Overhyped. Cutesy little restaurant and when I mean little I mean little. Barely about 10 tables inside give or take then outside seating. We came yesterday 103 weather but only got outside seating. Asked the server for recommendations on rolls and when she mentioned then, trying to find them on the menu was a disaster. She mentioned on her iPad it's in order but the names of the rolls on the menu was just everywhere making it so hard to pin point. Ordered two sake bombs I was told they didn't have large hot sakes and large beers otherwise I would have done that. Ordered the power of e and firecracker and let me tell you... idk who the sushi chef was but fix the presentation. If a roll comes with jalapeño you cut thin slices not thick slices and uneven through the whole roll. You add it for flavor not to have a crunchy hard jalapeño in your mouth. The rolls were cut all different sizes. Thin and thick slices . Then the power of e $23 has unagi and albacore on top you'd assume it's throughout all pieces for that price. I noticed all the pieces I ate didn't have any albacore so I told my server and she mentioned "it's like the rainbow roll, only some have it on there" like whaaaat.. thankfully she took it back in and had the girl chef fix it cause I was not going to pay $23 for an unagi roll with unseeable raw fish. Pricing on menu, I'd rather go to kru for that where you know everything is amazing. Parking sucks so small you mainly have neighborhood parking. Again just all around overhyped. Service was ok. Honestly felt like there were more staff running between the restaurant next door and this one, than customers! That said, the food was delicious. One call out...the sushi chefs wearing plastic surgical gloves didn't win me over. Especially when one of them decided he was NOT going to wear his! Odd. read more

This is my first time coming to this place. I really enjoy being outside; it looks so pretty. They also have heaters in case anyone is cold, and they can turn them on for you. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed the Spicy Tuna Roll and the Crispy Chicken Bento Box. The service was quick, and the staff was friendly. read more

We have been wanting to try Tokyo table for a while and we are so glad we did! The fish is incredible, and very fresh. Great menu, ambiance, and food. We will definitely be back and this is now one of our favorite sushi spots. We reserved a table for 4 people. Waited to be seated outside because initially we wanted to be inside but the host was willing to accommodate. We waited about 10 minutes for the setup outside because the ambiance was nice. It was cold but they have good outdoor heaters. Outside was warmer compared to inside since they had the AC on. We ordered 15 pieces of sashimi. This was one of the best Sashimi we had in an awhile. We ordered two hand rolls of Spicy Tuna. The fish tased super fresh and cold. The fish was so delicious and spicy. My finance and I enjoyed it. We ordered 4 rolls: CR7 Salmon Lover Rainbow TT And guess what, no left overs to take home because we devoured everything. This place does not disappoint at all. The awesome thing is fresh fish, nice cut and good size rolls. Not skinny or chunky. They are perfect. They don't over do their spicy mayo or unigi sauce over their rolls at all. It was balanced for us to enjoy. Oh and they have heated toilets that comes with bidets. Haha! So cool. If I have to say something bad about this place, it would just be the parking. Plenty of side parking but tight spaces. There is back parking available but limited. Some friends suggested this place last night. It was close to their house. What a hidden gem! They have an extensive menu for cocktails, sushi rolls, and delicious sashimi, and Nigiri options. We started with the pesto pepper fin, which was a unique twist served a fried jalapeños...yum! The staff was very accommodating. The restaurant was full. We sat outside, but there were lots of heaters to keep us warm. Looking forward to visiting this establishment again soon. read more

Excellent! Beautiful restaurant with large covered outdoor patio. Staff is warm and welcoming. Then comes the food. It's amazing. Start with pan fried gyoza. Arrived hot with six to the order. Then try the ahi with pesto and fried jalapeño. Incredible. The rolls are really large. Three is us shared three rolls plus the gyoza and ahi with pesto and it was more than enough. I love in Roseville and will go out of my way to return. It's well worth the drive! read more

