Sam gave me the most wonderful pedicure, Made me feel so good and then helped to her chair for a gel nails, which I just loved, loved again she made me feel so special and the color I chose, was the same color Sam was wearing, a pretty light purple. Before about a year sgo, I had never gotten my nails done. I got my first set done at Madison and Kenneth, and they chipped in a week. I went back in, and they gave me a fill (yes, instead of just fixing them) and of course, another week later, my nails were in bad shape. I refused to go back. I had decided that nails must not be for me and abandoned the idea. Then my friend introduced me to Top Star Nails. I have had gel polish put on that lasted three weeks here! And after I told them about my bad experience, they convinced me to go ahead and try another set of nails...so I did. And i am so glad. I have had my nails done by every girl at this shop, except maybe the newest one. I have found that I really love Lisa, and make an appointment with her every time...but that doesn't mean that the others are bad. Lisa just has a style that I like. All of the girls are very nice. Their prices are fair and they have always done a goo job. My nails last me 3 to 4 weeks, and I get them filled when they are too long for me, not because they are falling off. All of the girls make it a point to have a conversation with me, and remember me by first name. They treat you right if you treat them right...just like anywhere else. I don't know how this place has so many stars. I went in for a simple little basic manicure and she walks over with a paraffin wax and hot stone massage. It was very nice, but I didn't ask for it. I just wanted Halloween color on my nails. She did a good job, but 2 days later I had chips on at least half, not just wearing, but big chips of color gone. When I went in to see if I could get them to touch it up, she asked if they were my real nails, yes, real nails chip 2-3 days. And said no. I've been to other places and they are more than happy to do it. That's just good customer service. As close as this place is, I will never go here again. read more

Wow am I dissapointed. I used to have Hana do my nails there. She was awesome! She wasn't there anymore. So I let my natural nails rest for a few months. I decided I was ready to get nails done. I go in. I get the the First Lady on the right. I assume she is the manager. Anyway, what a lousy job! She got glue everywhere, left acrylic on the underside, they're lifting already. I just recently discovered this place. My friends birthday was coming up so I figured I could treat her and myself to a nice basic Manicure. What I like about this place is that they offer paraffin wax and hot stone massage along with it. I made an appointment. We go in and they had us sit in totally different areas. I was like I made an appointment, the lady said "I know but everyone busy. She help her on other side." I was disappointed. What's the point of making an appointment if you can't be seated together? On top of that they kept saying "Why do regular manicure when you can do gel manicure. It better and last longer" I was like I know but I wasn't about to spend $50 bucks for two people to get gel manicure. My massage didn't even last long. She put my hands in the wax for less then a minute each then took the stone and some lotion and one minute later she was done with the massage! I was like wtf?!? The stone and the wax were a big reason of why I even went there. The person next to me had started getting massaged before me and continued getting massaged after me. read more

Rude customer service, got a full set and the nails started lifting the next day. No one in the salon can do even the simplest design. I went there because they were close to my house and less expensive then surrounding salons, I soon found out that I wasted my money. They also refused to fix my nails after I went back unsatisfied. So I've been coming here for bout 3months. Been getting my regular acrylic fill every 3weeks. My nail tech who hasn't told me her name and I request her every time anyway, suggests to get the gel full set over my real nails that's took me 3 months to grow out.so we do that and I was happy when I left. Its been maybe four days and I've noticed that most of all my nails are lumpy and not all shaped the same, I'm very dissatisfied with them. One of my nails has already split. For 25Dollars for a full set with the gel I don't think I'll be getting it again. I'm fine with acrylic of fiber glass... I like the shape more And my.nail won't bend.n.split. I will be going back because I like the way my nails are done when done with acrylic or fiber glass. I just know to stick with what I normally get. read more

My friends made appointment for the 3 of us to get pedicures 3/31..we walk in salon is full but our chairs are open..we are excited waited all week for these pedicures! The staff was rude..our water was cold!! When we asked for hot water, employee rudely pulled switch a d emptied my tub, then came back & said there was NO MORE HOT WATER!! As we looked around the room we just noticed that every other client was white!! They wanted us to leave so they treated us so disrespectfully!! My friend goes there all the time by herself! It was easy to make an appointment and get in, and they do nice work, but I do have a couple of complaints: 1) They don't give you the option as to whether they cut or push your cuticles. They just grab the scissors and go to town. (Ow!) 2) I had a gorgeous shade of dark red that I wanted as a base with white tips, but instead of giving me what I wanted the lady doing my nails walked away and came back with a brighter color. It was a nice color, and they turned out well, but it wasn't what I wanted. "Too dark. Not pretty." While I appreciate professional opinion, the end decision should have been mine. read more

