    Sushi and sashimi lunch special
    Ness S.

We got the Sushi and sashimi lunch special. I would rate the quality of the meal as pretty good. Not great, not bad. The salmon was better than some of the other nigiris. The role was decent. I look forward to returning and trying some of the other dishes.

Returning to an old stomping ground. It's been way too long and learned that it's under new ownership. The menu has evolved to include Korean food as well as Japanese. The sushi menu contains some of the standards but also some interesting combinations. We started with the gyoza, seaweed salad and spicy crab salad. Only complaint on the appetizers was that one of the gyoza was pretty cold on the inside, indicating that it was most likely frozen at some point earlier in the day. Seaweed salad was good, fairly standard. Spicy crab was solid. Sushi order consisted of Playboy, Lovely Lady and Air Force. All were very good, but a heavy on the cream cheese with the Air Force roll. Solid service. No complaints here.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! The service is so good and the food is delectable. They recently redid their interior and it looks absolutely amazing. We always come here for birthdays and other celebrations- such a perfect restaurant.

Ordered via Door Dash and it was phenomenal!!! This place is MONEY!!!! So many good sushi rolls !! I chose 5 random rolls. Only one traditional (California) and the rest specialty... omg Taste bud explosion!! Thank you for making my Saturday night fabulous. Covid sucks but Tokyo Sushi rocks!!

Amazing little spot with exceptional service. The portions are super filling and the flavors are off the charts. This is a must visit for your sushi cravings!

New owner with new menu and hands down the best sushi restaurant in town. Everything we had last night was excellent: Stuffed Avocado, yellow tail jalapeño, Salmon Citrus, Squid and the Sushi boat. We are going back this weekend for MORE. The restaurant is cozy and clean, and the staff is friendly. Found my FAVORITE SUSHI restaurant.

First, as of about 9 months ago, this place is under NEW OWNERSHIP! I had been hear before Mr. Kim took over and it was just another average Sushi Restaurant. Now, it rivals any of the sushi places I have been in the Columbus area. The cuts of sushi are hearty. Mr. Kim takes pride in freshness, and that's what matters when it comes to sushi. We cant't wait to go back!

We were happy to try this place out since we heard it has new owners. The family was wonderful - very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed some lunch bento boxes and a few sushi rolls. Prices are reasonable and the fish fresh. The menu has lots of different options as well - udon soup, bibimbap, and other Asian fare and desserts. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been by in a while.

WOW, WOW, WOW Powell's hidden jewel!!! Explosion in your mouth!!! This new place will be my number one, go-to choice of sushi, the authentic and casual ambiance, as well as the great variety of fresh fish. Sushi chef is a extremely personable and knowledgeable . This lovely heart sushi was very impressive and amazing, taste was indescribable.

The reservation was for 6pm, we showed up around 5:50 and were sat right away but waited until about 6:20 to order and begin getting soups/salads. Personally I love the mushroom soup and ginger salad, it is SALTY (which I love) but may be too much for others. As for the hibachi part, the cook does a fun show with all the staples - big fire, onion volcano, tossed rice in our mouths! He was very nice and we had a fun time! I ordered the strip and shrimp with fried rice and asked for the strip medium. The portions were HUGE and the food just kept coming. Fried rice, veggies, and shrimp were very yummy but also very salty (no complaints from me!). The strip was definitely more on the rare side which is not my preference but there was so much food it wasn't a huge deal. I had also ordered a tea with my meal and the servers were very attentive with the tea and water giving plenty of refills. For two people, including drinks, we thought the total price was pretty decent for a night out! Overall it was good service, good food, and a fun night! They do use TONS of butter and soy sauce so be cautious if you have a sensitive stomach but I would recommend for a fun dinner night spot!

Another man was served filet instead of strip steak. Random chair was in bathroom (strip club mint style). The mistakes were corrected. Comped the bottle of sake. Man got strip steak and filet. Lotta meat. Chair might still be in bathroom but not a big deal. Nice to see scallops on the menu. The group took advantage of that. Where are they from? Local ? Farm raised? The birthday boy got a delicate dish of orange sorbet. Great cleanser. This restaurant thrives on adversity and culture. Will be back next year most likely. Enter the appetizer: a colossal bowl of Edamame, those humble soybeans elevated to a salty symphony. But wait, the final play was yet to come. The Philadelphia Roll a triumvirate of smoked salmon, cucumber, and cream cheese graced the table. Was it merely a sushi roll? No, my friends, it was the culinary equivalent of a Hail Mary pass--bold, daring, and executed to perfection. The finest in Dublin? Without question. In conclusion, what we witnessed was not just dining; it was an epicurean event, a celebration of flavor and craftsmanship. Truly, a performance worthy of standing ovation. Bravo!

I was meeting friends at North Market for dinner, so I grabbed take away from Song Lan. I typically order their rolls but heard great things about their other entrees and decided to get the Chicken Hibachi. Generous portion of white chicken meat in classic hibachi sauce with carrots, onions, broccoli, zucchini, and snow peas. Also came with white rice and a salad! Super filling and had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. I also ordered the Coconut Shrimp roll (minus mango due to allergies) to share with friends. It was okay - I'm sure it would be a lot better with the mango. I'd likely get their Spicy Tuna Roll in the future if I want a smaller one - or I'd go for my favorite of the Angry Lobster Roll or the Pink Lady Roll. The salad was a bit different, with very finely chopped bacon bits mixed in. It was interesting, though not necessarily my favorite. The soup was just okay and had a bit of an MSG-heavy taste. For the main, I asked for my steak medium rare, but it came out closer to well done, which was disappointing. That said, the portion size is pretty generous, so in terms of value, you do get a lot of food. I also ordered the egg yolk-based sauce on the side, which is quite rich and heavy, but actually pairs really well with the steak and shrimp. As for the experience, they do the classic flaming onion, but that's about all the entertainment you'll get. The restaurant itself also felt pretty bare, without much decor or atmosphere.
