    Gluten free Buffalo chicken pizza
    Maddy G.

I am so excited that I found Tommy's Hideaway! The gluten free pizza is the best I've found in the area! It seems like it is always packed, but I haven't had to wait for a table and the service is very fast. The indoor dining space is crowded and busy with TVs and people trying to squeeze between tables, so it's very casual. Definitely worth a stop next time you're in Gulfport!

Perfect evening to enjoy drinks, a pie and music @ Tommy's Hideaway in Gulfport. Pizza was cooked perfect, also enjoyed the Caesar salad (love the dressing) and buffalo wings. Always a good time!

I have a whole new reason to love and crave what they're serving up at Tommy's Hideaway these days -- BURGERS! A friend of mine found a poll on social media recently asking respondents to name the best burgers in the St Petersburg area. The fact that someone named Tommy's and that several people chimed in to wholeheartedly agree demanded that we investigate! I'm delighted to confirm that those folks were correct -- the burgers at Tommy's are incredible! We tried the Classic burger with bacon added and the Western Burger and were completely blown away. Both featured Tommy's short rib-brisket blend burger patties, which when cooked to medium arrived juicy and full of flavor. The Classic is what you'd expect -- cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, etc. The Western, on the other hand, comes topped with cheddar, bacon, BBQ sauce, and a thick onion ring. Our server, Abby, recommended one additional add-on which I wholeheartedly endorse: get it with the BBQ sauce and their remoulade. Life-changing stuff! One other recommendation. When you're ready to try these burgers, try to go on a Wednesday. That's $10 burger night! And come early, because lately it gets busy in there and the burgers fly out of that kitchen! But no matter how busy it gets, you can always count on lots of smiles and tremendous service, all while enjoying Gulfport's signature easy-going atmosphere and good vibes. And now you can count on them serving up something else that's awesome aside from their shrimp scampi pizza, garlic parm wings, and Noni's classic meatballs!

Amazing. Enough said. Don't walk, run to this establishment. Intimate bar with a great vine. Live music on Sundays and a short walk to Gulfport beach.

I think this place is probably normally a 5 star restaurant but there were some issues the night we went. My husband and I ordered beers which came promptly, but our friends ordered a bottle of wine. The waitress came back about 15 mins later to tell us there were no clean wine glasses but she should have some soon. We ordered our food, which came within probably 30 mins. I had the penne alla vodka which was very good and everyone else had pizza which was also good. At this point, there is still no wine or wine glasses for our friends. My husband and I are just awkwardly drinking our beers as our friends have no drinks. When we're almost done eating, we ask the waitress for another update on the wine. She says there are still no clean wine glasses. At this point, our friends are tired of waiting so we ask if they have any other glasses, doesn't have to be wine glasses. The light bulb goes on over her head when we say this and she immediately comes back out with champagne glasses and a bottle of wine. She really should have offered this on her own without us having to ask after like an hour of sitting there. The other issue was some arguments breaking out between the singer and a patron. The singer was taking breaks between every song to talk and one of the men sitting at a nearby table yelled at him to stop talking and just sing. The singer did not like this and replied back that he could talk as much as he felt like. Overall, very awkward... In summary, the food was good and the waitress was nice, but leaving half a party without their drinks for an hour is not a great choice, especially when you have other options for glasses. Also having your singer and patrons arguing doesn't make for the best ambiance.

Tucked away in the heart of downtown Gulfport, Hideaway is a cute small bar/restaurant that checks all the boxes. You can have a casual date night here or bring the kids. As we walked in, everyone's plate looked amazing. We settled on sharing the meatball ricotta appetizer, Pepperoni Pizza and a bacon Cheeseburger. The Meatball Ricotta came out a bit cold so we sent it back. We asked if it could just be taken off our bill. I don't like to send stuff back but if we do I'm kind of over it. We do appreciate them taking it off the bill. They however they heated it back up and sent it back. We didn't try it after they sent it back. The pizza for me was the high point, it was thin and crispy with a little bit of a burnt crust. The burger we asked to be medium but it came out over cooked. I still liked it but my wife did not. Over all the food was Average, a little disappointing after such a strong start. I would come here again, just not with huge expectations. The Staff was super friendly. Our server was a bit all over the place but she might have been over sat. Even still it was a bit annoying, saving grace she was very nice. Hideaway also had live music which was nice.

Yassss hello Gulfport. This Pizza was absolutely delicious. The Clam pizza is a must do. This place also has the best peel and eat shrimp I've ever had in Florida, Ever. Ever ever. Our server was really sweet and the place is very small, but it does have some outside seating in front and on the side. I will return to this place because the food is just super good and the crust for the pizza was just so delicious.

