Tony's is a family favorite of ours. We usually get it delivered or for take out and eat in the comfort of our own home. However I recently went to the downtown CF location for lunch with my mother. The over all atmosphere of the place is awesome. Seeing as it just opened not too long ago, it's newly remodeled. You can tell they spent a pretty penny to make it look the way it does. The pizza, as always, was great. Generous topping portions and a nice crunchy crust! The service, however, was extremely lacking. Our server was kind of spacey and came off as such. He stopped back multiple times before our pizza arrived to ask how our fountain drinks were tasting? Then, right before our food was delivered, he came over to our table and said "I'm bored... Did either of you need refills?". We waited a good 30-40 minutes for our food. Mind you, this is around lunch time. Not very many people were in the place at the time. After finally receiving our pizza, we were content for the time being. Up until it came time to pay the bill when of course our server was nowhere to be found. After he finally reappeared, we asked for the bill and a to go bag. He returned with the bill but then took the pizza to the back where he said he would bag it up for us... Which didn't make me or my mother too comfortable. After returning with the pizza and running our card, he returned with the book and told us to have a nice day... And proceeded to forget a pen to fill out the credit card slip. I chalk it up to him probably being new... But still. One of the worst servers I've ever had! Wow classy great looking facility, and awesome Main St. location. Lets' start with the pros.....The Bar......did I mention the Bar, the bar tenders can make a drink...well worth a few rounds! Great for meeting up with friends and family. Plenty of seating. The outdoor lounge is the perfect place to enjoy apps and drinks when weather permits... As for the Food....not so unique or tasty ....they make the dishes sound tempting enough on the menu then you taste them you realize its the same stuff as all the other "chain style" restaurants... typical Sysco pub grub from the freezer fresh to you...I hope its all pre-made from the freezer because it sure tastes like it! I'm sure MGT/Owner would claim its fresh...well then they need some new taste buds...anyone that has had good Calamari knows what it should taste like.... Pizza is good enough....if you think high price equals great taste then this place is for you....otherwise the pizza is average with better then average topping choices. They do delivery and that is a nice service...they even have a high tech online ordering service ....you don't even need to interact with a human to get a slice! It's the kinda place you go with a group and have a good time and forget all about the meal you had by the next day....then you wonder why you went in the first place, oh thats right THE BAR and the facility and location....For all the time money and effort put in this place it should be way better... read more

I came here with some friends that were visiting town. Some people told me that they have a good pizza. The place look nice from outside. But, the services is very slow. The pizza is not great either and the restaurant is a bit expensive for what they serve. read more

Love their pizza and best bread sticks ever!! A little disappointed in our last visit. I think the waitress forgot to put in our pizza order because it took close to an hour and when it did come out it was way under cooked. Was there a few weeks ago and ordered a small sausage with extra cheese pizza. When I picked up the pizza, the pizza was not sliced at all and the sausage was thrown on the pizza. If they had sliced it in squares there would not have been a sausage on every piece, because of the way it was thrown on there and some areas had no sausage. Just started going back to Tony's, the pizza had gotten so bad and a lot of the time it was burnt. Still not the same taste as it was when it was on college hill. Wow, what a disappointment! The place is very nice looking and the food was fine, the service was horrible. A group of 5 went there tonight for a birthday celebration. We arrived at 6:15 and were seated. Then we placed a drink order while we were looking over the menu. We got our drinks and placed our order for a couple pizzas and one sub by 6:30. Our waitress stopped back to refill our drinks around 7:00 and didn't see her again until 7:30 when one of our group got fed up and left. We finally got our pizzas about 7:40, but no sub, which was for the person that left. The waitress said that the sub was almost done. The sub came at 8:15 when we were leaving. Never saw a manager or an apology for taking so long. They had several empty tables and the people next to us were also mad at the sloooooooooow service. WE WON'T BE BACK! read more

This is a great atmosphere - perfect for a family meal out or a professional business meeting. We tend to dine here a few times each month. Every pizza we have tried has been awesome. Would give this 5 stars but I have one complaint. EVERY time we order delivery with salads, they arrive at our home and are a fraction of the size that they are in the restaurant. Really burns us after we have ordered online and waited an hour for the delivery. Fix this and Tony's is 5 star! read more

Very very good pizza. Sometimes it's too loud to enjoy conversation and wait staff can be slow. We've had multiple problems with our bills, but they're quick to correct. But still fun to hang out at, especially the back deck during the summer. That's a blast. read more

