    Sushi and sashimi lunch special
    Ness S.

We got the Sushi and sashimi lunch special. I would rate the quality of the meal as pretty good. Not great, not bad. The salmon was better than some of the other nigiris. The role was decent. I look forward to returning and trying some of the other dishes.

Returning to an old stomping ground. It's been way too long and learned that it's under new ownership. The menu has evolved to include Korean food as well as Japanese. The sushi menu contains some of the standards but also some interesting combinations. We started with the gyoza, seaweed salad and spicy crab salad. Only complaint on the appetizers was that one of the gyoza was pretty cold on the inside, indicating that it was most likely frozen at some point earlier in the day. Seaweed salad was good, fairly standard. Spicy crab was solid. Sushi order consisted of Playboy, Lovely Lady and Air Force. All were very good, but a heavy on the cream cheese with the Air Force roll. Solid service. No complaints here.

Ordered via Door Dash and it was phenomenal!!! This place is MONEY!!!! So many good sushi rolls !! I chose 5 random rolls. Only one traditional (California) and the rest specialty... omg Taste bud explosion!! Thank you for making my Saturday night fabulous. Covid sucks but Tokyo Sushi rocks!!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! The service is so good and the food is delectable. They recently redid their interior and it looks absolutely amazing. We always come here for birthdays and other celebrations- such a perfect restaurant.

Amazing little spot with exceptional service. The portions are super filling and the flavors are off the charts. This is a must visit for your sushi cravings!

New owner with new menu and hands down the best sushi restaurant in town. Everything we had last night was excellent: Stuffed Avocado, yellow tail jalapeño, Salmon Citrus, Squid and the Sushi boat. We are going back this weekend for MORE. The restaurant is cozy and clean, and the staff is friendly. Found my FAVORITE SUSHI restaurant.

First, as of about 9 months ago, this place is under NEW OWNERSHIP! I had been hear before Mr. Kim took over and it was just another average Sushi Restaurant. Now, it rivals any of the sushi places I have been in the Columbus area. The cuts of sushi are hearty. Mr. Kim takes pride in freshness, and that's what matters when it comes to sushi. We cant't wait to go back!

We were happy to try this place out since we heard it has new owners. The family was wonderful - very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed some lunch bento boxes and a few sushi rolls. Prices are reasonable and the fish fresh. The menu has lots of different options as well - udon soup, bibimbap, and other Asian fare and desserts. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been by in a while.

Nice people. Great meal. Pleased that they cared as much as they did. Found a new sushi spot in Powell.

I will say that the prices are a little much, especially if you're not someone that eats a lot. And if you decide to take whatever food that you have even if it's just the broth home, you have to pay an extra $14 for it. There is no meal options for people who had gastric bypass or can't eat a lot of food at once. Other than that, it is really tasty and delicious many options even vegan ones! The price for dinner is comparable with the mom&pop places in Columbus but with much worse broth and meat quality. They don't have strainer spoons for the hotpot :(

Thank you for bringing me back home when I'd sit on the floor at my mother's third oldest brother's house... mom had eight brothers and sisters and the oldest was as old as her father could be... almost 20-30 years older, actually...she was pretty lonely with no close-in-age sibling around... It was my first visit to Korea and have not been back. But it brings me back. 해물 순두부찌개 (Spicy soft tofu stew with seafood Haemul sundubu-jjigae)...it has the dashi-approach around the fringe of its flavor profile... dimensions! This week was the week I was supposed to get married but my ex Fiance backed out of the whole proposition all together... before you ask. Yes. "Marriage" was actually his idea... me? Well. But please... father I have failed you for 20 years, please I need you to to guide my sword and I cannot do it alone. It's the broth. Before anyone says "high prices for non premium ingredients"... I say hold on... it comes down to: labor and love. Korean cooking is not just ingredients alone. It is the salt. It is the hand kneading, flavor, and marrying of such (pun). There is more than a spirit in the cooking. More than just the soul. But emotion. Maybe Koreans feel this in our blood. Google the word "Han" and maybe you'll get just a drop of taste on the tongue to taste and see. This is a one woman show. Plus her kitchen staff or just one helper in the whole restaurant. You know most people would turn away but you count on the hope that there will be that -one- who will read it, and stay. So yes, you.. dear one. I am so glad you heard about it... P.s. The Yuk-Gae Jiang has real bone broth. Like Cow knuckle, dude. It solidifies into one pure block of collagen when you fridge the takeout into the next day. ::mic drop::

The $35 beef bulgogi was barely enough for one person and only came with a small serving of banchan. We also ordered the edamame appetizer, which was $9 and seemed like a very basic from-frozen preparation. The atmosphere was a bit odd as well. There's a large fish tank in the middle of the restaurant, but it didn't have any fish in it, which made the space feel unfinished. Service also fell short. We had to flag our waitress down multiple times, and she only checked on our table once during the meal. While the food itself was enjoyable, the combination of high prices, small portions, and inattentive service makes it difficult for me to justify returning.

She helps change the grates, and even placed an order for meat for us! The wait staff is also super kind and helpful. Offering recommendations if you don't know what to try, and being super responsive. Our drinks were never empty and the meat was always on our table! The quality of meat/seafood is very good.
