It's expensive but you're paying for the experience and I'd say it's worth it once in a while. I saw 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple here, kind of a weird choice for a movie theatre where you eat dinner- it was pretty gnarly. The good: -couches/comfy seating -actual food -friendly staff -neat atmosphere The less good but not necessarily bad: -having to wait to be brought to the theatre by a host -much more expensive than a regular movie theatre -no cherry coke (but they do offer a Roy Rodgers) -the popcorn is REALLY buttery which is cool if you're into that but I was overwhelmed by the sogginess

One thing that is neither positive nor negative is the sound in the theater, while it is very clear it is also extremely loud. I am not typically someone with sensitive hearing but if you are on either far side of the theater please prep like you're going to be right in front of speakers at a large concert (I have started to bring ear buds with noise cancelling due to the ear/head pain from sitting nearer to the walls). The positives: great film quality, comfortable seating, easy to purchase tickets. The cons: pricey menu that I have yet to feel is worth the price poin for the quality of food you recieve (also specials are rushed through before sitting), cleanliness of seating has been 50/50, parking availability can be difficult, each time we have gone food timing feels disruptive to the film. The last film we saw (Scream 7) food was still being delivered to people with 20 minutes left of the film.

Gotta say…read moreour bartender was pretty checked out, slow to walk over to take our order even though we were the only ones at the bar. Stoned or just unclear about his customer-facing job description? Who knows. Anyhoo, Decent menu, with burgers, salads, sandos and pizzas (small). You have to order away from the bar, weirdly, then pick up and bring your food into the theatre. Unwieldy. It's a bit spendy for what you get food-wise, though that seems to be the case everywhere these days. I like this place but haven't been in years so am happy to reconnect. Comfy seating in the theatre but screens are a bit dated. I will say the sound was pretty good. A decent movie-going experience with good enough food and drinks. Parking can be a bitch in this neighborhood though, with the new rules.

The bartender who took our order didn't write it down as he was taking it, which always makes me wonder if they will remember it correctly. He didn't. Carelessness. The bartender asked us which auditorium and our seat number and we were told that it would be delivered to our seats. Still no food an hour and 15 minutes into the movie so my partner went to check on it. He was told that they couldn't find us, which makes no sense unless the bartender entered the seats wrong. The cost was refunded but no dinner for us. Other than that the auditorium and seats are pretty nice but not better than any other theater. I doubt that I'll go back.

I recently attended the premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 with my partner, and unfortunately, our…read moreexperience fell well below expectations. From the start, the theater's air conditioning was not working, making the environment uncomfortably hot and leading to multiple moments of physical discomfort. We were later informed by an employee that the HVAC system has been down and there is no clear timeline for repair, which was disappointing to hear...especially since this was not communicated to guests ahead of time. In addition, the audio had major issues during the first half of the film, and the movie had to be paused midway to address the problem. While we understand that technical difficulties can happen, the way the situation was handled added to our frustration. When we spoke with the manager, Danielle, her response came across as defensive and dismissive of our experience. This was particularly frustrating given that she had a box fan positioned on the counter directly facing her, while guests in the theater were left dealing with the heat. It made the situation feel minimized rather than acknowledged. We do appreciate that refunds were provided, but customer service is just as important as compensation. A more empathetic and proactive approach would have made a significant difference in how this situation was received. We hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve both facility conditions and customer service moving forward

The movie started in time and everyone seemed nice. I wonder why they haven't switched to a model where you can order food and drinks from your seats? This was a good experience.

The cashier was really sweet. She was rebooking a lot people for the next day or two later. But, she was able to get us in for the 10:20 showing while we went to grab a bite to eat. Got a small bag of popcorn and raisin nets for $12.00. Things have definitely changed he wasn't too happy but, he knows I gotta have it (lol). Seats were spacious and very comfortable reclining chairs (w/ foot rest). It had a few compartments for your snacks and drinks on either side. I like the fact that it's several rolls of seats but, not too many of you get my drift. We were directly in middle but, to the right. I felt we were to close until the previews stared and it was just right. A lot of people did have to move because they were seating in other people seats and, it was completely sold out. It has plenty of parking with very clean restrooms on both sides. I would highly recommend this Cinemark we are planning to go again we want to see Scream 7.

This last visit had one person doing concessions and checking people out yet she was doing it better than I have experienced at theaters with a lot of people working. Also, having someone actually layer the butter and be mindful. It is nice. Their seats are great and have useable cup holders and stretch out plus the way the screens are angled so you are not dislocating you neck trying to see the screen. I highly recommend getting their monthly deal because it pays for itself immediately. You get one movie credit for the $11.99 and a movie is over $13 plus you save % on all concessions. I get a $3 off concessions coupons by earning points all the time and you can reserve seats without paying extra! And if you do not use you free movie credit for that month it rolls over so it is such a great deal! There are quite a few movies I have noticed that they show later in the evening also and I am much more likely to go to later movies.

I was recently invited to attend a live music performance at the Mission Theater…read more McMenamins is of course known for converting historic buildings into venues and restaurants, and this location is no different. It used to be the Swedish Evangelical Mission Covenant Church. There's some cool millwork, antique light fixtures, and large curved staircases, but overall this is on the tamer side for McMenamins properties. The venue had standing room and high-tops on the same level as the stage. Upstairs is theater style seating that was decently comfortable and had a counter spot to put your drink. There weren't any bad views, and the sound system was better than I expected. I think there are two bars, one on each floor, but the upstairs one was closed for the small event I attended. They serve drinks and small bites, not full meals. Parking is challenging nearby.

The doors opened up and hour before and we were able to get a seat in the balcony on the first row. The venue was small so every seat was great.
