Yyyyaaasss!!! Gotta love Facebook neighbors group to introduce you to awesome eats locally. I was on the hunt for a breakfast taco as I have been craving some for some time. The truck is a beautiful color and it stands out. Easy to find it near the gas station. I wanted to try all of the specialty tacos so I ordered one of everything: migas, ulitimo (sausage, chorizo bacon and egg), brisket, picadillo. I ordered a traditional taco as well (bacon and egg taco). Once you order from the window, they bring your order to your car. You can also call ahead with your ahead. Didn't take long at all to get my tacos. This is very convenient so you don't have to stand outside and can sit in your car jamming out to Harry Styles. The picadillo taco was good. They definitely flavor their meat. Yum! The migas taco was also good. The brisket taco was full of meat and very moist. The ultimo taco was a burst of flavor with all the meats and seasoning. Loved it! While the bacon and egg taco was good...specialty tacos are where it's at!!! Yyyaaasss!! Loved the tacos here and can't wait to try more things. Welcome to the area! read more

HOLY BREAKFAST TACO!! We were golfing at Forrest creek country club near by, and decided we needed some food. Being the yelper I am, I see a food truck with 5 stars in the area with over 100+ reviews. That's a no brainer. We went, and couldn't have been more impressed. At first, the tacos seemed quite pricey, but when you get them and they hand you a taco the size of a small child, you instantly realize why it's $4 a taco. Will forever come back here when I'm in the area! Edit: right after I wrote this review and was already incredibly impressed, Tia (the legend herself) came out and talked with us. I got the loco burrito and I couldn't quite finish it because it was so big but I really wanted to because it was so good. I'll definitely go back to try other items from their menu. Upon walking up to the trailer, we were greeted by the most friendly woman. She was SO helpful when we were trying to figure out what to order. It was a tough choice since everything on the menu looked so dang good. Once we had landed on ordering two burritos - one with chicken and one with pork, both smothered with a red sauce and poblano cream sauce combo - she ensured we were satisfied by asking us if we wanted various salsas on top. It was one of the best experiences I've had as far as service. When we got home to eat our food, I had already decided I liked this place. But, you guys. When I opened my take out box, the smell was AMAZING. You know those times when you wish you had smell-o-vision just so you could fully express how great something smells? This lady is the sweetest, and the breakfast tacos are amazing. They are huge. The red salsa is super fresh, and the creamy green salsa has a little spicy kick. I got bacon/egg/cheese/bean, and it was delicious! She chops up the bacon and mixes everything together so that each bite has some of everything in it, which I love. I think the tortillas are homemade too. Also apparently they have previously just been a breakfast/lunch place, but they are starting to do dinner as well (tonight it's chicken fajitas she told me). These are easily some of my favorite breakfast tacos. I'm not an egg person and most places serve up dry or bland potatoes - not Tia! The tacos were packed to the brim and delicious. It was very easy to call in my to go order. It was a little bit of a drive to get here but we'll worth it. They have three meats to choose from: smoked brisket, smoked pulled pork and smoked chicken. She makes quesadillas, tacos, and enchiladas. And they're made with hand rolled fresh tortillas that are amazing. She offered to put two meats in our quesadilla so we could try more than one. We opted for the pork and chicken on the quesadilla and brisket on a taco. The brisket was by far the best, but the others were delicious as well. The owner was very friendly. She offered to make whatever we wanted, even if it wasn't on her menu. The location is very nice with lots of space, a jungle gym, outdoor games , and port-a-potties that were clean. From the scenery to the food, this place is great. We were greeted warmly as if we were family or family friends. We ordered chicken and beef quesadillas, special ordered beef brisket taco with rice, and chicken enchiladas. The brisket fell apart and was so tender and flavorful as was the chicken. We loved the salsa and chips as well. There was a very small kick in the salsa but not enough for my kids to scream about it and not so little that I felt it was bland. Just perfect for us. I hate leaving a bad review. First off... Tia or whoever was working the truck was a super sweet lady. My mother and I were on our way to Johnson City looking for a place to eat (it's not easy finding one through covid). We were really hungry so we saw the reviews and saw almost five stars for the place. We got there and the lady said I'm busy but go ahead and text your order and gave me a menu. She described the stuff and everything sounded amazing. We were starving. We ordered the burrito loco, chicken quesadilla, and the brisket bowl. We got the order and it looked delicious. Bit into it and there were chicken bones in the food (chicken quesadilla and burrito... one bone I can understand but multiple pinky sized bones is too many). The food was also a bit too salty for our taste. The brisket was cooked well, but zucchini was kind of hard. We didn't think of taking the food back, because we were in a different headspace. I did text her to let her know there were bones in our food and she graciously offered to replace the food, but I do not live down south so the offer is semi pointless. read more

Tia's is hands-down one of my favorite stops in the greater Austin area. I kind of wish her husband would open a second venue just focused on his BBQ. Most importantly the food is consistently delicious and high quality. On top of that the service is supreme. Tia is wonderful, and always serves her customers with a smile. I don't get the hubbub.... it's alright but not life changing. The burritos are a big, so that's a plus, but only average in flavor. I'm more annoyed that the hours of operation are hit and miss, lots of times they are supposed to be open they are not, so have a Plan B in mind. read more

Owned by the cutest couple, Tia and her husband created the most beautiful and delicious smoked brisket Enchiladas, Quesadillas and tacos!
