I had 2 big trees in my yard that had to be removed. I called Top Tree out and they gave me a very reasonable quote and said they could even come out the next day to do the job. They came out on scheduled day, punctual, on time and ready to work. I had a lot of garden figures and pots in my yard and they were kind enough to help me relocate all of it to a safe location and even took extra steps to protect my koi pond with plywood. In the past, other tree guys would just cover it with a tarp. 5 men showed up and within 6 hours took down both trees and grinded the stump. After finishing they did a decent job of cleaning up. Very friendly, worked fast and very reasonable rates. My job was very small -- remove tree trunk (4 ft high and 1 ft dia) and roots but too difficult for me to remove using hand tools. The after the trunk was cut down to the root, a grinder was used to remove the root down about 12 inches below the ground level. He also ground out adjacent roots near the surface. Then the area was cleaned up. All evidence of the tree was gone. read more

George and his crew are excellent. We had some major tree work to be done and they came to our rescue. Within 5 days they cut down and removed the stumps of 5 80 foot trees and planted over 50 trees for us. They also ran sprinkler lines. All work was excellent and they were very cautious during the removal. It was no easy task. They put down plywood to protect our pavers and took steps to protect our house and the neighbors. Other tree services wouldn't do the job but Top Unit stepped up to the plate. They are very clean (cleaned up every day) and left the area cleaner than they found it.
