    Warm Goat Cheese

Trip down memory lane in a visit to our hometown! The atmosphere and decor were great. The food wonderful. We had the warm goat cheese and nearly licked the plate! The knowledge that Taco pizza was coming stopped us from the embarrassment. The pizza was also great. The staff, however, was the best. We were greated warmly and shown to a great table. Star was definitely the "star" of the show! She was attentive and kept us posted on delays. Her humor had us laughing and added to our experience. Thank you Star!!

I was recommended to visit Tony's La Pizza in Cedar Falls, downtown in the historic district. I started with Italian Nachos, which were fantastic. The Tony's special was decent but not impressive. The service was decent, and the ambiance was good for conversation. There are no issues with the restrooms cleanliness.

Thin crust 16 inch pep and sausage pizza. The pizza was good but would skip the sausage if we visit this place again. We had the moz sticks for an app - would pass on the three sauces and just get the typical marinara. The garlic ranch is no bueno and and the ranch is ranch. You get 4 sticks for $9....if you get there for happy hour they are $4. They are good. Service - it can be spotting. We had several people walk past and not even acknowledge our table including three servers cleaning tables. Once acknowledged they were fine...it's that first intro that was key.

It is a pizza place, salad, appetizers and sandwiches, no pasta on the menu! Little surprised because I was craving meatballs but the Amy's Special pizza was delicious and the beet salad was amazing!!

One of the best pizzas in town. Sandwiches are great, along with staff. They deliver and fast. Great value for your buck.

The BEC Sandy had plenty of egg on it and was tasty. Portions were decent but not huge. The restaurant is long and narrow so it doesn't have a lot of out of the way places. It was also brightly lit. Coffee was good and they had a good selection of premium coffee drinks as well. Service was friendly and our server checked in on us appropriately and filled coffee as needed. All in all a really nice breakfast option different from the usual.

But, turn the corner into the diner proper and you know this is going to be some good food. It's bright and airy inside with fun decorations on the walls. We ordered the Korean Chicken Sandwich (a total favorite of the Cedar Falls native) and the single smashed burger. Thumbs up to the Korean Chicken. The smash burger was OK. The fries were delicious. The iced tea was also delicious. I know that is weird to praise, but it was. The only downside to this experience is that we ordered the potstickers as an appetizer and never got them. I would return. (Apparently, breakfast and brunch is a thing here.)

The French toast is amazing and I love french toast, I had some with my omelet. The omelet is a thinner version. Cooked on a flat top, folded and filled beautifully with all the goodies I requested. It was delicious! I ate far more of both the omelet AND the french toast! Yummmm. My partner had the sampler (top left on the menu). The server said you had to try it. It had eggs, meat, a side of French toast, AND a 1/4 biscuit with gravy! We took a bite of the sausage with a bite of the biscuit and gravy which was perfect! Back in the day, Greenhouse definitely did something different with their chicken. If my memory serves me correctly, they used to have seasoned, cubed chicken pieces, but it seems they have moved to a watery, shredded chicken instead. The other ingredients seemed to be the same, fresh items, but the new chicken was a big disappointment for me. The food here used to consistently hit 9+ out of 10 for me, but during my last visit it was more in the 6-7 range. Giving this spot a 4/5 rating since I'm hoping my last stop in was a fluke. The steak was a little dry, but other than that, it was a great meal. I got the Buffalo salad but added steak instead of chicken. The dressing wasn't fresh or homemade-tasting, so that was a bummer. It was a $15 salad, so for the price and convenience, I would come back again. The girl at the counter was welcoming, and since it was my first time, she explained how the menu worked.
