Disappointing, I ordered a 4 taco combo for pick-up and had to wait in a line for 10 minutes before I could pick up lukewarm tacos. The meal was the bare minimum of 4 tacos with no avocado, no onions, no cilantro, and no salsa. I intentionally included these in my order, but everything was ignored. As soon as I held the bag, I felt that it was nearly as light as my wallet. Each taco had fillings as small as a mini street taco. The meat was mostly tender and moist but texture was iffy due to bits of greasy chewy/crunchy/fatty gristle. The flavor was lacking with just a hint of salt. If the garnishes were included, the flavor, texture, and heft would have been a bit better. Normally I do not rate places negatively, but this cost me almost $4 per taco which is the price for higher quality taco places that include good meat and more. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place for basic tacos when there are other options in the area. For example, Buenos Sabores has more flavor, a unique homestyle twist, and more filling at a slightly higher price. Taco Deli has breakfast tacos that are cheaper, filling, interesting ingredient options, and decent salsas (jalapeno, habanero). To me, the ideal taco should be a cheap flavor-bomb. We held a 30+ person party and everyone was very satisfied and full by the end of the party. Jorge was gracious enough to hang around longer due to a random thunderstorm that came in as guests arrived later than expected. BTW, this is not a food truck... it's a brick and mortar location. It was clean and service was good. I had two sirloin tacos on corn. They give you 2 homemade thin white corn tortillas per taco, which I prefer over the one thick yellow corn ones where you might as well be eating a tamale. They had that little bit of a charred flavor that I absolutely love. The sirloin was seasoned nicely (not too salty) and it was tender. My only criticism is they don't put enough meat on the steak taco, but it's probably because beef is so expensive these days. But what it lacked in substance was made up in taste. I'll just get 3 next time vs. 2, and I'll get the hot salsa vs the medium as I didn't find the medium to be even slightly hot... good flavor though. First time visiting this Taco truck outside of work. It must be popular and good due to the long line! It wasn't a bad wait time. Looked like there were 2 working, 1 at counter and 1 preparing orders. I ordered 3 tacos based on a coworkers recommendation. 2 steak, 1 chicken on corn tortilla with avacado. They were out of Topo Chico, so I got a Mexican coke. I paid extra for the avocado but shouldn't have being that their is a yummy complimentary green sauce that is made with avocado. Jorge brought his food truck to feed us at my 50th birthday party. We closed off the cul de sac with the truck and turned the street into a food truck park. It was FANTASTIC! Yes they allow you to not order bowl without tortillas! With chicken, steak and there poblano veggie mix. I did. It see the steak so came back to say it was missing the steak. Top Taco came to my work for the first time this morning. One thing I have learned is to always try the new truck, and this morning I'm glad I did. To start, the gentleman at the window is an absolute sweetheart, very welcoming, very excited about his food, and he provides excellent service. It was fast too! I waited less than five minutes for fresh cooked food. The truck is also very eye catching! Now the food, the tortillas were fantastic, toasted lightly on the griddle, so you get that little crunch right when you bite. I honestly can't recall if they were homemade or not, but they certainly taste like it. They look smallish, but don't let that full you, two were perfect. I am stuffed! I ordered a potato, egg, cheese. The potato was well seasoned, but the whole thing needed a little more kick, or flavor. I added some of the habanero salsa about halfway through the taco. It was good, it had some definite heat. I've read some of the other reviews that it wasn't very hot, this must have been a good batch because it was hot. I think it needed more cheese, because that flavor got lost as well. I will chalk it up to my needing to order something a little less bland than potatoes and eggs. Overall, it was very good, just a little bland. I also ordered a chorizo, egg, cheese and it was amazing! The chorizo had an excellent flavor. The cheese definitely came out more in this taco, though I still think it needed more. Maybe I just like cheese? But this taco was fabulous. All in all with tip I paid $7.50.