AMAZING FOOD AND STAFF!! We came in during their soft opening and we couldn't have been happier! The sushi nigiri were out of this world and the sushi rolls were creative and not only full of flavor but also texture (I love a little crunch to my rolls). Our server was very friendly and attentive! She was so sweet; checking on us to make sure everything was good or seeing if we needed anything. The aesthetics were so cute! Creative circular flat lights hung from the ceiling and the outdoor patio is ready for winter with overhead heat lamps and fans for warmer weather. The patio enclosure was really neat! Excellent service, incredible food, and gorgeous aesthetic. The bathrooms are a delight, almost worth coming here for that experience alone. Takes a moment to get oriented how to use the toilet but once you do, you'll be calling in a delivery order to the bathroom. Overall, this is a hot spot. Highly recommend. read more

Randomly came here for lunch with my sister during the soft opening week. Right away we were met with a friendly smile from a lady that was cleaning the front of the restaurant with her children. She walked us inside to meet the front hostess. Right away, we were gasping at all of the jaw dropping interior design of the restaurant. We were so distracted with all of the details around us. We were surprised by how much thought was put into the atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant- From the plants to the Japanese decor, it was giving date night vibes. Customer service was A++. We were seated and served drinks quickly. The servers were so sweet, professional and attentive! The food was served quickly and cooked to perfection. The gyoza was not an overcooked crunchy as many other restaurants tend to serve it that way. This was a perfect small crunch and boil in the middle. I have never had a mix of both chicken/pork and it was not overpowered by the pork flavor at all. It tasted clean and had just the right amount of flavor. The Sac Town roll was recommended by staff. When it came out we were blown away by the presentation of it. I could not believe the ginger was shaped like a rose and additional carnations were added to it- GORGEOUS. In addition, it tasted just as good as it looked. Im definitely taking my husband here and recommending this spot to everyone to try. I will be coming back! read more

Extremely disappointing experience. We waited over an hour just to get a table inside when we were told it was a 30 minute wait before finally settling for an outside table because it was taking so long. While the appetizers were good, it took another full hour for our sushi rolls to arrive. When we asked to cancel them and just get the check, suddenly the rolls showed up. In total, it took us 3 hours from the time we arrived to when we left. The food wasn't worth the wait, and the service was so frustrating. Would not recommend. read more

it is my 3rd time going to Tokyo Table. The food is wonderful. the wait staff is well traîner and efficient. Regretfully I am going to give them 2 stars only because their réservation system really sucks. Everytime i called i had an answering machine I left each time at least 3 Voice mail messages asking to confirm. Finally I got a human Voice and each time I made a réservation when we got to the restaurant there was no réservation under our name, the wait is too long to stick around for longer than an hour when it is their mistake. Each time was a repeat. If they do not want a réservation they should say it but it is required. Finally last night after 3 voice messages and 2 emails I did get someone to return my call, but they could offer a table for 1 hour later than I asked for 4 days aga or 1 hour earlier, and i was told that I only have 2 Hours to have that table because it was booked for later. Parking is very difficult, better to be dropped by a ride then walking in the dark for 3 blocks. Also they would not take 4 credit cards for the entire check only 2. Very inconvénient way to do business for a party of 4 who just want to split the check in 4 . I will not return to this restaurant. Not business friendly. read more

Cute little restaurant. Has indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating was super cute. Came in yesterday at around 7:40pm. They were busy so I expected a wait. However, when we first walked in, someone told us the host will be right with us. Host never came and we waited about 10-15 minutes with no service until our kind waitress asked if we've been helped and seated us. Her service was good, not sure about the others. After ordering, we waited a good 30 minutes before our food had even came out, while other tables after us got our food. Food itself was okay. I think the poke salad was the best, more than the rolls. Definitely not worth the 1 hour wait all in all for sushi again. Hope they get more organized. read more

If I could give more stars I would amazing customer service, I believe Sin(unsure spelling), was our waitress, & she was so kind, informative and helpful. Our food arrived and it was high quality and made with such depth flavors. I love each bite, it was refreshing with pop of flavors in each bite!!!! And each sashimi just melted into my mouth. The side dishes were fresh and delicious as well!! Our waitress was kind to offer mochi for dessert and who wouldn't say yes??! This is our new spot for sushi now, I def recommend and you won't regret it! read more

Our experience at Tokyo Table was simply phenomenal (with 1 minor error). The food was great, and the atmosphere was very clean and modern. The service was at 10 , it was amazing. The only real improvement to make was that prices were a couple dollars too high. Bathrooms were clean, and everyone is so nice. Highly recommend if you are in Sacramento.
