So, I get to come back to my home town 1-2x a year and this is one of my must stops!!! I mean I crave these donuts all year long. Where ever I go when I am not here this is what all the other donuts get compared to. I have been coming here since 1989! I mean I was just a kid and now being an adult this is still the place I want to come to. Service like always is amazing and I mean they still remember you even when you have been gone for so long, it just makes me feel at home! It is a small 'mom and pop' shop with some seating inside. If you are coming for one of my favs the buttermilk donuts just remember to get there early on Saturday before they sell out!!

WOW!!! I found this place through TikTok and it was worth the drive. May, the owner is soooo sweet. She knows all of her regulars by name and all new comers are treated like old friends. I've never had a warm apple fritter before and WOW, that was a game changer. Also the twists that are hot and pillowy and sweet are divine. The chocolate donuts are all delicious and fantastic as well. Her husband is the master baker behind the scenes and she's a pure ray of sunshine working the counter. I'll definitely be back!

Top Donuts is always the best. It's our favorite place to go for tasty donuts, and we love May the owner. It's a local "best of".

My co-worker brought in these donuts for our team last week, and they made my day! These are some of the best donuts I have ever tasted.

I see some real potential in Dessert Lounge! The type of Asian influenced snacks they often such as…read morethe mochi donut and Korean corn dog are typically found closer to the bay. It's a bit niche. Hopefully Watsonville likes them! Walking in I thought they were still in their soft opening stage which looks like it was about a year ago. The interior is a little bare aside from 2-3 kiosks, some seating, and the selfie wall. The rest of the walls are blank white. The kitchen area is completely covered by a grey curtain. With a little polishing I think it'd lot cuter. We weren't greeted by anyone. The only time we saw an employee was when they popped out from the kitchen to give us our items. We ordered the lychee guava fruit tea regular sweetness, the taro coconut mochi donut, and two scoops of ice cream in a cone. Ordering was quite easy to use the kiosks. They were very intuitive. They show which items are out of stock. The kiosk is payment by card. They have an option for paying in cash up in the front near the kitchen. The ice cream was good. Generous scoops. Not much to say about ice cream. The lychee guava tea was tasty and refreshing but very sweet. Next time I'd choose less sweet. The mochi donut was very warm/fresh. Good flavor. I've never had a mochi donut before. It was like a chewy donut. The color of the donut was golden. It did not taste like grease. The taro coconut topping was a little messy/melty. Overall it's a unique dessert place. If I'm in the area again I'd like to try a Korean corn dog or see if they have the bubble waffle ice cream cone in stock.

It was so much to read and the cashier was ready to take our order. She was patient and didn't rush us but it gave me zero time to really look at the menu. It was early so I wanted a breakfast sandwich or burrito. I opted for a sausage burrito after receiving the recommendation from the cashier. She also showed me the seasonal coffee offerings that she didn't show to my sister who ordered ahead of me and she was bummed because she would of preferred to get one of those drinks instead of the latte she got. I opted for the toasted coconut coffee. I paid and quickly browsed the baked goods that I could see someone starting to put up on display. The rice crispy looked delicious so we got one to share. We took a seat in the seating area. There were plenty of tables and plenty of people coming and going. Seems to be the spot for all the workers within walking distance. Our coffee orders came out a while later. The latte was your standard coffee and oat milk. The toasted coconut was a sweet blend of coffee and coconut foam. The top had toasted coconut shavings and once that mix with the coffee it's gives it's a different texture while drinking it. It was too sweet for my liking. The burritos came out after and they were piping hot. Took a while for the burrito to cool down so I ended up cutting it in half. I like that they had the grill marks on the tortilla because it gave it a nice crunch. The burrito was paired with a salsa that was not spicy and gave the entire burrito some flavor. The burrito itself is very mild in flavor. The potato's didn't taste like they had any seasoning. The sausage didn't either. The salsa helped but it wasn't very flavorful. It was a good portion because I only ate half and was full. The rice krispy treat was good and not very sweet so we took 2 more to go. The cashier was helpful and patient during my interaction with her. The space has plenty of places to sit with a group. Plenty of baked goods options. I took a photo of the menu for future visits so I can know ahead of time what I want because it was very overwhelming being next in line and pick whatever. I saw a pesto sandwich that I would have preferred getting after I sat down and read the menu. Would have been helpful to have the seasonal coffee menu in a more visible area. Water is self serve in an area where you can get straws and napkins. Ensuring it's stocked with knives and forks etc would be helpful. The coffee and food did take a while to come out so plan accordingly if you are not sitting down. Curious to return to try something else now that I read the menu.
