I can see why it's rated as good as it is. I went there for a late lunch after messaging a yelp friend for rec's. It's close to Great Lakes Naval base in this little white, but clean non descriptive building. Several tables and a counter if you're open to that. I have a feeling it's more of a take out place, but I opted to dine in. They have a solid menu I want to explore but ended up trying Yellow curry with pork which comes with a side of white rice. One word; Outstanding. Generous portion, the right amount of heat (spice) for the general population and more importantly, the owner who walked over afterwards and asked how it was and was genuinely seeking feedback. I personally want more heat in my food, so she's more than willing to accommodate individual tastes. I drove up 30 minutes from my office to give this place a try, and from all accounts, I'll be making a weekly run up there. If you're in the area, give this place a try. read more

Delicious food and perfect portion sizes ! The prices are unbeatable for the quality of food that you get. Also, the sweet woman taking orders/serving food made this whole experience amazing. I can't say enough about this little gem! Best Asian meal I have had since leaving Okinawa. We ordered the shrimp friend rice and it tasted just like this little place outside of Camp Foster in Japan. We also ordered Tempura Udon. Perfectly cooked! Order the ginger salad with carrot ginger dressing. It's a treat and they make it themselves! Great service! Great Prices and open until 9:00. The lunch specials look amazing. The Japanese Udon with shrimp tempura was okay. The shrimp was good, but the Udon seemed like to just came out of an instant noodle packet. I also got the dragon roll.. the rice was a bit hard and they didn't give you much eel. I guess I shouldn't of had that high of expectations from a cafe like this. I love this place. Love all the food I've had except For the chicken satay. The people are super nice when I've done drive through. The Tom yum ramen is my favorite. We drove about 25 miles to come here for lunch today. As we were getting closer to our destination, I was completely convinced the GPS was wrong. The building seems very old and quite small. When we entered, we were the only patrons there which my kids thought was a little on the creepy side but it seems they do a lot of take out orders rather than dine in orders. Our food, that came SUPER QUICKLY, was amazing! I got the drunken noodles with beef, husband got miso ramen, youngest daughter got Sesame Chicken and oldest daughter got chicken ramen. We also got spicy tuna sushi and Philadelphia roll sushi. Everything was delicious and the cook was super friendly asking several times if everything was ok. Looks like a run down building, but the food is pretty good. You have to pay first and tip first before eating, which was kinda weird. And as for refills, you're only allowed 1 additional glass. But you get some variety between Japanese and Thai food. Fried rice was pretty good. It's a good stop since there's little Asian food in the area. read more

BEST PAD THAI AROUND! I am literally obsessed with it and I'm very picky with my pad thai. They give a generous amount of noodles which is great. I cannot say enough good things about Tokyo Siam. The food is delicious! I usually order the Drunken Noodles, Siam Basil Fired Rice and the Red Curry. My wife always orders the Katsu Don, also one of my favorites. When you order food extra spicy at most restaurants, you don't get what you asked for. This place delivers on the heat and then some. Do not let the location put you off. As it was located right next to a gas station and not much else around it, I definitely hesitated...however no regrets and I am so glad I found this gem! I only tried the pad thai, tofu with no egg, -however it was delicious! I am a pretty picky thai dish eater, so I was pleasantly surprised that it was very flavorful, saucy and not dry like so many others. The tofu was cooked perfectly, not rubbery but crispy. The portion was very hearty and I will definitely be returning to order the same and try pad see eiw next time. Will keep you posted on how that one is! read more
