We had a wonderful time celebrating my mom's 70th surprise party at Tony's Pizzeria last night! The food was delicious, the portions generous, and the staff made us feel so welcome. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and they went out of their way to make the night special. Highly recommend for both great food and a great atmosphere! Everyone that came LOVED it!!

A moderately plus surprise in Farmingdale where we enjoyed pizza on a Friday nite. Not overly crowded, so conversation was heralded. Maria, our server, was gracious. The dining room was nicely decorated for the season. The pizzeria sits back on Main St, so you might miss it. Google it. Unlimited refills on fountain drinks. Outdoor dining when weather is suitable.

Super friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price. They also allow you to BYOW (wine) which I have started to really enjoy doing more of lately. Our orders ranged from the mussels to the pizza and some pasta dishes. All came out relatively quickly and were better than average. Good option if you're in the mood for a smaller, more familial restaurant.

This was our 2nd time here. The first time was nice, and we enjoyed the food and service. We are looking for a "go to" place that wasn't too far away and we were hoping this might be the one even though it is a distance from us. So, our dinners were good, and the waitress was very very nice. But my wife asked for a little extra sauce which they supplied in a small container. When I received the bill, I was shocked to see that they charged us eight bucks for that wee bit of sauce. You can see the item on our bill listed as 8 OZ. Now, I've never in my entire life been charged for a little extra sauce. Never. So, I get it. They are cheap and charged us. In fact, they should have said to us flat out that it would be an extra charge. Whatever. However, the container is a four-ounce container. It even said it on the bottom. I was charged for eight ounces. I complained and management would not remove the charge. So, I finally demanded the remaining four ounces be given to us. After waiting several minutes, it became obvious that they had no intention of rushing to make things at least somewhat fair. We left, never to return again. It's one thing to have a problem with the food. Maybe a wrong order once in a while. But to flat out lie and cheat a customer is nothing short of insulting. And I'm not cheap. The prices here are generally higher than other places but I don't care as long as it's a good meal with good service. And I usually tip REALLY well. But to be so petty as to lie??? I obviously cannot trust a liar. And I cannot endorse a restaurant that cheats its customers and then doubles down on the lie.

Personal pan with mushrooms. Soo dry. Where is the cheese?

So disappointed in the pizza. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked good. I couldn't decide large pie and bring some home or personal smaller pie. Big mistake I got the personal pan with mushrooms Hardly any cheese or sauce. Could have been worse pizza I ever ate. i brought 2 slices home but will throw out. inedible! I had asked for 2 slices of pepperoni pizza to bring home to daughter's boyfriend. After seeing and tasting the pizza, I stopped by a local pizzeria by my home. So glad I did!

    BBQ pulled pork and pineapple

Came here for lunch with a friend. I enjoyed a sausage, green pepper and onion slice of pizza, my friend enjoyed the BBQ pulled pork with pineapple. We also enjoyed the garlic knots. The man at the counter explained the numerous options that were presently available. I would eat here often if I were local. Delicious!

Tony's is a nice local Italian restaurant specializing in pizza although you can get a lot of different Italian food there. Their pizza is very good. I'd call it traditional pizza as opposed to thin crust or "gourmet" pizzas. Last night we decided on ordering take out and pizza wasn't on the agenda. We got an antipasto to split and I got a large meatball Parmesan sub. The antipasto was good but I think they should have included some dressing with it on the side, like balsamic. The meatball sub was very good and would certainly order it again. Tony's told us that the order would take 45 minutes to be delivered but it took a half hour longer. Being a Saturday night I suppose that's to be expected. I will not hesitate to return and have done so for years.

We started with and order of Mussels Fra Diavolo (spicy) to share and they were terrific - meaty, tasty with plenty to share. Drinks consisted of Red Sangria, Drop Top IPA, Canyon Road Merlot, J Lohr Cab and Kane Port Omna. They have a good beer selection and wines are okay. Their Special menu for St Patrick's Day is quite nice. My wife went for Fish and Chips, and we also ordered two Corned Beef Reubens and a 14oz Ribeye. All were really good along with some hot, crispy fries. We chose to share a dessert (because we could) and the Grannies Hot Apple Cobbler was perfect. Our server, Jason, couldn't have been nicer. He was attentive and quick to handle any requests that we had. The place is tastefully decorated with nice lighting and appropriate posters.