First time back here in three years! Due to a move across the valley, I had to stop coming here and go somewhere closer to home. It's good to be back! Lisa did my nails and did an AWESOME job! I asked for pink and whites, full set, oval shaped and boy did she deliver! I had previously called another nail salon and when I explained I like oval shaped nails, they suggested I go somewhere else! Well my goodness!! I came in here for an eyebrow wax. It didn't seem like they were busy so I was seen right away, which was good because I was on my lunch break. Despite not being busy the woman rushed on doing my eyebrows. At the end I was not satisfied with the result. She had missed a lot of hairs which I had to fix when I got home. I should have said something, but I just felt so rushed. She also seemed annoyed that I was paying with card. The sign says $30 for full acrylic sets and they still made us pay $45 when the lady next to us paid $30 for gel acrylic full sets. I love coming here for my pedicures! I always get the #3. I do make an appointment before coming. They get busy and everyone signs in when they arrive, so they go by order unless you have an appointment. At least that is how it has worked for me. They only take cash tip so bring cash for that. They are close to my home so it's also easy to get to! read more

I went here for a pedicure and full set one week ago. Pedicure was nice and still looks great. I got a full-set acrylic French manicure with the white tips. I had to have her take off two of the white tips and re-do them because they were too small for my nail and I'm noticing now that it happened on more than just the two nails. Also, all of my nails are rough and unattached at the bottom of my nail and half my nails are peeling up on the sides already. I paid $37 including tip for my nails and they're coming off and look horrible after ONE WEEK! I might return for a pedicure again or give them a chance with a gel manicure because it's hard to mess those up and it's the closest salon to my house. Went in for a gel manicure March 31st and by April 2nd the gel manicure had peeled off. This morning I called and spoke with the owner and she was very rude and would not offer a gift card or even credit and I paid $27 including tip for my gel manicure. Be for warned if you come to this place they won't reimburse you or even offer you a credit or gift card and will blame you for them not doing your nails correctly. A gel manicure is supposed to last at least 2 week's and this one didn't even last 4 day's. Plus the salon is very dirty and gross. read more

I'm honestly suprised that this place has received so many stars. My bestie took me here for a birthday treat. We made an appt. so we had no wait, and an older lady was great about getting us set up in the pedi chair. My technician came over first and she was pleasant-did try to get me to upgrade to the Level 2 pedi because of my calluses, but I declined and that was fine. My bestie had a male-I think he was the owner-and he was HORRIBLE. Completely unprofessional and rude, as well. After telling my friend that her toenails were too short to cut, he looked at her toes and said "this is very hard." So what if she has some toes that overlap-it's your job to paint them and not insult your customer. He proceeded to sigh his way thorugh painting her toes. When it was time to focus on her hands, he asked her to turn off the massage chair (oh, and by the way, he's holding the hand next to the remote) because it was moving too much for him. (Hhmm...my technician has no problem, and we were getting a clear top coat only for our hands.) Also, he told my BFF that her nails were too short. She told him that she was upset that he wasn't servicing her the way he should-he'd questioned and insulted her, and that was not the way to get repeat business. Then, he argued with her, saying that he didn't say anything about her feet. And as far as the massage chair being off, he had the nerve to say that it wasn't good for the "pregant ladies" because it's too much for the baby. Um, NEVER tell an 8-month pregnant woman that you know her body better than she does. We paid ($32 for a mani-pedi basic, although I think my technician was trying to make up for the owner's rudeness because she gave me a good callus scrub) $64 plus a $2 tip that my friend requested go only to my technician. Less than 5 hours later, both of us had the clear polish peeling of our fingers. Worst nail experience ever! read more

I came in for a regular pedicure and developed a STAPH INFECTION in 3 of my toes! I had to be on hardcore antibiotics! Be very careful! The obviously don't clean the instruments before or after they use them. read more

This place is HORRIBLE!!! I would never recommend it to anyone. Rude nail technicians. Got a simple manicure. They put me under the dryer and after 45 minutes of me sitting there with no one checking on my nails, I checked for myself and they were still wet. So I asked them to fix it and they told me it was my fault because I didn't wash my hands good enough and the wax they put on me ruined my polish?! And that's my fault?! They knowingly put polish over their own wax and said the wax ruined my polish and won't let it dry. After I asked for a refund they threatened me and told me they would have my nails done and dry in 5 minutes OR MY money back, well 5 minutes were up and I asked for my money back. They then started shoving their cameras In my face saying they had pictures of me and threatened to call the police. Needless to say. NEVER GO HERE. Apparently, they will blame YOU for your nails not drying within 45 minutes. read more
