This place should not deliver in Williamsburg. If you live in the area, I would not rely on this place. It had been over an hour when I called about my very simple owner. Guy said, "It's on the way." Classic. 20 minutes later...nothing. I cancelled the order and the guy at Tony's complains to me, "Do you know how far you live?" I would never trust this place to deliver food on time. Do you really want to wait around for over an hour and then not eat anything at all??? Try some of the other better pizza places in the neighborhood. read more

I almost never write reviews...no, scratch that. I never write reviews. But the poor quality of service at Tony's has inspired me to write my first one. Last week I ordered a plain cheese pizza from Tony's: the yardstick by which any good pizza place is measured. When the delivery guy showed up, the box was completely smashed, the cheese was either stuck to the top of the box or oozing off the pie and the bottom of the pizza was completely burned. Even the garlic knots were burned. Can anyone recommend a good pizza place in williamsburg/greenpoint? So far I've had no luck. read more

Its rough because I want to like this place because the food is good. However their delivery service is very poor. I ordered 2 slices 2 chicken parm sandwiches and 2 pinwheels at 4:10pm It was 5pm I did not receive my order yet I called for an ETA. The gentleman told me the dlievery guy already left and should there any minute. He did not come until 5:30pm not only did the delivery take an hour and half I also had a completely cold pizza and the sandwiches were warm at the most. Its a shame that their great tasting food has to be ruined by something as simple as this. read more

I had a terrible experience at Tony's yesterday. I used their online ordering system, and my pizza didn't arrive. a half hour after the stated delivery time, I called the store and they told me that they had never received the order, but they would make the pizza and get it to me in 20 minutes. 40 minutes later, no pizza. I called again and was yelled at by the owner for my expectations of a properly working ordering system. He told me that they had no contact with the online system and that he had no way of turning off the website or getting in touch with the company that had taken my credit card number for this order! He then hung up on me. To add insult to injury, the pizza, when it finally arrived another 10 minutes later (for those keeping track, more than 2 hours after my initial order) the cost was higher by 10% than it stated online, and the order was wrong. read more

I always order out from this place for there colzones. The delivery time is OK. It take them about 45 minutes the most. The prices is good. Drink are also good. Last and most important it that is that its in the middle of everything, so after a good slice or two you can check out the other places around them. read more

I love toppings on pizza. But in a bind, a plain slice is a great filler and perhaps the best measure of a pizzeria. I had a slice today, and it was good. Definitely better than Domino's, Papa John's, or 2 Bros. Was it great? No. Will I come back? Yes, but only because it's right by the Graham stop, on the way to my apartment. My main choice for pizza in the area. The regular slices arent my favorite but their definitely good; very solid. And the sicilian and deep dish slices are amazing! Thats basically what I get almost every time. So freaking good. Boyfriend thinks the garlic knots are the best out of anywhere but their a little too oily for me. Delivery can occasionally be kind of long, but for the most part theyve been very prompt. Only real downside is I wish they'd stay open later. Especially during weekends! read more

Tony's Pizzeria is the worst. I would compare that place to Major World if you know what I mean. What I mean is you pay for a slice and all they do is rip you off. I once liked this Pizzeria. To bad they didn't accept my purchase because I didn't make the credit card minimum. Which is bull because they aren't suppose to have a minimum by law. I will never purchase anything from them again just for the simple fact that I was a regular customer and they didn't accept my debit card because of their minimum. Ordered two beef patties and it came back burnt, the workers do not wear any gloves when touching your food. However their pizzas are good.

"Why the hell would we have cities anyway?" I've heard someone say this. Granted, they may not have been too into electricity, having a job or doing much beyond drinking Four Loko on a curb, but there are others who see the city as a monster. They think they should be isolated in the woods, live in the suburbs or remain in the same small town 'til the next train comes. For me... I've had my day with nature. It's the city that keeps me calm. (However, give me a zero blanket, an MRE, and a pair of Sorrell's, and I'll hit the John Muir trail with you). It's the city that remains there for me though. It keeps me calm. It takes all my neuroses and turns them on their ear with the noises of safety and people. All second only to the gal that gets this message on cities. Brooklyn may be the bubbly little sister to Manhattan but it's a city/state in of itself. When it comes to needs, it's the mighty cities that answer with "just around the corner" that rise to the top. Fun fact: Brooklyn has pizza. And their every day slices are better than most places. Pair a marinara slice with an Italian red ice, a red head and a napkin... and you're set for under $6. If there's ever an example of why we come together, topple sod to live on top of one another, it's a slice at Tony's at two in the afternoon. read more