The best little "hideaway" in Gulfport! The pizza and fries were very flavorful! Definitely recommend the garlic parm fries. Brandon the bartender was the best! It was very busy but he was extremely attentive. Will most definitely return when we are in the area. Love that you have the option to be inside or outside for tables but also the bar.

Everything about this fun neighborhood place is great! We've eaten there many times and have never had a bad meal. Wonderful pizzas- from their tasty unique combos to their great classic pepperoni . Their Burrata salad is delicious as are their burgers and fries. Service is always with a smile. They've also got great music, - especially Eddie on Friday nights...folks dance along the side walk and everyone has a grand time. Highly recommend folks check out this relatively new Gulfport favorite.

    Margherita Pizza

Well, while we came on a Friday to try some food we did notice that it was going to be awhile if we wanted to wait sit & eat. We decided to put in an order for a Margarita pizza and were told to go to the bar. One of the waitresses looked at me and asked what I needed. I said I would like to place a to-go order. She went on to say as if she's annoyed that it's going to be awhile and kept saying it. So, while that didn't give me much information to go off of I asked how long is that, 5 hours...30 minutes? Some people's "this is going to be awhile" can differ from others, she decided to let out a giggle and walked away. I got the bartenders attention and put in the order, 20 mins was my "it's going to be awhile". The brick oven seemed like we would get a really good pizza, could've been the busyness, but when we came back in 20 mins, we picked up the pizza and headed back to hotel (a 2 min walk) get back to our room and pizza was cold, edges were burnt and hard. I'm not sure if we got a pizza that was waiting because there is no way it was that cold. We ate what we could and threw the rest out. Positives are it's in a good area and if you are a local I'm sure you'll get better attention.

I come from New Haven and we're known for pizza. Yes. We are. No, seriously, we are. I heard about this place and wanted to try it out. While their pizza's don't come in sizes, it is good! Is it New Haven? No... but to be fair, I don't think anything besides the original is. But, it is really good. I'm glad to see Gulfport having this place on the strip and hopefully they stick around!

It is all what you would find not only in the British Isles but from local markets in Scandinavia, Belgium, Germany, and more. It is a good way to have a pint. As for the meal itself, this is not fancy dining. Again, it is local. There is steak and kidney pie, fisherman's pie, cottacge pie, burgers, salads, and more. Of course, there is even fish and chips. And this is made the way they make it back in the UK. It is fresh fish (haddock) and coated just right. It is rich and tasty and willed with enjoyment. As for the fries, you can make a meal out of these alone even if it was the only thing to have with a beer. It was ideal. Again, freshly made and filled with flavor. People are talking. The team is ideal. The service great. And, as for the price, you can not beat that. It was what to expect. The place is on the main road, but it is hidden right in front of many of us, especially the seasonal tourists. We came here one night for drinks and after seeing the menu knew we had to come back for a meal. The food looked so amazing and it was very hard to choose which option to go with. For the app we had the crab Rangoon dip and the Midwesterner in me was missing my cheese so we also had the Wisconsin cheese curds. The cheese curds were pretty classic and the Parmesan cheese on top added a nice twist. The crab dip... I'm drooling just thinking about it. If you like crab you need to get that app. For the meal, I had the Surf and Turf with coconut shrimp. Sweet Mary was I glad I did. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and the coconut shrimp with spicy Thai sauce was so good. The shrimp had the perfect crunch while the shrimp themselves were tender. They also have a wide variety of drinks and beers which was nice to try some new things. I do also want to do a shout out to Robert who was our waiter. He was phenomenal! Our table ordered a lot of different dishes. We got the bang bang shrimp, which was delicious and probably the highlight of the meal. I got a lobster roll with fries for my entree and it was okay. There was a ton of lettuce on it, which I was not a fan of and the bun split very easily. I ended up just eating the lobster straight off the plate. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion. I'd go with something else. My girlfriend got the Lobster Alfredo and it was not good. The pasta was super doughy and overcooked. The Alfredo sauce itself didn't have a lot flavor either. The whole thing was just not good and once again not worth the price. Our niece got butter noodles and they were the same way. Overcooked and tasted like they'd been sitting in water or something. She didn't eat it. I would skip the pasta entrees. The other item we were disappointed with was the Crab Rangoon dip. It had a fishy tang to it that we weren't a fan of. Someone in our group got the tacos for taco Tuesday and said they were good. Chicken tenders were also yummy. Overall, we had an okay experience.
