I eat here often and just wanted to give a shout out to the staff today. I came in to place a to go order. The young man at the counter very nice, patient while I decided what I wanted. I was going to mix it up from what I normally do, but had to stick to my regulars I always get the white chicken/rice bowl. I get double edamame, and double water chestnuts (YES THEY ARE BACK ON THE MENU!!!). And then I get peanut sauce. My order was hot and ready in less than 7 mins. And they included chop sticks, a fork, napkins. Always delicious!!! While there I stood and waited near the front. I looked around d to see the cleanliness of the restaurant today. Floors were clean, tables were wiped down and the outside eating area was also clean. Couple different groups were outside eating and enjoying their meals under the umbrellas. If you haven't been to this location, I advise you go. Also you do not have to go inside of the mall to get there. They have an outdoor entrance but the new dance studio. read more

Tokyo Joe's is one of my favorite "fast food" type restaurants. My lunch today was fresh, hot and just as I ordered it. Salmon, shrimp teriyaki bowl with half rice and half noodles. The counter staff was friendly and efficient. The location itself was clean and organized. My food was brought to me eight minutes after I ordered it. I like the self serve drink station and it has many choices from sodas through teas. This is a great location. read more

In spite of nobody else in the place, the cashier did not have any patience for us to order When we did order, the food was subpar - very salty, short on main ingredients. Of course, we're pretty spoiled by all the varieties of bowls and poke in DC area. But this is a pretty decent place, though items were not consistent in their flavor/quality. I loved my poke, but i did get extra protein, loved their dressing that came with it. My husband didn't like his bahn mi sandwich. i think the chicken was ok, but the bread it came on was kind of stale. But we are used to authentic vietnamese places back at home, and they do bake their bread in-house daily, which makes a huge difference. Kids' chicken bowl (?) didn't have that much flavor, but kids did pick on edamame and some rice. I also ordered grilled shrimp as an extra protein for kids and they inhaled it. (great value too: for like $6 they give you 12 normal size shrimps!) We ordered one of the menu salads and swapped chicken for steak, it was good. Service was very nice, everyone was super-friendly. This Tokyo Joes is very good and serves the quality of food and service that I expect from this chain. I no longer live in Colorado and we always crave Tokyo Joes because it is unique and healthy. Especially at this price point. Everything on their menu is under $11, this includes steak, salmon, and Mahi Mahi. They also have a loyalty program that offers a free entree for signing up. Some of the sauces are not for everyone, so when in doubt ask for a sample. We did and it helped us choose a good sauce. It's hard to beat Tokyo Joe's for the money. read more

Last time we ordered from Tokyo Joe's it to around 2 hrs, someone sent the order to a store almost 8 miles away. It was good just took a long time. This time the order came exactly to the min on time. Got some of the summer salads. I remember when you would get salad dressing with the salad. They need to let you know that the salad dressing is optional to add. The chicken was a bit dry but fortunately my wife makes a great salad dressing that works with the salad. Looks like it's best to personally go to the store. Maybe an online order with a delivery check before sending an order out. Went around 5:45 pm, ordering went quickly, staff was very friendly. My double veggie, dark meat with spicy yaki bowl came out plentiful and hot in less than 5 minutes. Everything was fresh and crisp. It tasted great and I'll definitely be back. They did start to get busy after 6 but they were efficient and no one waited long. Everyone seemed quite happy. Tokyo joes is one of my all time favorites fast casuals. Picked up dinner tonight and both my husband and I chose big bowls as our appetites were big. Got home and about 80% of the bowl was all rice. As an addict member I really expect more and feel pretty let down. I don't expect all protein but even the veggies we were skimped on. Why pay the extra if all you get is a boat load of rice. Just bit in and the rice is completely over cooked and complete mush. Worst TJ experience ever. read more

When you do the online ordering and when you show up they will be here cooking the food still they said you had to call and specifically ask for a time and they can see what they can do. there's a teriyaki madness down the road that Does it about 1000 times better and actually says what it mean. It's now been an hour waiting for food that has not been done the only excuse the manager has it as well it's a busy time so if you're looking for a fast family meal this is not the place to go is much better getting food around town as I could've made it home faster and cheaper. I love TJ's, it's my go to fast food, chain when I need something to eat while I'm out but can't make myself even look at Ronald. All the food is delish, although my favorites are the Spicy Tuna and Yo rolls. The Spring Rolls make a perfect lunch on a hot summer's day. TJ's can also make most all of their menu items GF for all those Gluten Intolerant souls. I love Tokyo Joes. This one in particular I've had a bad experience every time I have gone in (at least 10 times). I try to give them another chance each time because I LOVE the food and the founder of the establishment. This location repeatedly has bad customer service (rude cashiers) and they always mess up my order. I'll usually only get a couple of the veggies I have ordered in my bowl and then filled with rice. My husband and I got tired of going up to ask them to correct our order. Sometimes we just don't even go up at this point. We have stopped going to this location all together. The one by the Colorado Mills mall is amazing. Great food and customer service!! I should've never cheated on them!! 11/13/18 Update: The guest relations coordinator reached out to me and was very apologetic and kind about our bad experience at this location. I absolutely love Tokyo Joes as a whole and this is nothing against the company! This place is soooo good. They have the best pot stickers and food. It has the best service out of all of the other Tokyo Joes in the area, and the employees are so kind. My only problem is there was not a lot of Mango Lemonade left so I think they should refill it once it gets halfway. But please come here and support them they are the best!! I hate giving bad reviews. Like a lot. But I waited 30 minutes after ordering to get my to-go order of one single Bento box. It wasn't a complicated order either. I waited while people came in, ordered, sat down, received their food, ate AND left. After me standing there for 25 minutes I see one of the employees in the front whispering and printing out my order and saying to hurry up with it. But they didn't say anything or excuse it. It was one of the servers that came up to me by himself to find out what was taking so long and HE fixed my order and apologized when it wasn't even his fault. And when I came home already annoyed, the sushi rolls were falling apart. I've been a server myself, but I always owned up to my mistakes and made sure to apologize. The fact that the two employees that screwed up didn't even approach me while I was waiting, that's what bugs me. Not coming back to this one anytime soon. read more
