He explained that he wanted to hook it up and diagnosed it but he was so knowledgeable about cars that he was spot on and it didn't cost some absurd amount that I was quoted by one of the big companies. I truly appreciate not price gouging the public just because it's summertime. I honestly felt that the owner cares about the people he serves and has integrity. They nickel and dime the insurance company. Replaced a tire that had a "bulge" in it. From damage of a small deer that dented the fender. The work was very good, but not enough to cost the $950 I had to spend on the extra weeks they had the car. So in all, waving half the $1,000 deductible and paying the extra $950 for the rental. The exchange cost me $1,450. Such a deal.

He took the car into his shop to fix it and had it a bit over a week -- it did take a bit of time but this is okay with me (and probably you as well) if he fixes it right
