We are regulars at Tommy's but We have learned not to visit on a holiday weekend. The cut the staff and then more people arrive and they end up not having enough staff. This visit the server was pleasant took drink orders and we were ready to order our dinner. She was happy about that as she had about 6 tables to serve which is not the norm. After she took our order she went to the next table and was there awhile taking their's. Well we waited close to a half hour for the meal. When I got her attention she checked and came back to us she put a rush on it. Which to us meant they had not even started it. So we decided we should leave. A manager arrived told us if the meal is another ten mins would we wait. Ok hint it was not made. We left. Never before have we had to do this. Manager handed me a gift card. Nice. But try not to keep customers waiting. Keep the staff. You end up busier then you think. read more

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. This place is Devine. When I stepped into the restaurant I was immediately hit with good vibes. I was a little bit skeptical because when I took a first look at the menu, there were so many options. For a place like this, you wouldn't think that they would have pizza and sushi. I came to this restaurant with my aunt and my grandparents and we all had an amazing lunch. I ordered the cherry Coke ribs. My aunt got the Aji tuna wrap, and my grandparents got a sausage and onion pizza. The ribs were unbelievable, they fell off the bone and the sauce was delicious. My aunt said that the Aji tuna wrap was amazing and the Aji tuna was seared to perfection. My grandparents said that the pizza was one of the best pizzas that they have had in their whole life. We were visited many times by the manager of the restaurant and he came to talk to us to see if we had any complaints. We surely did not, and he was super kind to all of us. The staff here is wonderful, so kind. I would definitely recommend this place if you are struggling to find a good lunch spot. So this is my 3rd time visiting here. Each time I'm seated really quickly compared to the amount of people around me which is not a complaint. They have a ton of tables. Now the issues that provoked my review is the quality of the food. Visit one I had the seasonal open faced turkey. It was 3 out of 10 only because they used a good cranberry sauce and marshmallow dip. The second time I had a burger which was ok but not worth 22 bucks. The third time (last night) I had a Cali Burger with Greek fries. And here's the issue i want to share. I expressed my desire to hold the onions and my server heard and understood me. Now this time the food and drinks took really long to arrive. When then did, I dug in! As I chewed my burger that was kinda bland and falling apart I crunched on an onion. Almost gagging I stoped spit out the burger and waiting for my server. After 5 mins of staring at the plate I finally asked the nice blond lady server next to us to get our server. She did. I explained my situation and my server said ok I'll get you another. Now I'm an hour in total from being seated to now sending my burger back. Now after 10 mins I get a new order. Which was ok not good or bad just a basic burger with avocado and a chili sauce. Now I was visited by 2 different men I assume were managers asking how was my meal now and sorry for the mix up. I responded that it's. The last one said " well you know what they say ! Second times a charm". I said really? Ok well I'm glad I didn't vomit all over table when I chewed the onion I didn't want" he simply smiled and walked away. So to be honest the drinks here were not good, had a cranberry margarita which was more ice and juice than any tequila which was 12 bucks. For ice and juice. The beer was good but they don't make it there In total I wanted to let everyone know this place gives off yards house vibes without the food or drink quality. They will seat you quick. And lastly I feel that if the managers wanted to make it right they would have comped my 21 dollar burger or at least my beer ! But nope! All smiles and sorries after so long and mediocre food. Needless to say even though this place is 3 mins from my home we will be headed back to Yards for good drinks and good food. Good luck tommies. A few there also didn't like the food. Place is beautiful. The bars are great. However, very disappointed in the food. We were alarmed by the extensive menu. There is no way you can all of those items and preserve the quality of the food. The burger section could be one menu, the sushi menu is another menu, the pizza menu could be another and then they have dinner plates as well. If you go to a really good quality place their menu is always small. This menu was two large pages and then there is a specialty smaller menu. You can't be great at pulled pork , sushi rolls , sashimi, burgers and pizza! The wings themselves lacked flavor. Four of the wings were under the sautéd onions which made them very soggy and moist due to the steam and suffocation from the onions. Comes with a long hot, therefore the addition of Buffalo and ranch sauce made no sense. Onion rings were decent, nice portion but lacked salt. I got the 50/50 shrimp and calamari. I ate about 5 of them and couldn't even try to eat the rest. I am never one to leave food to waste due to food insecurity as a kid, however they were very soggy. I am still on the fence on whether it was fresh or frozen fish so I can't talk about that. My husband was so disappointed and said he had to work two hours at work to pay for the meal. Stay away! It has been on my list since their original opened in Monmouth county, but I am very upset that I didn't take my 13 year old to Dave's hot chicken like he wanted since we don't have them in our area. Be forewarned. Items are quite pricey too. Again I don't hate spending money, just not wasting it. read more

