Shopping Experience at Nordstrom Racks…read more I am not a shopper! I don't enjoy walking from store to store in search of specific things or gifts, especially during the holidays! I want to walk into no more than three or four stores, get everything I need, and be done with it. That said, I enjoy walking through my favorite stores and checking out the goods without any specific purchase in mind. Sometimes, I find something I wasn't planning to buy, but I realize it could help me or make someone close to me very happy. I know this sounds confusing, but I think you get what I mean! Anyway, Nordstrom Racks is one of the stores I enjoy walking through. They are organized and carry well-known brands, which is not as important to me as it is to many others. This specific location is one of those stores that we visit often, and I have found and bought many items here. The staff has been helpful whenever I needed help, and we've never had any issues shopping here. The prices for certain items may be somewhat higher here than some other comparable stores, but if you do not have the time to go from store to store hoping for a better price, then it is worth it. The only drawback is that the racks can get very messy during busy shopping periods like the holiday season. So, it is always best to visit and get what you need before the crowds rush in and mess things up!

They both went above & beyond to assist us in finding the perfect size and fit, making sure that our shopping experience was both enjoyable and successful. Both Amin and Hayden showed craftsmanship in their hospitality, and how not only took care of us and the other customers perusing and browsing around. After describing what I preferred for style, and the minimalism of outfits, they provided suggestions which show their evident passion for what they're there for, and their keen eyes for style - which made me feel confident in my personal choices. We were there primarily to browse, and to see what they had for the season, in addition, to checking out their clearance/sales from the past seasons. In a world where shopping can sometimes feel like a rushed and impersonal chore, Amin & Hayden made us feel seen, valued, and understood. I don't really visit countless boutique stores in my lifetime, but never have I felt so comfortable and so well-attended to - in this kind of upscale setting! Hayden helped get all my measurements, and talked me through the whole process of finding my fit (I was on the heft-ier side, though I much prefer the athletic slim fit on my upper body) - in addition to showing me new colors and styles authentically. I never felt that he was pushing a sale on me, as this young man is plain passionate about his job! I ended up trying on an oversized flannel to add to my outerwear collection, and I appreciate their assistance while I was trying it on, as well as providing a smooth transaction with my purchase - and got my order shipped to my house, and voila! It arrived at my house, and once I tried it on, it fit perfectly! I wholeheartedly recommend Bonobos to anyone in search of quality clothing, and an unmatched shopping experience. When I walked in, the one staff member was helping someone. No problem, I needed to peruse through the clothing anyway. After that customer went into the dressing room, I gave the worker a few mins to come over...but she didn't. So, I walked up to her and said, "hi, may I ask you some questions?" She actually looked me up and down and said, "what?" I asked her my question, to which she certainly had limited knowledge of the answer for. I also asked her what style the mannequin's pants were and she didn't know. Okkkkkaaay. You don't wanna look? Cool! I ended up leaving, which was exceptionally disappointing, because I had built my whole trip up north around, stopping at the store. I was really looking forward to buying my guy some new clothes, but it wasn't in the cards. Not being greeted when walking into a store is one thing, but being just short of eye-rolled is another. We asked one of the associates, a young man who was organizing shelves, and he was quick to help us get what we needed from the back room. As it sometimes happens, after our visit, we had to return to exchange one of the items for a different size; again, not a problem. The associates were all very helpful in getting us what we needed. So, nice store, good location, excellent service, and good products at reasonable prices!

They each had a yellowish white spot near the shoulder. At first we were offered 40% discount on FUTURE purchases. After talking with the Manager of customer service we were given an additional 20% off the purchase of these shirts. I had purchased these off the internet with an initiall 20%, so yes, her total offer was 40% off. My friend kept his shirt, as it was dark colored and his wife thought she might be able to get the grease out. If she could not, it was near the bottom and he could tuck the shirt in. My husband's shirt was lighter color and I did not want to attempt to get a grease spot out of a $100.00 shirt, so it was returned. Sadly, both men loved the beautiful shirts and they fit well. But I could not wrap my head around both shirts being stained in near the same spots. The only thing that comes to mind is that they may have been stained in the packing process. ie, was a machine recently oiled, etc. Not happy with the way the claim was initially handled, why would I want 40% off a Future order, I highly doubt there will be any future orders.

I've bought a lot of their men's clothing over the years, including from their Carmel shop, but I think the women's sweaters might make a nice gift for my wife. The staff people seemed nice, and the woman helping me pointed out a couple of ways we could take advantage of available discounts, etc. She was proactive about getting other colors in my size and did the same for another shopper. We ended up buying 5 things including a blazer for my teen son.
