I was actually heading to another spot in the same complex for lunch one day while in Plano on a work trip. But this caught my eye, and was open, so I popped in. Generally, I avoid places that try two or more different regional cuisines, such as Salvadoran Chinese, or Vietnamese Indian. In this case, it was actually pretty decent. I was encouraged to just pick a spot to sit, and brought water. After perusing the menu, the server came by and took my order. I got the soup of the day, which was an egg drop, and then ordered the sambal lamb. The soup was brought out quickly, and was tasty. More tasty was the lamb. Lots of great umami flavors, very savory. Hit the spot. For lunch at least, pretty good spot to pop in for a reasonably priced meal. read more

I went to Inchins bamboo garden and ordered the wet and dry Manchuria. The food was solid. The dry Manchuria had a good flavor profile but was really dry. I know it said dry in the name but they should've explained it would be as dry as sand and sell water along with the Manchuria. Furthermore it was extremely oily and i felt clogs in my arteries eating the Manchuria. The wet Manchuria I liked a lot. It was very soft and shared a similar flavor profile to the dry Manchuria but was way better texturally. I put it in rice and ate it and would recommend to eat it the same way. Serving sizes to go are shockingly small. Never seen such a small amount of lo mein in an order.

It was our anniversary and we wanted to go somewhere with a good ambience, great food and some fun options. We've been here before, and love their veggie options for starters especially the crispy baby corn, Momos ( we had the sechuan one) and the hot and sour soup came with the lunch menu option. The main course was the gold coin Manchurian which was tasty and the gold coin had a great bite to them, and the veg fried rice was a great complement to it. I ordered the Red Curry bowl, but was underwhelmed in terms of the flavor profile as it was a little too subtle. Other than that the place always delivers. read more

AVOID AT ALL COST:The worst Indo-Chinese I have ever had. We were celebrating Diwali and decided to order Chili paneer, Gobi Manchurian, and Schezwan Fried Rice. All the food taste generic and bland. The schezwan fried rice is brown in color and taste like absolutely nothing. The breading is 90% of the chili paneer and there's barely any paneer underneath. Horrible Food, would suggest everyone to avoid it at all costs. The food tastes nothing like the name suggests and the quantity for the price they charge is so off. The chilli paneer is deep fried paneer pakoras literally , they have such thick breading on them and the gobi manchurian doesn't taste like manchurian at all. I have tried some other branch in Virginia and thought of giving this place a try for Diwali , but I completely regret my decision. I have been to Inchin's at another location and was so excited to bring my wife here. I wanted her to experience the wonderful cuisine I'd had previously. We made a date night out of it and I told her to be ready for a great experience. It was a complete fail. The location in Plano is nothing like the other one I went to. The decor is dated and the space just feels like a large open area similar to what you'd see at one of those Asian buffets. So much so, that when we walked in I had to tell my wife "Don't worry. The food is excellent!" When we were seated, they filled our glasses with water and we browsed the menu. 5 minutes later a woman comes by and says (and I quote) "What food do you want?" To which I replied "We would like to actually order some drinks first. We haven't done that yet." When my wife ordered iced tea, she replied with "I don't think we have that." So my wife said she was fine with water, and 2 mins later she comes back saying "I asked and we do have iced tea." Very weird. The food we ordered was noticeably unlike the quality I had at the other Inchin's. It just feels like they are cutting corners with their dishes here. I had read previous reviews that states the cuisine was declining and prices were being hiked and I think they're spot on. When the bill arrived, I noticed that EVERY SINGLE ITEM we ordered was $1 more expensive than what was listed on the menu. Literally every item had $1 added to it. When I asked the server, she said "Sorry, we have not updated our menus yet." Not updated your menus!?! The menu is a double-sided 8.5x11 sheet of paper. You can get these printed inside of 30 minutes and Kinko's down the street. And adding $1 to EVERY item? Who's decision was that? So the Mongolian beef's price goes from $18 to $19 (a 5.5% price increase) but the small veggie Tom Yum soup goes from $5 to $6 (a 20% spike)?!? It's not a good look. Bottom line, I think this place has "let itself go". That's the best way to put it. I was quasi embarrassed for making this the spot for a date night with my wife. We won't be back and so hope they turn it around. I won't be around to find out, but unfortunately I think they're happy where they are. Then, instead of apologizing, there was a guy - Sathish, who was extremely rude, trying to find ways to put it on us. Anyways, after convincing him about his mistake by showing him our order details, he made something for us which totally ruined our party. The chiili garlic noodles had no chilli or garlic. The spring rolls were fine, but there was no sauce along with it. The munchurian had too much salt and hakka noodles veggies were uncooked in some cases. **Vegetarian Friendly** Great indian-chinese fusion restaurant. The paneer tacos were very satisfying - but the portion was small for the price. The chinese bhel is a massive quantity for the price. The chocolate spring rolls weren't anything special to rave about but they were a great end to my meal. Also, they just serve your dish by holding the bowl with bare hands, not in trays like every other restaurant in the world, lol. Flavor: This is the first restaurant in the world where fried rice means just rice, there were hardly any veggies in there. The food here is very mediocre. The masala soda was bland and didn't have any luck to It. The monos was small with bland fillings. The fried rice and Schezwan sauce was really bland! Well 4 star is quite high but 3 stars will be completely unfair. We got Veg Basil Fried Rice and Crispy Chicken Chili Honey delivered and the price tag of $30 before, taxes, delivery fee and tips seemed a bit steep but the food had flavor and the portions were generous. So why not full 4 stars? Most items on the menu are indicated as "Very Spicy". From my experience with their restaurant in Atlanta the Very Spicy dishes were really very spicy. The two things we ordered were marked Spicy and while the Basil Fried Rice was spicy but not extreme the chicken on the other had was sweet. The only heat it had was its temperature and the few pieces of green chilly. The menu also has some traditional Indian dishes that seem completely out of place. read more

Manchurian gets 5-star, however, other items should get zero star as they were, yes they were, store bought and heated up at the restaurant. At the store it would have costed me $5.99 for all the three Indian items while I ended up paying $24.00. You decide if it is a fair deal - they heated up store bought items and served at 400% profit. read more

Great Atmosphere, good service and awesome food!! Went for lunch about a week from opening as they advertised as an Indian-Chinese place, and they were right on target. The restaurant is well laid out and looks classy. Ordered the lunch special and it comes with soup, spring roll, entree with rice. I had the Paneer Manchurian and my friend had Chicken Schezwan. Both dishes were very tasty and the quantity was just perfect for lunch. The soup and spring roll were served before the entree and was quite good too. Went by this place this past weekend and found long lines outside this restaurant, so they must be doing something right. Just hope they don't let the quality slip, as most restaurants do. read more