Overall, our experience (1st time visiting) was mediocre. The service however, we had ZERO complaints. Our waitress was on point and very nice. The food... disappointing. My wife's dumplings were tasty but they completely screwed up the avocado boats with spicy tuna. The avocado was not even spooned out of the skin and I was not given a spoon to do it myself. They sliced it in half, sliced the avocado, mounded the tuna on top but did not loosen the avocado from the skin?!? Tastey after I cut it out and mixed it up but we're paying for the food so why do we have to do the work to eat it? Next I got sashimi... tuna, yellow tail and salmon. They replaced the tuna with shrimp?!? WTH? Also I would HIGHLY recommend not getting their sashimi because it is a huge rip-off! The slices were as thin as a saltine cracker, if not thinner like a wheat thin! And they charge just as much as an actual sushi restaurant for it!?!? Next... we got poke bowls. I got the super yellowtail tuna poke... they replaced the jalapeño with green pepper?!? Again... WTH?!? And there was a lot of green pepper in it!!! Green pepper isn't even part of the dang menu item?!? ... my wife's looked a lot better than mine and appeared to have quite a bit more tuna cubes in it than mine (she had the original tuna poke). Lastly, the acoustics are horrible. We sat across from each other and had to constantly repeat ourselves because the music and talking from everyone and everywhere was making having any kind of conversation difficult. We will not be going back here ever to have a date night... the bar area looked appealing and may be a future spot to go for beer & wings with the guys but that's about it. read more

Stopped in to check it out. the food was good. got a T burger and sweet potato fries. They lost stars due to the service. Ate at the bar was finished asked for the check bartender asked me if it was ok on the card i gave to open tab i said yes but then she never closed it and brought me the slip to sign. Stuck waiting for 10 minites before i got a different bartender to close it out. as for Ambiance the bar looked nice there are plenty of tvs. you can see the kitchen off to the side seemed like a nice place. read more

I was there last Saturday. Much better than the Mt. Laurel location. The staff here is quicker on the draw. The only suggestion I have is that I think (I don't know if he was one of the kitchen staff workers or a Bouncer [if they have one]) but I don't think he should be eating out in the open at in front of the customers. Ordered the gobbler special. Very busy Friday night so we understood that it would take longer for our food to come out. We waited about an hour. Once it came, the turkey on my cobbler was cold and wet. Not enjoyable at all. They said they would replace it and when it came out, everything on the plate was cold. Even colder than the previous plate. The staff was very friendly and the manager was very very nice. But it completely ruined my night as I was exhausted by the time the food came out and just wanted to have a nice meal and go home. Recently moved back from Florida- thiss pizza beats ANYTHING the best of Florida had to offer. The sushi is unexpectedly good. So far we've only eaten in the bar area but service has been wonderful. Restaurant was very nice and clean inside but the food definitely needs some improvement. Multiple items were served cold and lacking taste. Prices don't add up to the quality of the food. Pulled pork Mac and cheese was okay at best. Meatballs were borderline raw and disgusting. Flatbread had too much sauce and lacked crisp. I had to flag down bartender.There was five of them at end of bar talking amongst themselves.were is manager. I do not recommend this restaurant. Customer service is terrible. I was charged $90.63 on my credit card. I paid for my food in cash. The bartender pocketed my money and charged my credit card. I spoke to the manager and he fired the bartender after watching the surveillance footage. However, he told me I have to wait for my reimbursement. I asked for some compensation and he offered me some appetizers, smh!!! Y'all stole $90.63 from me and you want to offer me appetizers, that's an insult. I filed a police report and also reported it to my bank. read more
