I was in the area and in the mood for some Thai food and this was the only one open on a Monday night. We walked in and the restaurant was empty not sure if that was a sign but we decided to dine in anyways. It looks as if most people order for pickup there were a few that came to pick up. We were seated right away and we started with their chicken potstickers as an appetizer. I ordered Thai Tea and chicken pad Thai and we also ordered the chicken fried rice in curry. The potstickers were delicious I enjoyed the flavors. The soy dipping sauce was a little sweeter than I was anticipating. The chicken pad Thai is where the 3 stars comes from. I was not a fan, the taste was forgettable but the noodles weren't cooked all the way through so they were tough to chew. It just was not my ideal version of pad Thai. The rice on the other hand looked good, I would have ordered that instead. The Thai tea was made correctly and I liked that I got to stir my cream in. It's satisfying to watch. It's almost like going for a fine dining ambiance but the inside comes across dark and dingy. I don't know if I would return. read more

Thai chicken fried rice is pretty good. Portion is huge that I only finish half of the portion. It has more ingredients than I thought. A lot of chickens and vegetables which I like it. The worst Thai food I have ever eaten, complete waste of $100. Thai chicken wings were close to being jerky. Chicken Pad Thai, some of the meat was spoiled and it tasted like it had ketchup in it. Red curry was watered down with little flavor. The lemongrass beef had some Thai flavor, but very little and the meat seemed like rehydrated beef that was thin and tough. I have to throw out everything and I ordered 2 for 1, many dishes haven't been touched. Yes, my stomach is paying the price this morning. What a disgusting meal! I will never trust Grub Hub reviews, I should have came here first. 132 1 star reviews shows this is a horrible restaurant. I'll preface this with that this was a delivery order, we had to reheat, so foods not as fresh as it could be. They didn't not have Pad kee mao on the menu, so the closest thing was hot and spicy noodles, which was probably the same thing. Spicy level isn't as bad as other Thai restaurants, but that's totally fine with me! It's on the sweeter side, and basil flavor is lacking. Lad nar, we got for the kids, cuz they love fat rice noodles with a light sauce. It was just as expected, the kids really liked it. Spicy catfish is always a go-to order for my husband whenever we go to a Thai restaurant. It's always so spicy, which it's true here also. Fish fillet is not coated in batter, which is different than what you'd expect with other fish dishes in Americanized Asian foods. Flavor was great. Would save the sauce to eat with rice. Definitely on the spicier side, but still enjoyable. Pad Thai was definitely our least favorite dish. It doesn't have a strong sour tamarind flavor, and it's way too sweet. Almost like tomato sauce/ketchup noodles. Which isn't bad but just not the Pad Thai I expected. No crushed peanuts or bean sprouts or at least I could tell. But the shrimp was good, it's crunchy and sweet. We enjoyed the Thai platter, as there were a variety of appetizers. The crab rangoon was too sweet, definitely missing the cream cheese sour flavor, but there were a lot more spice/flavors to it. Besides the sweet flavor, I think the weird spice mix was quite interesting. We also had Tom kha. Not shown in the picture. The Tom kha was also missing the sour flavor, so it came off too sweet. But the coconut flavor was very strong, which was great. Veggies inside were delicious too. Overall, Thai food here is missing that acidic zesty flavor profile in many of its dishes, so everything comes off too sweet. read more

What a hidden gem! Found it while making a Binny's run and I'm so happy I did! They have a great lunch special. $10.95 for a dish with rice and two egg rolls. I ordered the panang curry with tofu and white rice. My husband ordered pad see eeiw with beef. We weren't sure what to expect for the price, but the food was delicious. We ordered the Panang Curry and the chicken was a bit rubbery/tasted artificial which was already a bit concerning as that could be a sign of the meat not being fresh. This is the first and absolutely the last time I will ever go to this place. I had some business nearby and saw the sign. Having lived in Thailand for 8 years, I'm always looking for new places in America where I can get my favorite Thai dishes. A classic Thai dish is pad kra pow. This is a thai basil fast fried with onions, peppers, hot chilis... very fragrant from the basil and fast cooking. It is usually served with rice on the side. I asked for it with moo (pork) and kai daw, which is a fried egg on top. The waiter was not Thai and had no idea what I was asking for. When he went to the kitchen, he asked if I wanted a scrambled egg on top! I knew I was in trouble then! I said to forget the egg. The food came out in a soupy brown sauce. No chili, little basil, flat awful taste. I asked the waiter if the cook was Thai, he said the Thai cook was off today! I told him that he needed to tell his boss that this food is not Thai... which he told be that it was an Americanized version! I can't speak about the other dishes here... all I know is that I will never try them!!! read more

This was by far the most disgusting wonton soup I have ever eaten...and I have eaten many bowls of wonton soup in my lifetime. I stopped at Tasty Thai after a manicure next door. I had gone to the neighboring (fantastic, btw) Thai restaurant, Green Basil a day earlier and was seriously craving curry rice with shrimp. I thought, hey, I'll try this place, see what's it's like. Anyways, I got back to the office with my lunch and opened the soup...the wontons are so huge you need a knife to cut it, seriously? They were like 2x's the size of wontons at most Thai restaurants. So that was a huge mess. Then I open up the wonton and it's a ground up shrimp blob. It both looked and tasted disgusting. I tried one and threw it all out. I would give this place less than a star if I could. The inside of the restaurant was very dated and musty. I should have turned around and walked right back out. While the rice was edible enough the soup was gross enough to keep me away from this place. $17 down the drain. Better places in the area for Thai, for sure! Don't waste your money here. read more

This restaurant was fine, but in no way was it authentic. I ordered the cashew dish with tofu, and it looks great, but it tasted like sweet and sour sauce all over the tofu with added cashews.
