Technician came to my house to diagnosis the problem on my dishwasher and charged $100 deposit. Then they ghosted me and wouldn't answer my phone calls or texts. Finally a few days later he came with the wrong part and said he had to order another one and would be back in three days. They ghosted me again and I had to call a new appliance repairman to come out. read more

I got to say I am very happy that I found this company. 2 technician from Top appliances came to check my build In double oven. It was not working and Art and Sam came to check it out and found the problem. It was very professional and very friendly and obviously they need it 2 technician to pull out this heave unit, but they did it carefully replace the party and put it back together carefully. I dislike writing reviews with one star but I'm very disppointed with Sam and the lack of service. For close to a month (August 20 to Sept 13) he led use to believe that the manufacturer did not have the part to a gas stove that need a valve replaced. There are many parts company.... and he couldn't for an entire month find a part. I called over 30 appliance repairers and not one person had a problem finding the part. But Sam not only could not find the part but for a month never called. I had to call weekly asking for an eta on service in which at times my text would go unanswered or conversation would be unless even stating that the parts guy had not responded to his inquiry. The only reason I wanted to go with Sam was because he was one of the few whom I engaged on the phone and who was able to break down the cost and explain what work needed to be done without having to come out and perform a diagnostic. Most other handy man want to throw out a quote and see what sticks with little justification. You can't take Sam at his word Let alone trust in his follow through. You can look through my review to see who I used for appliance work but certainly not these folks. read more

Never return calls or follow up, someone came out to diagnose the issue, took a week and several calls following up on if they got the part I needed or not, technician came out the second time and was supposed to have the part but did not and did not realize I was the customer they saw before, finally gave up calling them for another appointment and booked another company. read more

Sam came out on time and had the required circuit board on his truck. He fixed my $12,000 48" built in refrigerator in 30 minutes for a great price. He even repaired my garage refrigerator (discovered a fan that was jammed from a screw), added a screw and had it working like new...total bonus. I definitely recommend Sam! read more

These guys weee the great the first two times I used them on my washer machine. However this time not so good. They came out fast and thought they found the issue and replaced the parts and did a maintenance cleaning on it. After they left I used the dryer and a horrible loud screaming noice came from my dryer. They came back and replaced some other parts and told me if that did not work it was the motor. So I went and used it and there was a small screeching noice but nothing major. Then it just stopped in the middle of the cycle (never did that before). I called and called and called and they finally called back to tell me they would check on the motor and order it... then NOTHING!! So I ended up paying for a still broken dryer plus I just got a new one new dryer. read more

I booked an appointment on a Friday morning for a Saturday 3 hour window. It's really hard to search for and find reliable, customer centric businesses. What they need to understand is that the customer is #1. I'm fortunate not to have been a customer of Infix Appliances Repair. The one star in this review is not for Infix Appliances Repair, but instead for Yelp keeping the customer #1, and giving us a platform to voice our concerns. So here are some of mine: 1. What is the purpose of a customer calling you to schedule an appointment? 2. Why do you send a confirmation of our appointment? 3. When you don't show up or call to let your customer know how should we react? 4. When you say you will charge a $50 service fee, maybe we should get paid when you waste three hours of my life. I wasted my Saturday waiting on you, but I'm glad I'll be giving my money to someone else. read more

The bottom line is that an repair company specializing in repairing appliances should repair appliances in order to charge their fee. When they do not repair appliances they should not expect to be paid. Infix claimed to have repaired my oven in December 2018. I paid them immediately by credit card following the work on the oven. Then I used the oven after they left and it did not work. Infix then came out to my house a further half dozen times to continue to try and repair the oven over a three month period. During this time, both my wife and I took PTO time to be available to let technicians into our home. On two occasions the technician did not show up at all, did not keep us updated, and did not re-schedule with us until prompted by us. Then eventually, the technician gave up on the repair on March 11th, apologized, and directed us to seek a refund by contacting their office via the advertised contact e-mail address. I did this the next day, and then followed up two weeks later after no response. Then two weeks after that ended up having to contest the charge. Infix disputed my claim on the basis that they had rendered services.... even though that service solely constituted of failing half a dozen times to repair my oven. I then contacted another technician with rival company, Mr Appliance who 1) confirmed that Infix had not repaired the oven. 2) Through skilled diagnosis identified the actual fault with the oven. 3) Fixed the oven. It took 2 days for Mr Appliance to source and install the part needed to carry out the repair. So after waiting for months and months with Infix, the actual time needed was just a matter of two days. (EDIT FOLLOWING A PHONE CALL FROM INFIX) I should not have had to have spent the amount of time that I did in order to resolve the variety of issues that emerged from using infix. Ultimately, they read this review and called me up to give their side and to apologize. It seems as if the tech had a miscommunication with the company and the tech did not intend to for my charge dispute to have been contested. I appreciate the call and I give Infix one more star out of five (2/5) for finally showing some customer service... ...but regardless of whoever is responsible at Infix for the errors, it was me (the customer) that had to devote so much of my time, effort, and money to resolving them with the credit card company. They did not do what they should have done and they did not respond to my e-mails. read more

