I'll be back anytime we return to Seattle!

The price was also pretty high for a 12 oz latte. The customer service was disappointing. The young woman who helped me came across as rude and seemed like she didn't want to be there. That's especially unfortunate for a business located in the middle of a major tourist area. As for the drink, I'm not sure how a hot latte ends up being served cold, but it definitely shouldn't happen. I also sampled the tiramisu gelato, which was overly sweet and didn't taste very authentic. Overall, I regret spending the time, money, and calories here. There are too many great coffee shops in Seattle to settle for an experience like this.

I felt that the flavors of both cookies were good, and I enjoyed the added crunch of the topping sugar and light spice in the habanero chocolate chip cookie. However both cookies felt fairly dry, with the ice cream doing little to help. The Molly Moon's ice cream flavors were pretty good, but generally this is just not my favorite ice cream in the city. The service was good, nothing much to touch on for that topic.

This place puts a new spin on what you expect from a doughnut shop. Not saying these doughnuts are good for you but they just seem more hethy than Krispy Kreme. Their seldction of doughnuts is fantastic with all your favorites like the old fashion, maple bar and classic glazed. But what really sets this shop apart from the other is the fact they they serve top notch coffee. Baristas that serve doughnuts, that's what I'm talking about. And if you feel like just coming in and killing some time, there are more old classic books lining the walls than you would find at most libraries. Great for reading yourself to sleep after the doughnut sugar rush. read more

The main area has open space concept and very spacious and features coffee bean bags by the pound as soon as you walk into the entrance. Features a charming room with tables and bookshelves which wrapped around and from floor to ceiling. It really cozy's up the place. Nicely curated items for purchase in-store. Limited parking space but plenty of public transportation options all within walking distance to the donuts shop. Went here after seeing Top Pot in a national magazine and I have say these are well worth the trip. My only complaint is that they should give out bibs with their powdered doughnuts, my tie needed to be changed as soon as i git to the office. thank goodness I wasn't wearing black. read more

A bargain, right? Well, a donut at the end of a day is still a donut at the end of the day, especially when sitting in a booth in warm temperatures. We chose one French toast donut and one chocolate raspberry. Even though we waited to eat them so it can be in room temperature instead of 'warm' temperature, the texture is a sturdy mush. Perhaps refrigerating them would have firm them up a bit. The chocolate raspberry is incredibly sweet; I tossed the rest of this donut after a couple of small bites. Hubby finished the French toast. Lesson learned, won't take advantage of this 'deal' ever again.

However, despite being on crutches, I ventured out with The Homie late this afternoon for our first visit (2/24/26). This new retail spot is located at the street level of a residential complex. The commercial kitchen remains at their Burien site. Look for the helpful sidewalk placards and located diagonally westward from the Greenwood Fred Meyer. The business is also adjacent to a law office, nail salon/spa, and glass businesses by 3rd Ave NW and NW 85th St. Once we walked in, we received pleasant greetings from the onsite staff and wow such an awesome display case with an assortment of fresh, enticing cookies! There is also a freezer case containing Lopez Island Creamery ice cream pints. Next to that was a refrigerated case containing cakes by the slice or whole. There is also a variety of branded merch available for purchase...cookie bites, hoodies, and totes. I appreciated all the clear identifiers and respective prices for all of their featured products. The Homie selected two of the Reese's peanut butter cookies and one Birthday cookie. I did the same with one birthday cookie, but also tried a pecan brittle cookie, and a strawberry chip. As what I've come to enjoy from Lowrider's cookies - fresh, moist, and chockful of flavorful ingredients. Their cookies are balanced regarding chew, texture, and sweetness.
