I keep wanting to like this place so I keep going back. It used to be so good! The servers and bartenders have always been very sweet but the food has gone downhill. Loved it! Not a big place but plenty of big TVs for MNF. I can't judge what Sunday football is like but Monday rocked! I got the Kane's chicken sandwich and it was pretty damn good. My wife who is more health conscious got a wedge with grilled chicken. She had a slight sour stomach after. She's not sure but she suspected the boiled egg slices to be the culprit. So, the moral of the story is...Don't eat healthy at a Sports Bar! LOL! Just joking. Actually, if it doesn't pass the smell test then don't eat it. I really like Tony's. However, like all my reviews, it is all about the environment. The night I was there, I drank a beer, ate a wrap and listened to live music. As a single business traveller, I like a place I can sit at the bar and there were plenty of seats open. They have a normal tap selection, but their "tall" is a giant beer and reasonably priced. The bartender was a hot MILF, was very friendly and nice to look at. The place was full of all types and ages of people. It was mostly white people the night I was there (I only point this out, because in Memphis I noticed people often self segregate). There was a guy playing country music on a guitar and he was excellent. If I didn't have to drive back to my hotel, I would have had another beer and listened to him play all night. The menu is a wreck, and the food was incredibly blah. Despite the menu, the place was busy. I went back a few weeks later and I couldn't find a seat and left. Best burger I've had since moving to the Memphis area. On both visits to Tony's the burgers were cooked just as I had ordered. Jasmine, my waitress on both occasions, was friendly and the service was prompt. On the second visit they were having Karaoke and the music was loud but the atmosphere jolly. The Mr. Bacon is a great burger. I don't like this burger as much as the Mac's Burgers and LBOE and cheeseburger, but it is delicious. It's a great game watching atmosphere without having to yell over people to talk to a friend. It's great for SEC football game watching. read more

Tony's is fine for pub food. Large mugs of beer, burgers, good appetizers, and a mostly adult crowd. Food is reasonably priced. I had the Memphis burger with fries and it was good. I will certainly be back again for more food from Tony's. The crowd in the bar was mostly adults but there were a few families with kids. I'm not sure if I would bring my kids here. When they first opened the food and service were great. We would all take our friends for great burgers and drinks. Now I can get better food from vending machines and the customer service would be warmer. The last time I went I ordered a burger with mozzarella sticks and mushrooms (don't judge me), but the burger only came with mustard on it. I told my server and he said "I'm sorry to hear that" and quickly walked away. I did give them two stars because if you're just going for cocktails in the evening it's a pretty decent place and the wait staff is far more facilitating when you're only buying drinks. read more

I went on a Sunday night with some friends who told me this place had the best burger in the Memphis area. They were right. From the first bite it was obvious that this was a great burger. This was no dry patty that relies on your drink to help it go down. The patty was thick and moist, the lettuce crisp and fresh, the bacon was cooked "crispy" per my request...heck...the burger was so big I had to squash it down with both hands to get it compact enough to eat. It was a huge burger. Two grown men could easily split one...but you wouldn't want to look...well...you know...just get a whole one and try to finish it. The fries were top notch too. Service was OK, but it's a sports bar on a Sunday night...I have no complaints in this area. I didn't see the rest of the place so I can't comment on it. The women went to the bathroom while we were there and it must have been spotless or I'd have heard about it when they got back. The burger was great, the fries were also great. I will not go back to this restaurant. We waited 2 hours for our food. And 45 min for our drinks. While they did give us a discount it was a sad 20% off the entré. Not the bill, just the entré the drink was full price. The manager gave only a weak apology after we asked to see him. I will say the food was fine but not worth the wait. read more

Have gone back to Trophy Room a couple of weeks ago and the food is a lot better. Their beer selection is much best, they are a little heavy on IPAs. They need some lager beers but that is my preference. they could become a unique beer place in Collierville with a little effort. read more

My wife and I have never tried this restaurant before, so we went in to have a drink. There's a sign that says "please wait to be seated" so we did. The hostess told us if we wanted to sit outside we needed to order our drink at the bar and then someone would bring it out. We approached the bar and the bartender was rude. He said we had to be seated and served outside. We told him the hostess just told us to come ask him for it. To which he responded "and I just told you that you have to go outside for that." He was extremely rude, caused a scene, everyone stared at us, and we both feel he was intentionally being difficult and tried to make us look stupid. I would have to agree the food here is average at best. But it's just an average place. You can tell when you pull in its not very well kept. This place is AMAZING!!! My girlfriends and I loved it! They had a theme for Wednesday night Women night!! The drink specials were very cheap but tasted fanstatic! I have no clue where the other commenters went but my food was fresh and wonderful! My girlfriends and I order more to take home for us! This place is phenomenal! Family owned, family oriented. A huge menu to choose from but little for us vegetarians. Portion sizes are crazy big but as I suggest to all these places they should offer some greatly reduced portions and some veggie options...the current trend is grilled cheese and tomato soup which I will order every time I go because it's the ultimate comfort food and one which Gordon Ramsey highlighted in his visit to a Paris restaurant in trouble with a slightly dippy daughter/owner who could have cared less about the place her father bought her. Gordon served the soup and grilled cheese over lunch and made over €200.00 in one hour. (Okay, way off subject but you get my drift). The servers, Elizabeth being one, and the bar tenders Nicole, and the new one Justine, are bar tenders of the highest degree!!! Can't say enough good about them. Tony the owner is very congenial and loved by his patrons. Okay, I'm ADHD and just had a squirrel sighting!!! But back to the tomato soup. Don't over cheese the sandwich and just have plain old tomato soup like we grew up with. Forget the chunky tomatoes and croutons in the soup. It's distracting. Great place and I try to eat there at least once a week. On my first visit was made to feel like family and met Tony and some of his family. We were really excited to try a kid friendly place that shows NFL games on Sunday's!my husband took the kids ahead of me and I was running 20 mins late. We live 40 mins away. My husband runs a restaurant and I've worked in one for many years so we rarely leave a bad review. My husband and kids sat down- they ordered sodas, onion rings, and a pizza. They also asked for the NFL game- the table next to them requested the same game. 20 minutes later the sodas got to the table and about 5 minutes later the onion rings hit the table. At that same time the 9 yr old started vomiting. My husband cleaned it all up and the server told him to wait to pay for the bill. I was in the car heading there and wondering what was going on. They had to pay for the sodas and onion rings which weren't even touched. Not a big deal but it's not a dash and dine situation, when a kid vomits at a table. My son got home and said the root beer made him throw up. I as a mom denied that and thought stomach virus. After 1 hour he had pizza and a coke. Nothing. It's now been 10 hours and has not thrown up since. No one tasted my sons drink so I have no clue what it might have been. We won't be going back needless to say read more

I take 5 ladies I work with out to lunch every Friday. Today was our first time & last time to the Trophy Room. We always call in our order a little after 11am since our lunch hour is 11:30 - 12:30 & we have to clock back in by 12:30. Today our order was phoned in at 11:12 & we arrived at the restaurant at 11:45. By 12:10 I told the waiter to box up our food & bring the check because we had to leave in 5 minutes. We did not receive our food until 12:20 & when I checked mine, supposed to be the Grilled Bird sandwich, much to my dismay it was a chicken breast with a slice of pineapple. Needless to say in my many years of dining out for the first time I did not leave even a penny for a tip. I am not going to rate this experience because it doesn't even deserve a portion of a star. Guess it won't let me quit unless I do, not by choice. read more
