I received a voice message from Kim at the front desk on Friday, April 3 stating that they were starting the tear down of the vehicle that day. Then on Monday, April 6 I received another voicemail from Kim stating that they were starting the teardown of the vehicle on Monday so I was a little confused because she told me they were starting on Friday so I called her back and told her I was very disappointed that they stored my car in their garage for the entire week and didn't start working on it all while I had to use a uber every day back and forth to work and spent money out of my pocket while they let my vehicle sit in the garage and never touched it for an entire week. Still don't understand why the parts were not ordered the week that they stored my vehicle. If I knew they weren't going to touch my vehicle until the following week, I could've dropped it off that Friday or the following morning when they started the tear down so I could use for work that week. Instead, I've had to pay for Ubers back-and-forth to work while they kept pushing my dates back. I ended up spending over $700 in Uber payments to get back-and-forth to work while they stored my car for an entire week. I didn't touch it. I decided to eat Ubers because the cheapest Rent-A-Car I could find was $55 per day. The gas prices are cheap so I would've spent more money on a Rent-A-Car. I got a call from Sal stating that they were waiting on parts for the repairs as soon as they get the parts they would work on it as fast as they could. I proceeded to let him know that my birthday was Friday, April 10 and I would like to have my vehicle back. I let them know that if it wasn't ready by Wednesday, they would have to keep it in the garage for seven days because I'm leaving for vacation. I spoke to him on Thursday, April 9 and he told me that it looks like I probably wouldn't get my vehicle back for my birthday because they ordered parts and they hadn't come in yet. Then he proceeds to tell me possibly Monday the 13th the earliest or the latest Tuesday morning on the 14th. I ended up getting my vehicle that Tuesday evening. Why this is so disappointing is because I have experience working as a delivery driver for Worldpac. Worldpac is a distributor of auto parts. We have a local warehouse here in Oxnard, California and anytime auto parts store calls to order parts. We delivered within two hours yet. I kept being told that they were ordering parts and they're taking days and weeks to get them in, which doesn't make sense to me. After I picked up my vehicle, I noticed on the way home that my passenger side mirror wasn't folding when I triggered the alarm and it wasn't working. So I called in and let them know that I would need to bring it back in the following week because I was going on vacation. When I got back on vacation, I took it in at 8:15 AM or Tuesday, April 21 waited about an hour for the repairs. Sal came back out to show me both mirrors. He stated that Tesla sent them the wrong mirror the first time and they didn't have several wires, but the new mirror they sent was correct. And finally, the mirror worked properly. I would have to say that customer service wise they're pretty good and the repairs on the body was done correctly, but I'm disappointed of the time they held my car given the minor damage and for having to bring it back in a second time to fix the mirror. I will never use this place again. This sucks because I could've got the service done at Tesla, but their service was scheduled two weeks out and that's why I chose this body shop because I thought I could get my vehicle a lot sooner and it ended up being 3 1/2 weeks. Should've just went to Tesla and no matter the wait in the future I will always use Tesla service only moving forward.

I had no idea where to take my car on such short notice, but I called them and they told me to bring it in so they could take a look. The next morning Scott called me and explained what needed to be done. I gave them the okay, and my car was ready just a few hours later. I also looked around and got a few quotes from other shops just to see if the price was fair, and Williams Automotive ended up being the best price by far. They also let me know my transmission fluid was really dark, which honestly wasn't surprising since I had never changed it. I came back for that service and an oil change, and once again everything was done quickly and for a really good price. Everyone I've dealt with there has been friendly and helpful. The lady in the office is also super nice, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, I'm really happy with the service, price, turnaround time, and customer service. I usually take my cars to bigger chain shops, but after coming here, I'd much rather keep bringing them to Williams Automotive.