What an amazing service. I have used them twice and have had the same Technician - Art. I called - told them the issue each time - they asked if I was able to get them the model number once for my refrigerator and the other for my microwave. Each time - they were quick in getting a replacement part ready if they needed it. They set up an appointment - to come out and review the situation. Each time - they were able to solve the problem and replace the broken part with the one they prepped with. Pricing for the part and services are reasonable. Great company to use. Would leave zero stars if this website allowed me. Our cooler part of the fridge was not working and we hired these guys to come fix it. Sam charged us $200 to replace the thermostat and guaranteed 1 year for it. Well a few days later, the fridge is still not working. We kept calling Sam about 10 times or more since you can understand how important a fridge is to a household. He keeps saying he's coming back but never showed up. It has been almost a month now (he issued a receipt on 3/30) and we have to keep dealing with this issue. Then he started to tell us other parts of the fridge may need to be replaced. How is that possible?? This is a fairly new fridge, so how is it possible that it needs so much repair. More likely he didn't properly diagnose the problem at first and charged us $200 anyway. He never showed up to see what's wrong but when we got them on the phone, they tried to find another angle to charge us more claiming it is a new problem. We went with this company because of their great reviews but utterly disappointed by this experience. Forget their guarantee since that clearly doesn't mean anything to this company. This was maybe one of the most frustrating experiences I had with a service provider. Not only they made me and my wife waste our time, but also $100s worth in food that had to be trashed since it took the technician 3 visits, on 3 different days, to fix the issue. After the technician came on day 1 and gave his assessment, apparently it was a major repair and needed the part. I called on day 2 around 8am to schedule the visit for day 2. I was confirmed to have the technician coming from 2-4pm on day 2, so my wife left work early to be home. Then, somehow, my wife received a call from Infix saying that our service visit, which was confirmed twice, had to be rescheduled to the following day. There was no explanation, just a total disregard of other people's time and impossibility to honor the confirmation we had. After several calls, I was able to convince Infix management to send the technician on day 2, thus time around 7pm. After the technician was ready to perform the major repair, he realized that such repair was not needed. According to what he explained, after I questioned him, he could have figured out the real source of the issue on day one, but he was too quick to jump into conclusions before performing a standard check to determine what was wrong with my fridge. At the end, it was the main fan, and of course he did not have the part with him. So we had to move to day 3. Finally, on day 3, my fridge was fixed. After all the frustration, time lost at work, and $100's worth of food wasted, I was ready to move on. Never received a receipt for the part. Initially I was told the part was about $75, but ended up being around $150, not including labor. Not sure if I paid for an overpriced part, who knows. At least received a $50 for all the pain and suffering. Anyway, I learned the hard way not to trust this service provider. read more

My dishwasher broke before a Friendsgiving event this year, and I knew If I did not get it fixed asap, everything would be a wreck after the event. Art responded to the call extremely fast and was able make it out in the next day. ***Please note that this is an edited review. I called InFix Appliances due to their awesome reviews here on Yelp. I called because my old school Roper dryer would not turn on yesterday morning. I requested Sam since he is mentioned by name in the positive reviews, however I assume he was unavailable and another technician, Kevin, was sent out. The company employees are friendly, accomodating and prompt and worked me im the same day. Ultimately my dryer timer was replaced. Later that evening, I researched prices for that part online and initially became upset by the lower costs I was seeing there. In my initial review, I mentioned feeling overcharged and called the company today for an explanation. To their credit, Sam promptly called me back to discuss the issue. He explained the difference between the parts I saw online versus the Sears model they installed. He also offered a modest credit to ensure my trust. As a new homeowner who has already had some pretty rough home repair experiences, I will admit I was guarded and jaded. I am still no expert, but I do feel better that this company does value its customers and stand by their word. I appreciate the efforts made to address my concern. read more