I ate here in june 2014 while staying at the black hawk hotel . It was a short walk and i just wandered in. I am glad i did. The service was so fast . I got a custom made salad and it was the best i've ever had.the pizza (i got meat lovers ) was on thin crust (my favorite) and the cheeses were melted perfectly. I also got a Shirley temple, the best i have ever drank. Ice cream is a must it is made near-by and delicious . If your looking for a deal get the ice cream brownie it's homemade ice cream AND a medium sized brownie. Their music is great. Get a circular booth in the darker of the two rooms . Ordered NY style pizza. Not even close! Slathered with pizza sauce even bubbling over the sides and tasted like canned spaghetti sauce. The server (who was very nice) asked how it was and we politely told her we did not care for it and asked for our bill not even wanting to take it home. She agreed that it did not usually look like that. We were presented with the bill. We were never offered to order something different or for a percentage off. Only after my husband inquired did she ask the manager who offered 30% off. We then had to spend another $25 up the street to have lunch. We probably will not be back. Such a shame because it is a beautiful place. Would have been nice if the manager has come over to see that we were satisfied instead of the poor college gal trying to smooth things over. A group of us (10 people) went to Tony's last night and we all were very pleased with the service and food. Our server; Lindsey did an excellent job at ensuring our drinks were never empty and pleasing the entire group. The food was delicious to say the least. Everything came out in 30 minutes or so and was spot on what we ordered. I had the BBQ chicken pizza and asked for it to be cooked a little longer than normal....it was perfect. 1) Loved the margaritas. 2) SLOW SLOW SLOW service. A dinner was brought out for someone who'd ordered when we were being seated as we were into our second round of drinks... like 40 minutes later. OUR order took at least half an hour to be served. This on a Monday night. 3) Poor quality control. a) I ordered what was supposed to be a spinach salad with gorgonzola, apples, and walnuts. The spinach looked like it came from wal-mart, the apples were dry, and the walnuts were... nowhere to be found. b) I ordered half a pound of mussels. I had at least one empty shell. 4) Less than stellar food. The mussels were dry and the sauce they came with was overpoweringly salty and heavy. You could have eaten anything with it. They could call it "The Cream Saffron Sauce Appetizer." Our server was nice and I'm sad because the menu looked so good. read more

WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. TWICE. The first time I went to Tony's was in December of 2014. I was with a party of ten, and there were not enough chairs for all of us. The waitress promised she would get me a chair, but after standing at our table for about 25 minutes while the rest of our party ordered their food, I opted to leave. How does a restaurant not have extra chairs tucked away in the back for such scenarios? The second time I was at Tony's was this past weekend, and our waitress (I don't remember her name, but she had pink tipped hair) was the worst I've ever had. She spilled beer all over my father, and when she came back with a towel, she didn't wipe down the table. Instead she sat the towel down in front of my father and had him clean it up himself. She gave my sister an order sheet to fill out a salad order, and never came to retrieve it. My father's dinner salad was brought out before the appetizers. My order was brought out, with my sister's following approximately 10 minutes later, and my father never received his meal. We continually tried to get her attention, but she ignored us. She also never came to refill drinks or check on our meals. When the bill came, she brought out his order in a to-go box, with no apology. My father spoke to the manager about the atrocious service, and got absolutely nowhere. No apology, not offer of a refund, nothing except an inept, "Oh yeah... Uh... That's pretty bad..." The pizza is not my favorite which, is a disappointment for a pizzeria. The crust is blah and the sauce too sweet. However, one of the main problems in my opinion is the poor service. The waiters are caring and wonderful but, I have gone there a few times and every time they are under staffed and so loud that things get missed. I would view it as a bar, not a pizzeria. read more

Tony's has great pizza. HOWEVER---their service and non-pizza food items are NOT GOOD. I have been there probably 6 times because I remember how good the pizza is, but I am always disappointed by how long the food takes and how poorly managed the staff are. They have a bar side at night, patio and dinning side. It really depends on what time of the day you go. If it's late at night it's more of a bar atmosphere with pizza by the slice. If you are going in the afternoon it's more of a typical restaurant. The pizza is decent and the service is hit or miss. read more

Gave this place another try today, only this time I tried their made to order lunch salad. Basically what you do is pick what type of lettuce you want, add 5 items to it and dressing, and they custom make it for you. MUCH better experience this time around! read more

We ended up at Tony's on accident on Saturday night as Whiskey Road across the street had an hour wait. We loved it--a totally happy accident! We started with the calamari for $12 which came with a generous portion of hand breaded calamari as well as a marinara and garlic sauce. I almost asked them to skip the garlic sauce but I'm glad I didn't as it was delicious! The drink special was a $3 Bloody Mary, which the husband enjoyed. I had a couple of Old Fashioned and they were A+ and a strong pour. We had the house special New York pizza for our main course. The toppings include a homemade sausage. The sauce is especially flavorful. We were seated next to the wood fired pizza oven which was a little warm, but the atmosphere was otherwise good with exposed brick walls, etc. Excellent service. There was quite a wait for the pizza but we were otherwise occupied with the calamari and drinks. We will return for sure. An excellent date night! read more

We got a large New York style pizza to go. We looked at the prices online, which said an 18 inch large one topping was 13.89, it is now 18.43. The girl apologized and said that their prices need to be updated online. The pizza was delicious. It was a tiny bit thicker than the New York pizza we are used to, but even the crust was tasty, and the toppings were very generous. They were very busy on Thursday evening when we picked it up, but it was still ready 10 minutes before the quoted time. The staff was very friendly, attentive & helpful. As far as pizza joints, Tonys was excellent. I called ahead and asked about bringing about 40 people. They got us all in the same area and the staff handled all orders and billing beautifully while remaining cheerful and helpful. Would have loved to sit at the bar for a few beers but we with a bunch of kids. Maybe next time. I did try two other pizza places that were less than enthusiastic about a big group dropping in. read more
