They've alway been upfront & honest which I respect but this year 2026 it's like a change happened in cool with mechanics not liking me but not putting me off for weeks for one part then tellin me they have it & it only takes 10 mins to do but literally won't do it. Will put you behind bigger repairs that's cost more money which I also understand but if it only takes 10 minutes what's the problem. This part shuts my car down & I've been waiting over a month. Roje was very helpful from the time I called for a quote up to the moment I picked my car up from the shop. This family owned business is very honest with you from start to finish. And their prices are hard to beat. Very affordable and great quality work. I was able to bring the parts that I purchased from an auto store and all they charged me here was for labor and a break flush. Dropped my car off around 8am and got it back by 3pm. I made an appointment over a month ago to have my wheels aligned 2 days ago at Pep Boys on Decatur. I was given an estimate of a little more than $100. I left my car at the designated time and was told it would be about an hour to an hour and a half to finish. An hour and forty five minutes later I returned and was told the link stabilizer had come loose on the front passenger side and it would be $300 to order the link kit for both sides and repair it plus the alignment plus repair an oil leak. I still don't know why they didn't call me. All totaled it was estimated at $600. I told the to order the part and just do the link repair. It was all I could afford. I was told the part would be there in an hour or so and I would be called to bring the car back for the repair. I was never called. The next day I took my car to try he Pep Boys on Jones. I told them what happened and they called the Decatur store and was told I declined the repair. I told the Jones store to order the link kit for the side that needed repair and they said I would need to leave my car all day. I told them to order the kit and call me when it arrived. I was given an estimate of about $300 for the repair and wheel alignment. I'm still waiting for the call. Today I took my car to an independent mechanic shop that was recommended by a friend. Top Car Service on Nellis. One of the brothers that owned the shop looked under the car, jacked it up, replaced the locking nut that had come loose and competed the repair. It took about 20 minutes. I asked him what I owed him and he told me not to worry about it. I have a new mechanic I'll be going to for all of my car repairs now. You do the math. read more

From simple things like oil changes to more serious work, he has been spot on when troubleshooting issues and completely eliminating them. I have found my new favorite mechanic in town! After having issues with my engine light being on for over two years, Roje, the owner of Top Car, found out it was simply a broken wire tripping the O2 and Knock sensors. I took this vehicle to two different dealerships, both who replaced O2 sensors, as well as three other mechanics. I got the smog waived last year after spending so much to try to get it fixed, and thought that this year we would have to get rid of it. Roje not only solved the mystery of the broken wire, but worked on it after closing, out gas in it, drove it for sixty miles, and got it smogged for us. No idea how this place has so many good reviews. My Range Rover has been at this shop for 5 weeks today. He couldn't figure out what the issue was because it had numerous codes showing. Understandable. Didn't update me on his progress throughout the 5 weeks and never answered the phone. Apparently my key fob stopped working and instead of getting it fixed while he was working on the other issues he waited until he was completed to have someone come fix the key. According to him car was finished Saturday but since he hasn't been able to take it for a test drive who knows if it's actually fixed. Key specialist was supposed to come Monday. He never called to update. Called several times Tuesday, person at front desk said she'll have him call, he never did. Called today, Wednesday, they told us it'll be finished tomorrow. Are you kidding me? Why not have this fixed before hand instead of waiting until after!!! I've been renting a car for these past 5 weeks wasting even more money than the 1k I'll be spending on the fix. I took it to a European car shop and they said the issue was entirely different than the one top car says it is so I will update on the fix and the time it's actually completed. I am hoping he fixed the correct issue so it wasn't a waste of 5+ weeks. read more
