thanked us with sincere goodbyes. It was a gracious, heartfelt gesture that perfectly reflected the hospitality we felt throughout the evening. We cannot wait to return.