My friend and I ordered pizza from Tony's today at 3:30, and after 3 phone calls and 1 hour and 45 minutes, the pizza still hadn't arrived. I called one more time and the person who answered the phone explained that the driver got confused, because there are two streets named 'Diamond' in Brooklyn(which BTW is a complete lie). I asked for a discount, but he made up some excuse about how the register tape cannot be changed, but they'll 'take care of me next time'. After a couple minutes going back and forth, the guy on the phone said he'd call the driver and tell him not to come at all. These guys may make good pizza, but they're liars and don't respect their customers. read more

The delivery from this place is the worst I've ever experienced. They have never gotten my order right, never. I just received a delivery from them, it was supposed to be a pizza calzone, two sides of marinara sauce. It was a pizza calzone and two slices of marinara pizza. When I called the restaurant the guy told me I could pay for the slices or send all of the food back, no apology, no offer to send the missing items and take back the mistaken items. So I sent it all back. I'll never order from that place ever again. From now on I'll send my business to Sals Pizzeria one block away (on Graham), to Danny's Pizza (on Bushwick) or to Grandma Rose's (Graham and Meeker) and I recommend that everyone else do the same. read more

Hi guys, so I went here on Monday night and the place was closing up in a half an hour but still open to the public. As they took our order and we got our pizza we quickly found out from the people working we coulnt sit down and eat the pizza. Mind you it's cold outside, so me and my gf decide to stand and eat by the door, when one of the workers propped the door open. Since it's freezing out, we were forced to leave. Pizza was ok but eveything else was pretty shitty in terms of service. I'd like for the staff to treat there consumers better and if the place is open to the public, people should be allowed to sit and eat - it takes two seconds to put a stool upright. I really really hated Tony's when I first got it; all of my friends sword by it. Each time I ordered it (three times), it came late and cold. Fortunately, I gave it one more chance, and HOLY CRAP. This is the pizza place I'm going to miss the most when I leave New York. Not because it's the best (it's not) or even the best in the neighborhood (though it's definitely in contention), but because they're so fucking amazingly consistent. Make no mistake: this is stoner drunk munchie death-pizza, the kind of pizza that you order when you want something to coat your stomach with grease after an afternoon of drinking and hot-tubbing, or when you've spent the week so stressed at work that all you really want is to sit down and clog your arteries. It's not even really classic New York pizza in that their best slices aren't the cheese slices. No, my favorite from Tony's is getting the Tony's Special (a large four topping) with jalapenos, mushrooms, pepperoni, and fresh garlic. THAT is a disgusting, artery-clogging, you're-not-getting-laid-tonight-unless-you've-been-dating-for-a-year pizza. Heartily recommended. read more

First time eating here. I heard it about it many years ago and was never in the right place at the right time until today. Had 3 slices, square,veggie and plain. Thought the veggie was the best of the 3, followed by plain and then the square. Satisfied and will go back again. The other specialty slices looked good as well. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE. It's unhygienic: My boyfriend a disgusting hair in his pizza. When he complained, the counter person tried to deflect blame, suggesting it was his hair--even though the strand was BAKED into the slice. Besides being disgusting, that's flat-out insulting. I've always been a big fan of Carmine's across the street; they're friendly, more delicious and--most importantly--clean. read more

There is a huge divide amongst Graham Ave pizza enthusiasts. There is Carmine's directly across the street from Tony's. If you want a full dinner and some wine, and you don't want to make the trip to somewhere with an atmosphere for time or convenience purposes, go to Carmine's. The food is good and the wine is cheap. If you are a Met's fan - stay out of Carmine's, you might get slaughtered in there. BUT TONY'S IS THE BEST - if you are just grabbing a slice or especially for delivery!! Having Carmine's delivered is a joke. You will wait for hours and get half of what you ordered. Tony has my order and my address memorized. I LOVE THESE GUYS. If you aren't a native Brooklynite, you might be put off by their phone etiquette at first, but it will grow on you. If they sound like they are in a hurry, its probably because they are, so know what you want before calling up and playing the "Uh, ummmm" routine, or asking people around you what they want. These guys are efficient and to be efficient they need you to be as well. They always respond to your first order with a "WHAT ELSE??" and if you want something else you say, "Calamari" and then again they will say "WHAT ELSE?" and this will go on until you say that's it. And then they will respond to that with, "ADDRESS?!" and you give em that and before you know it you have been hung up on. But your food will be there quick, the delivery guys are awesome, and you will salivate just from the smell. Tony's! Hands down! read more