That's how I met Danny, who I later learned is one of the owners along with his cousin Oscar. From the beginning, what stood out was how straightforward and reasonable everything felt. The labor rate was fair, the communication was clear, and instead of pushing one expensive path, Danny took the time to explain different options for replacement parts and what made sense financially. I live in Woodland Hills, and Sharp's is in Oxnard, so this was not exactly around the corner for me. But after that first experience, I felt comfortable enough making the trip because it already felt worth it. After that, I came back with my own 2016 Chevy Volt for an A/C issue. Since that car does not have a traditional belt-driven compressor setup, I knew it was going to take more than generic trial-and-error diagnosis. Danny was patient, methodical, and clearly willing to think through a problem instead of just throwing parts at it. The issue ended up getting solved efficiently, which was a huge relief. One other thing that really stuck with me while I was there: multiple people from the neighborhood stopped by just to say hello to the team at Sharp's. That kind of thing says a lot. As of a few months a go I went to Sergio's Auto Repair to get a transmission looked at for my…read moremother's Van. (And to be fair Sergio seemed to be a bit boggled by the issue I brought him but he still went ahead and did a repair...) Fast forward a few months and the issue still persisted, and the transmission ended up not shifting into other gears, so I ended up taking it to a specialty transmission shop yesterday (03.18.2026). All in all I would recommend this shop but maybe just for simple repairs and nothing too out of the ordinary since they do not specialize in any particular area of autos. *Also, it would've been better if they just said that they dont or wont touch the transmission. Unfortunately the repair that was done here may have ultimately damaged the internals because of lack of knowledge with this vehicle. *On another note, I called the number provided on Yelp (and also what I had saved on my phone) and another "Sergio" answered claiming to be a car wash person and he was confused on how I got "his" number. If they did change the number they should disclose it on Yelp so others wont call the wrong person/ repair shop. (Number I called was 805.483.7901 as it shows on Google and Yelp.) This is not to bash anyone, im simply stating that if a shop is not knowledgable on a particular vehicle they (the shop) can choose to offer the client an alternative shop instead of taking on work they cant fulfill or diagnose correctly. Their prices are fair and honest, and even minor mechanical repairs are completed much faster than what I've experienced at most dealerships. In all these years, I only had to bring my car back once, and it turned out the issue was completely unrelated to the original repair. One experience that really stood out happened years ago when my car key broke off in the trunk lock. A mobile locksmith quoted me $250 to remove the broken piece and make a new key. Instead, I took the car to Sergio's. Chava came out with a small tool, removed the broken key in less than five minutes, and had me on my way. He didn't charge me a dime. That kind of honesty, professionalism, and customer service is hard to find these days, which is why I continue to trust Sergio's with my vehicles.

The insurance person and Hub auto looked at the car while I was not present. Unfortunately, neither person shut the hood of the car correctly, and neglected to ensure that the hood was properly latched. I was given the car back prior to getting the side door taken care of and drove around the corner on Rose Ave and the hood flew open and smashed my entire windshield. I was going about 40 mph and on a bit of a curve, and to say it was traumatic was an understatement. I was unable to see and had to try to get the car to the side of the road peeking under a 2-inch opening at the bottom of the windshield. I could not see traffic; I have no idea how I made it to the side of the road. I had just been hit on the left side of my car by a lady who decided she didn't want to wait at the red light as I was going through the green light, and I was so fragile emotionally and physically from injury. The owner of Hub was throwing the insurance guy under the bus and vice versa, no one wanted to take responsibility. It was such a train wreck, I ended up going to the police department and getting the information they needed in my traumatized state, not to mention I was barely able to walk as my leg was injured when the person hit me. I had to fight to get a rental car, and all Hub guy was worried about was his having to pay for the car. I never got a "sorry" "we will take care of you", nothing, just complaining about the rental car. He forgot that I no longer had a vehicle to drive, as the hood was smashed into the windshield. Somehow, he gamed the system and was so proud to tell me how the insurance paid for the rental car. Really? That's all your worried about? How about the person whose life you just about killed? I do not recommend this company to anyone. Do not go to them. They are not trustworthy; they don't care about the customer. Horrible people, horrible company. Shame on you.
