Absolutely the worst service. Miserable attitudes and just plain rude. I don't feel welcome at all. Maybe you will.

HORRIBLE customer service. Went with a group of 4. It took them 20 minutes to seat us when there were seats everywhere. My girl and her dad got served food. My son and me were server 20 minutes later. Waitresses just don't give a crap. On top of all that, the food is WAY too expensive for what it is. I literally got brown guacamole served on my plate. I live a mile from the place and I'll never go back there. They lost a local customer. I even tried the place a few times in different occasions to give them a chance. The worst Mexican restaurant ever couldn't believe how loud the employees were being . Me and the wife went out side to order our meal and eat . The two taco salads were supposed to have chicken and mine was carne asada neither one had any meat in them . So by this time we were done and told the waitress we we're leaving and very disappointed.. read more

Toni's is our go to! My husband and I have been coming here for years. You can get a table with a lake view or sit out on the patio. The service is great. Miguel and the staff are wonderful and we love their food! They've got an extensive menu, with many things that you usually won't find at most Mexican restaurants. (like aguachiles) So far everything we've had has been delicious. I can personally recommend the tacos, nachos, taquitos, fajitas, and more! My husband especially likes the (wet) chile verde burrito. I've had the cheese enchiladas twice, but they weren't as good as I expected. They weren't terrible, just not what I was hoping for. They also serve a wide variety of soups daily. No need to wait for a certain day to get the one you want, like most Mexican restaurants. My favorites are the albóndigas and menudo, but then again, I haven't tried them all, they're probably all good! As far as drinks go, their mangonada is really good, and BIG! read more

My family and I were on a little getaway in the Crestline area for Spring Break. We decided that we wanted Mexican food one night and came across Toni's Kitchen on Google. The place doesn't have curb side appeal and we were a little confused on how to enter the building on arrival. It was freezing outside, but the restaurant was warm and inviting as we walked in. The place isn't very big, but the restaurant was full on a Wednesday night. The hostess seated us quickly. The service was great and the food was delicious. Chips and salsa was really good. My husband's Michelada was refreshing and delicious. I had the ground beef Empanada plate. The empanadas were golden brown and the filling was hot and perfectly seasoned. The rice was your typical Spanish rice, nothing too exciting. We had churros for dessert. They were just the right amount of crunchy and evenly coated with cinnamon and sugar served with ice cream. YUM. Service was great. Can't wait to stop in again! read more

I took my family and grand kids to this restaurant and the food was decent. However, as we were all finishing up, an older gentlemen who worked there asked us if we could leave because they desperately needed the table. After spending $80 dollars, I found this rude and unacceptable. It's like saying we don't have enough tables right now, so you've paid your money and we have your tip, now get out. Toni's Mexican kitchen. What can I say, this is the best Mexican food by far on the mountain Ive been going here for well over 10 years and never had a bad experience, or meal. The food is fresh and always great. Everything form the service to the drinks by the way they make some killer margaritas you have to try the Cadillac is my favorite the suevers are always so friendly. Won't got to any other Mexican place on the mountain. This is a real gem right by the lake with an awesome view of Lake Gregory from the patio or outside seating. read more

We came here for dinner, it's a cute place but the service was horrible and the guy was rude and they messed up our order twice then gave us the right order after we asked. When giving us our order the guy was making us feel uncomfortable and rushed as he asked who's order was who's They gave us a frozen flan dessert which was not right. We were staying next door at The North Shore Inn and it was cool to just walk next door for dinner at Toni's. We sat outside and had a view of the lake. It was really nice. Dinner was very good and the service impeccable. Miguel, the owner, was very accommodating. For all the people who are complaining that the menu is expensive should understand that food prices have skyrocketed and that Miguel is paying double for all ingredients. In order to stay in business he must pass on the cost, to some degree, to customers. Blame this horrible economy, not Toni's restaurant! read more

First let me say Tony's Mexican Restaurant food is outstanding. Over the past 30 days we have taken several different friends to our to this restaurant overlooking the lake. We drive up the mountain from Hesperia just to go to this restaurant. However the last two visits to the restaurant have been a very bad experience. Customer service is horrible. It takes forever for us to get our menus, our drinks and even our food. They really are lacking in basic customer service. They may not have enough employees to get the job done but something needs to be corrected. We are no longer going to go to the restaurant if they continue with this pattern a poor customer service. When others sit down after we have been there for 30 minutes and their food is already served and they're leaving the restaurant that's a problem. After 30 minutes we have to walk up and get our own menus and Hunt someone down to get drinks and take her order oh, that's a problem. For such a great place to eat overlooking the lake and the food is so good this is really bad customer service. Someone needs to retrain their waitresses. We are not for sure will be returning however if the manager would like to call me. Reach out to me with your contact information and I'll share more details. After a stressful day, I wanted nothing more than to relax with some great Mexican seafood, a libation and a nice view of Lake Gregory... Toni's delivered in so many ways. I sat at a table on their patio and although it was on a day with an "Extreme Heat Warning," the shade, ceiling fans and natural breezes made for an amazingly comfortable atmosphere. I ordered a Pacifico beer that came out with yummy chips and salsa, and then chose tge Shrimp Fajitas. I sipped and munched leisurely... it was almost like they knew I just wanted to relax. The fajitas arrived about 20 minutes later and the plate was generous and absolutely delicious. Between the great food and never feeling rushed to finish, Toni's will now be my go-to for de-stessing. read more

Ya i dont know. This place was the only place we could get in the day before valentines day, our fault. It took 30 minutes before we got our drinks. The way this place runs is confusing. To me people sitting without drinks means we havent been helped. But half the staff walked by and ignored us. Many tables were helped immediately and we werent. It was so confusing. By the time the waitress set our drinks down we were frustrated and asked for the check. The waitress said she thought we wanted to eat and my friend told her we were tired of waiting for service. She said she would make sure we got our food quickly. We were worried about the ice in the roads and it getting dark, so we just ordered two appetizers. They did come out quickly as promised and were fine. It was just a quesadilla and taquitos. Overall we werent super impressed about the service or food read more
