I have been wanting to try this place out for a while but it's very out of the way and parking is madness there. I decide to call ahead and order our three drinks. The cute carton cups I want the man said something about not having. (I didn't realize it until after that when I asked for a large, the cartons only handle mediums. Miscommunication over the phone, no biggie.) I get my order placed and he says 10-15 min. Ok, heading from Home Depot, perfect timing. I get there jump out of the car bad have my hubby do a circle thinking I just have to pay. Well I get there with two people in line, first customer asking a ton of questions-ok. Second customer- has a 3 drink order, lots of answers needed. I get up to the register, pay for my order, figure out the issue on the carton cups and end up just paying the $7.99 for an empty one. I notice drinks are not ready. Find out they haven't even started to make them and I could sub one drink with the cup. Mind you it has been a good 20 min. Not sure what the point of a phone order is when you expect it to be ready by a certain time. While I waited to get my drinks someone who was picking up an order had theirs ready, the first person got their drinks. Saving grace I guess was that I got my drinks before the guy in front of me and the worker who brought them out yelled loudly enough that it was a phone order so the poor chap didn't think I got mine before his in person order. Clocked this whole experience in at 32 minutes from time of call to receiving the products. Hubby didn't like doing circles in that crazy parking lot. Last night we went back and I brought the re-usable cups. They told us because of covid they don't do that anymore. Which is UNDERSTANDABLE because of covid. I have never seen anything like it and it was just too cute to pass on! My brother and I went down today and luckily there was no line. The place was clean, small and cute! Ordering was easy and the price was okay. Would of wished the containers were a little bigger for the price it came with but it's worth it! I've been here twice already. After a craving for boba on Thanksgiving and not many spots open, we came across Top Tea. I ordered the taro/coconut with boba and my husband ordered taro with pudding. Both were delicious, good smoothie consistency and the star was the boba!! I'm a fan of NON-MUSHY boba and boba that doesn't get stuck in your teeth. After I finished my drink, I couldn't stop thinking about how yummy it was and on Tuesday got a jasmine milk boba. The jasmine tea was delicious!! This may be my new favorite boba joint. read more

I've been meaning to check out this boba spot for months but could never stray out of my routine after work.. It was the reusable milk tea cup that attracted me the most that I was bound to add it to my collection. During this COVID era...they are giving a 10% discount, sweet sweet. However they will not refill your cups if you bring it in the next time which is understandable. I'll just have to pour it in myself when I get back to my vehicle. Staff was really sweet, small area, parking wasn't an issue but I have a feeling once the state starts opening up it will be hard. I couldn't even find street parking which was odd.. Location wasn't hard to find if you park in the lot. Just follow the Top Tea arrow sign above, they are on the street side of Liliha. This place is fantastic. These are the same people who ran Friend cafe till the store was closed because the complex got renovated. It is so good to see them back here. The tea is good, service is prompt and has the same warmth as Friend cafe (well, about as warm as it can be in the covid time). New options are on the menu too (I got an ube milk tea last time that was fantastic), and they do the basics well. We also tried Hana Tea nearby which seems to have a lot of attention, but prefer this much more both for service and taste. For the covid time: you order (phone is ok too) and take out. No seating or waiting inside, the staff is protected by plastic barriers, so it is quite safe for the employees and for the customers. read more

I think me and the guys and gals from work come here at least twice a week. Unfortunately I get the same drink every time. It's located at Liliha Square, around the corner from TimeS Supermarket. Parking is good most of the times. The employees are always nice and very helpful. What I get is the blended taro milk tea 1/2 sweet with boba. The flavor is awesome and the consistency of the drink is always spot on. Not to thick or to thin. The boba tends to be a little chewy and some people don't like that but I do so it is perfect to me. read more

This spot is brand new I had a friend tell me about it. I really just wanted the cup. But location was easy to find near times supermarket in Lilha. It's a nice place to study with a buddy or talk story because it's nice and cool. But the staff here is so nice and helpful they made choosing a drink that much faster. I had the special taro drink and it was super delicious had cheese foam and boba. Also had another strawberry milkshake and it was perfectly blended and you could really taste the strawberry flavor. I pass this place on the way home from Costco once a week and I have never tried. My boyfriend always gets taro smoothies , and I opted to get one the "ube series" drinks. I always try my bf drink. The taro flavor was great, but both drinks were a little on the sweet side. The taro smoothie also looked not blended so welll from the outside of the cup. But when you drank it, wasn't too chunky with ice . The ube black milk tea , DEFINITELY had ube in it. I didn't listen to the girl when she said "shake it well " before sticking the straw in to take a picture... My first sip was a big straw full of ube lol I found a creative way to shake it up after . It was really good. Maybe even a little too much ube for me . There was a lot on the sides of the cup to make the drink look great! I would've liked a little less on the bottom of the drink. One thing about the ube is that is doesn't exactly melt / dissolve in the drink . There ends up being a lot of ube bits at the bottom which I didn't really care for . If there was a way to blend the ube itself smoother, I think I would have appreciated the drink more. I always judge places on the boba itself . The boba was sweet but I could tell it wasn't cooked all the way. You can tell when it's not cooked all the way when you bite a boba and it's still hard / brown color in the middle. It wasn't bad, little under done for my taste. I end up not eating all the boba and just drinking the drink in situations like that . Over all I give the ube black milk tea a 3.9 out of 5 . If I'm near this area again and craving boba I would definitely go back to try something else. read more

Like Forrest Gump's box of chocolate, you never know what you're going to get. Today, I made my third visit to Top Tea. The place is clean, the floor layout a little difficult to navigate to the counter if there are more than 4 people in line, but overall, the service is fast and friendly and the prices are reasonable when compared with other similar places. Based on those qualities alone, I would rate this place 4 stars... BUT, this is about tea/drinks and food, so I'm only giving 3 stars. In all 3 of my visits, I ordered the same drink, same size, same sweetness... Iced TT Oolong milk tea, 50% sweet. All three times they came out different, in terms of sweetness. The first time it was way too sweet. (Mind you, I always order 50% sweet be it Mr. Tea, Taste Tea, or Teapresso and they are always consistent ... taste the same no matter which location or what day I visit) On my second visit last week, the sweetness was just right and to my liking. However, today, it wasn't sweet enough. No matter how sweet your like your milk tea, it shouldn't taste different every time you order it. Also.notable was that their dessert case was totally empty on my visit today at noon today, Friday, and it wasn't because everybody bought it all. The place was totally empty. They do most of their business in the afternoon and evening when work and school is out, but that's still.ni excuse for an empty dessert case. They have a lot of potential and I hope they fix these little issues. I do plan on going visiting again, though. read more

Be aware some of the smoothies have an ice-cream add-in if you are allergic to dairy. The drinks labeled "Top Tea" have a stronger tea flavor. Staff were very nice, gave us information on the different types of drinks to make future ordering easier. We were able to call in an order of 14 drinks for our staff and it was ready for pick up right on time. They use the Stars system so you can rack up points for $5 off a future purchase.