The location is a little further than we would normally travel, but it was worth it. I loved all the farm to table foods they have. They even nicely promote all the partners they use right on the wall of the restaurant, so you know where all your food comes from. Everyone loved their meals! I had the Thai chicken sandwich and it was so flavorful and delicious. It came with a side and I picked baked sweet potato wedges that were really good and so memorable that a week later I am still thinking about them. Other dishes ordered were the chicken salad and strawberry salad which my friends both enjoyed. Our server was very good and didn't rush us as we were just chatting up a storm. The restaurant suggests reservations which are a good idea, especially for dinner. I will definitely be back and can't wait to put Harvest on my restaurant rotation. Here you will find a quaint pizzeria on the outskirts of Farmingdale…read more Brand: 4/5 Geo's Pizza is a simple pizzeria in Farmingdale next to JB's Diner. It would appear unassuming on the outside, however you would be surprised if you stepped inside and described a cozy interior filled with many Italian memorabilia upon the walls, including other places like Montana and Guatemala. The interior definitely had the Italian pizzeria aesthetic, which works with its warm, brown walls and the table cloths that contrasted in color with them. Website: 4/5 It was pretty basic in design, since it makes use of the Milkshake app. Instead of scrolling on a desktop or laptop, it functions more on a phone, while also retaining universal functionality. You get an introduction to their menu items and quick access to ordering forms, which did not need multiple buttons. Ambiance: 5/5 While no music played, the distant sounds of the traffic provided an unusually calm ambiance. The whooshing of the vehicles frequently proliferate on the highway, but only from a distance that would not make their noises intrusive. It does not get noisy despite having short space. The tables were well-spaced and had enough room to accommodate two people. Service: 5/5 Only the owners work in this establishment and make sure that you are accommodated. Wait Time: 5/5 We waited for our orders without delay or issues of any kind. Food: 5/5 I ordered the medium-sized Stromboli without additional fillings. I will say that bread held its form without the cheese melting through. The cheese also coagulated quickly and gave it a stringy, cheese stretch. The warm, buttery surface of the bread complements cheese with its warm texture, and the tomato sauce with its spiciness. The Stromboli had a little grease, but not enough to completely saturate my fingers. Worth The Money?: 3/5 Despite having so little, I can see how Geo's Pizza would make the most of it. In the case of menu items, I do not expect a large menu. They managed to put emphasis on their website on their most popular dishes, which definitely helps them. I will say that the Taco Pizza they offered looked delicious as their signature dish. Although I chose Stromboli because I endeavored to eat more Italian food beyond pizza, I could see how Taco Pizza could set Geo's Pizza apart. The simple website fits the simple restaurant. I will say that using a Milkshake app would help any restaurant or a food truck just starting out, however Geo's Pizza has been around for years now and they would benefit from updating to a more detailed website. Location is an important advertiser in itself, because its exterior can easily bring people in from a highway. The unassuming appearance of Geo's Pizza betrays its vibrant interior. If any slow days occur, the owners tend to make use of that time by working on the maintenance of the establishment. I can see how successful they were, since the establishment appears clean and well-kept. The minimalist soundscape also helped ease me into the wait time as I wrote without interruptions. While some things did work for this establishment, and while the wait time was appropriate for the preparation of the Stromboli, ultimately I did think that a plain cheese Stromboli with the tomato sauce did cost too high. This would be the part where I make suggestions, however I do not have any strong suggestions in mind; however, I am curious as to how Geo's Pizza would work if it had more employees and smaller menu items. Rating: 4/5 Stars I did think that Geo's Pizza was a pleasant-enough experience. Recommend To... Anyone interested in Italian culture looking for a quaint pizzeria interior.
