    Spicy basil chicken lunch special
    Erin C.

Service is friendly, and while there weren't many other diners, there was a decent stream of pick up orders. They have a lunch special with many choices, that comes with two small egg rolls that were hot, crunchy, and filled with glass noodles and veggies. I got the spicy basil chicken with white rice. The sauce was savory, salty, and sweet but very balanced when paired with the rice. It was spicy but just enough, the basil wasn't overpowering, and the chicken was browned but still tender.

Found a little hole in the wall and 90% of the business is for takeout, but the food is delicious and you can taste the freshness, great quality

    Huge portion

Ordered the Thai chicken fried rice, Tom yum soup via Uber eats. The Thai chicken fried rice comes with a promotion that buy 1 get 1 free. Total spent around $40. Thai chicken fried rice is pretty good. Portion is huge that I only finish half of the portion. It has more ingredients than I thought. A lot of chickens and vegetables which I like it. But the Tom yum soup is not so tasty. I don't like the soup. So rated 4/5. BTW - I got my food pretty quick, it's still very hot when I got my food. I'll try to dine in next time.

I'll preface this with that this was a delivery order, we had to reheat, so foods not as fresh as it could be. They didn't not have Pad kee mao on the menu, so the closest thing was hot and spicy noodles, which was probably the same thing. Spicy level isn't as bad as other Thai restaurants, but that's totally fine with me! It's on the sweeter side, and basil flavor is lacking. Lad nar, we got for the kids, cuz they love fat rice noodles with a light sauce. It was just as expected, the kids really liked it. Spicy catfish is always a go-to order for my husband whenever we go to a Thai restaurant. It's always so spicy, which it's true here also. Fish fillet is not coated in batter, which is different than what you'd expect with other fish dishes in Americanized Asian foods. Flavor was great. Would save the sauce to eat with rice. Definitely on the spicier side, but still enjoyable. Pad Thai was definitely our least favorite dish. It doesn't have a strong sour tamarind flavor, and it's way too sweet. Almost like tomato sauce/ketchup noodles. Which isn't bad but just not the Pad Thai I expected. No crushed peanuts or bean sprouts or at least I could tell. But the shrimp was good, it's crunchy and sweet. We enjoyed the Thai platter, as there were a variety of appetizers. The crab rangoon was too sweet, definitely missing the cream cheese sour flavor, but there were a lot more spice/flavors to it. Besides the sweet flavor, I think the weird spice mix was quite interesting. We also had Tom kha. Not shown in the picture. The Tom kha was also missing the sour flavor, so it came off too sweet. But the coconut flavor was very strong, which was great. Veggies inside were delicious too. Overall, Thai food here is missing that acidic zesty flavor profile in many of its dishes, so everything comes off too sweet.

What a hidden gem! Found it while making a Binny's run and I'm so happy I did! They have a great lunch special. $10.95 for a dish with rice and two egg rolls. I ordered the panang curry with tofu and white rice. My husband ordered pad see eeiw with beef. We weren't sure what to expect for the price, but the food was delicious. We might have found our new favorite lunch spot!

Good for the price. Drunken noodles were great. Pad Thai no. The wings were bad. Good staff.

Establishment is very bright and clean. Making it even better is a drive thru window for orders you call in and can pick up at the window. Yay! We chose to dine in. We ordered the Mongolian beef dinner with jasmine rice. Plus the Barbecue Korean Beef dinner. Additionally an order of egg drop soup was large enough for two to share. We also had the crispy egg rolls. The portions were large, nicely presented and absolutely delicious. Beef very tender and I was very happy to have the entree presented with just the right amount of onion. Lately other places we've tried have presented a very small amount of beef and way too much onion to fill in what they are chintzing you on. Couldn't be more impressed and very excited to have found our place. We can't wait to try other entrees. They are open for lunch and dinner - I don't think this restaurant will disappoint!

It is a noisy place full of older customers that know everyone in the place. Lots of customers hugging the staff, talking with the owners, and other tables. A great atmosphere if you are a local. One of the owners even suggested carrot cake for our desert. Really good by the way. We did see a number of regulars tables that were receiving complimentary appetizers. I get it, but you should treat first time customers the same to make them repeat customers? The issue was with service and how we were treated after we had to get service. Our server disappeared once our main course was ordered. Yes the place was packed, but the server made sure she kept on touching base with the regulars tables and we received less attention. Well like no attention. Well like we had to go to the bar to one of the owners to get our check. Well and when my significant other tried to comment that we had a lack in service the owner walked away from us. She turned a really nice first time experience into a never going back and write a bad review experience. (And my significant other was mad the whole evening, which made the event worse for me.) So even though I wanted to at least give them a 2 star review I had to tie it back to the tip we gave of $1. Regretfully we will not be going back to The Green Room.

I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu, the staple menu item I order each time I visit. My guest ordered the Mongolian beef. My pad Thai came out visibly different than times past. It looks almost watered down and the tofu was not coated and seared with the beautiful crust it normally has. I ate it and it tasted... sour. Normally this pad Thai leans savory over sweet, but this time it just straight up tasted sour. The tofu was nothing to write home about, which is typically not the experience I have here. The Mongolian beef tasted like it had more sear on the meat than actual beef. It tasted over-charred. The rice and veggies were good, but that's kind of a simple feat. I ordered the Pomegrantate martini which was good. The space was also very hot, I understand it's a hot day and a busy restaurant but my legs were dripping in sweat the entire hour we were there. I will give them a try again, because I know from previous experiences the pad Thai was usually great. That tofu is what I keep coming back for! Hopefully next time it'll meet my expectations. This was this past weekend on Friday night.

A) friendly and attentive service B) salty food C) stir fry noodles with customizable options D) fortune cookies If you answered one or all of the above, Big Bowl may be for you! Unfortunately, for me, selection B led to the disappointment in my meal. My chicken pad see ew was unpalatably salty, and the cooked Thai basil (?) added too much of a licorice flavor to the dish. The stars are for the elements my family enjoyed: the kids' buttered noodles and chicken noodle soup (both $6.95 and come with a drink!), option to add custom vegetables and noodle type to my husband's stir fry chicken, and my lavender lemon drop martini was smooth, sweet, and tart. Fernando was a solid waiter. Parking lot outside is limited, especially at peak hours, so you might have to drive over past the neighboring steakhouse.