I was in need of a good appliance company for my four door Samsung. After trying a few companies who tried to knock my head off with their ridiculous prices I was fortunate to run into Top Appliances Repair. Sam was the technician who showed up and I was glad it was him. He quickly diagnosed the problem which I already knew because of the previous companies that had came out. However, Sam was patient and able to answer all my questions he even went to the extent of explaining the reason it had failed. I was Impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He presented a couple of options but explained that the more economical approach was more likely to fail sooner, which made sense, since only a labor would be rendered. In the end we replaced an air tower assembly to address my freezing up issue. I purposely waited two months for the completion of this review I can honestly say that my fridge is working great. Called them around 11 and was promised an appointment between 3-5. Wasted my time by sitting around at the house waiting for these guys. I tried calling, leaving a voice mail, even texting and I just got a text back "can't talk right now." You're busy, it's a Saturday and that's cool and all but what I don't appreciate is being left in the dark. Just be honest with me and say "I can't have a guy out there today, we're booked." The difference in any business is customer service, it seemed like the guy I had scheduled with was all about it but the repairman never came by. When the tech didn't arrive by the stated time, I called and was told the tech had car trouble. The person I spoke to said he would call the tech to see if he could make it, and if not, he would see if another tech could come out and he would call me right back. I scheduled an appointment online and Elijah very promptly followed up to hear more about the issue and to confirm an exact time of service. He called prior to his visit in order to give a heads up that he was on the way. The refrigerator had been repaired before by another service company and he discovered that they did not repair it properly. He was able to repair it successfully and guaranteed the work via a 6 month warranty that can be utilized by calling him directly. Dealing with broken appliances is never fun, but I am glad to know that I have peace of mind regarding this refrigerator. read more

We had a washing machine that suddenly gave an error code. We decided to use them because of the good rating on Yelp. I was so wrong! The tech came out and After spending less than 30 minutes without even opening up the washing machine determined that the control board was dead and to fix it, it would cost almost $500. So we decided not to do the repair and instead purchased a new one for $587 for a similar model. After a few weeks, I decided to open up the washing machine to see what happened, after a few hours looking into it my washing machine is working again. Wasted $50 dollars for those incompetent to come out and troubleshoot! Will not use them again! read more

The downside is that it took more than 2 trips to fix the machine since parts needed to be ordered/received, but overall I'm satisfied with the service since both my machines are up and running. I would not recommend this company. Our Samsung dryer wasn't heating so we called Infix for service. After performing a 15 minute diagnostic for $60, the technician said we needed the heating element replaced. The invoice he gave me said it would cost $219 for the part and $145 for the labor. This seemed very high to me so I asked the technician if he was sure the part costs that much. He replied that it was. I asked him how long it would take him to replace it and he said in about an hour. I looked up the cost of a heating element on Amazon at it was $19!!!! I received the part in one day and looked up a youtube video which demonstrated how to install the part. It took me an hour to an hour and a half to install it myself. They wanted to charge me $334 for something that cost me $19 to install myself. I know they need to make a profit, but marking up a $19 part by $200 is extreme and bordering on unethical. It makes me wonder how many people have been overcharged for parts. Furthermore, I have no problem with paying a good price to have work done, but is paying a appliance repairman $145 for what would have take him 30-45 minutes commensurate with his education in skill? (If it took me 1 to 1.5 hours fumbling through a youtube video to complete the repairs, I'm assuming they could do it in half the time because that's what they do everyday. Needless to say I was very disappointed in this company and felt like they attempted to rip me off. I will not be using them again. read more

They offered us a discount for a five star review so that's what we initially gave them. However, the repair they performed didn't fix the issue with our refrigerator. That is understandable, but they immediately decided that they needed to replace the entire compressor, without doing any additional testing or diagnosis. Not wanting to spend that much and opting to replace instead, we asked for a refund since the work they performed didn't help at all. They offered to refund the labor charge ($100), which we thought was fair. However, they never sent the refund check they promised. I called multiple times, and each time it was either "we'll send it right away" or "it's in the mail". Months later, still no check, leading me to believe their plan all along was to delay sending the check until we gave up. If you read a positive review for this company be skeptical, since they probably paid for it. And in our experience after an initially positive first impression it's been nothing but trouble to get the repair done correctly and then to get the refund they owe us. Avoid this company!
