On the day of my appointment, I filled out a form noting any of my skin concerns and any conditions that could affect my skin. I informed Melody that it was my first time having a facial, and she asked if I wanted her to talk through each of the steps she was going through or if I wanted total relaxation. Given it was my first time, I preferred to have Melody talk me through what was going on. Throughout the entire process, I felt relaxed and comfortable. Melody appears very well versed in what she's doing. Overall, I had a great experience. Of course, my face was a bit red afterwards from the extractions, but after a couple days my face was feeling and looking a lot better than before.

Unfortunately I could not find a sitter for my 1 and 3 year old and she was so calm and patient with me and them. I was so comfortable. She has great bed side manner and is very gentle and assuring. She was so easy to talk to as if you were talking to a close friend. You can tell she try's her best and truly cares about your happiness. My eyelashes and brows turned out great. I do have a disorder called trichotillomania, which caused me to pulled out my eyelashes for various reasons consciously and unconsciously. She had to create a bridge/fan on my bald spots and you would have never know . I go for more of the natural look and I got so many compliments. I had them done right before my third baby and she made me so much more confident when bumming around the house with the kids. I also got sugared and her pulling technique was so swift I felt little pain and she made sure I was ok to keep going unlike other experiences I had where I felt they were rushed to remove the hair and get to the next client. Also, to save time she added trios rather than singles in some areas. There were literally hard clumps of glue in my lashes and many of my natural lashes fell out as a result. She had an appointment come in one hour after mine and we were done a few minutes later. In my experience with other salons that take their time, it takes at least 90 minutes to do a good job. So disappointed and she wanted $100 for a two week fill!

But she complained over and over about my eye moving as if I could control it. She blamed my eye moving on the reason I had lashes falling out after just a few days. Admittedly it may have had to do with other factors but I believe she shorted me on lashes bc she was over dealing with the moving. I say that bc she filled them in for me when i brought it to her attention and it was much fuller than the initial visit. When I went for this last time I let her know it was frustrating that she keeps mentioning my eye. When the service was over I noticed toward the inner eye area.. the right eye had missing lashes. I told her and she said no no it's fine they are there. I had already given her my card to charge when I noticed it. I wish I would have pressed the issue bc now ever time I look in the mirror I think about leaving this review.
