For a first time golfer, I felt that it was a pleasant and nonjudgmental experience. My family and I went there for an hour in the afternoons and had a blast! My toddler son had an especially fun time. Unfortunately, we came during a time with other guests who made into a "boys' club" drunk escapade. There was a lot of shouting and inappropriate language used around children by the group. I understand that we all need to unwind and have fun. But I wish we weren't so close to them. We mentioned it to the staff and manager, Caleb, and they all handled it beyond my expectations. I felt that they genuinely cared about my experience. Fun for all ages! We LOVE this place! The golfing games are sooo much fun and they serve you food and drinks right at your bay! Even though its outside, there are even heaters all over so it stays cozy. And when you're done golfing, there are complimentary video games, shuffle board and pool. Did my daughter's 13 birthday here, not a bad place for a young group of teenage girls to hang out. Who knew they would love it. The menu is tasty and good for your dollar. Good time, especially if you are not a golfer. The drinks are weak. Variety of food choices but not many options for gluten free eaters. Reservation does not guarantee a bay if they are busy so we opted out of that before heading there, but we luckily did not have to wait long (We are out of state visitors). This seems to be first a Resturant followed by golf range. At 15 min remaining they will interrupt you or your guest during practice/game to have you pay so you miss the last 15 mins so they can turn over the booth ASAP even though no parties came in afterwards. I love the concept of golf like bowling with great food but at the bowling alley they don't cut your game 15 mins short so you can pay. This is just tacky. read more

Topgolf is a wonderful place for business meetings. They have an amazing little menu of delicious foods. Try the Nachos. Yum. It's relaxing, full service and you get a heated couch to sit on while you play golf games. Prompt service with the servers. I've been there 4 times and the service is always right, and the food amazing. read more

Kids and I had a really great time Saturday night, except a couple observations and a complaint. When we walked in, it seemed moderately busy but not overly slammed. We were placed at bay 102, way down the far end on the ground floor, felt due to me and my two girls, 14 and 13, we were placed there out of the way. The orientation was such we had to place ourselves almost directly facing the ball dispenser to gain access to the scoring targets. My youngest daughter continuously banged balls off the box. In looking at it, this was a regular occurrence seeing the amount of scuff marks. We only had drinks, nachos and then donut holes which were all fine. Felt like the server was a little aggressive in asking for food orders, and more so pushing added time to play golf. In retrospect I know now why! Here it is, the complaint. When the bill came the total was $140.00. Yes, I was aware that adding time was something like $25 for 30 minutes and we were there well over 90 minutes. The issue is this. Without really thinking about it, I tipped out on the total, I think I tipped $25. In reality I should have tipped only on the food and drink which was about $40. Our server was tipped out at 60%! I don't fully blame the server, but management needs to address this nonsense. Separating totals and letting the customer know is not just proper but needs to be mandatory. If I was in the industry of serving at a restaurant, you bet my tail I'd want to work here too! I'm guessing servers walk out every night with tons of cash in their pocket...unacceptable...oh, and a $5.00 membership for each us is shady... read more

Ridiculous. If i could give 0 stars, I would. Apparently I'm banned from Top Golf for 90 days for allegedly "punching" someone. I do not recall of any incident like that! I tried to contact the manager about this on the phone but they said they couldn't reach the manager. Also, I had my money drained from my member card but luckily I caught the "mistake" and had to go and argue my case at customer service. Embarrassed myself trying to get MY OWN money back. Thieves and liars is all I can say. Since they have gone mainstream, they really stopped caring for their customers it seems. Best place to relax, socialize, have fun, eat, drink, etc all in one place with other amenities such as free pool, and wii. What more can anyone ask for, they've got everything. Three stars for good food and atmosphere, however service leaves a lot to be desired. Even if you sit at the bar, you're going to be waiting 5 minutes before even being acknowledged unfortunately. If you get a putting bay, the service seems to be the same - you will be left waiting, waiting and waiting for your host. I understand being busy, but in my mind it's better to have unanimously happy customers than to overload each host with way too much to provide quality service. Not to mention you can see almost every single server completely stressing out and about to snap. I feel bad. But if I'm going to spend good money and tip the staff, I think me and my family deserve quality service. I hope things get better. read more

After a good 30 minutes we flagged down Eduardo, which ended up being the best choice we made. I have NEVER had a server so happy to be a server. Topgolf - New American Near Me - Hillsboro, Oregon

2 experiences in one week (Sunday and Tuesday.) I responded to a survey after Sunday and gave you all 10's - great service and a server that was "always available and proactive." On Tuesday it was the exact opposite. First, I brought 4 friends who had never been and needed membership cards. 4 employees standing at the check-in and 1 employee at the "new membership" area. 2 new guests were being helped at the new member hip by the 1 employee. After 15 minutes I asked at the check-in area if one of them could come over and help out at the membership desk - remember there were 4 employees with no one to wait on. I was told that they couldn't help because they didn't have a till and would need to wait for the 1 employee to finish with the 2 new guests. After another 10 minutes (we are now up to 25 minutes waiting time) my 4 friends were helped. Getting the bay set up with the screen is a challenge - has been each of the 4 times I've been and still can't make it work right and have to go find someone to help. Our server was good and helpful - the people who clean up are not. We had to go find someone to clear off the dishes and then they only took half of the dishes. I asked for a napkin (we were short one set) and it never came. I ended up using one from my friend. We noticed that when we needed help we had to look for someone and often found a few employees together chatting it up - twice had to interrupt them to ask for help. In closing - you have a wonderful concept, great food, and friendly employees. 1. You need to fix the technology so it is user friendly and still captures the information you need. 2.You need to evaluate your staffing levels - how many do you need and where do you need them. 3.You need to cross train people so they can perform more than one job depending on the flow and volume of business. 4.You need to train all the employees to be proactive and pay attention to their guests and anticipate what they need. 5.You need to train your employees to follow through on requests from their guests. Right now this place gets 4 solid stars - from the atmosphere to the food and the drinks. EDDIE WAS FREAKING AWESOME !!! Otherwise though, the food was great, the games were simple yet can be competitive depending on experience, def an excellent place for groups otherwise split between 2-3 people isn't bad considering game time and such. Everything is so new and the set up is impressive. The holes are much larger than they seem when you're there so pretty much anyone including kids should have an easy time playing. It starts out at $22.50 a half hour and you can hit unlimited balls. I didn't get to check out the games inside, all I saw at first glance was foosball. Went here on a Wednesday night a d was surprised at how popular it was. We expected it to be busy since it is new. The setting is actually really spectacular. We were lucky enough to be on the 3rd floor so the views were even better. We ended up playing 2 rounds of the traditional topgolf between 4 people. One has never golfed before and even she had a blast. This is something for all skill levels. The wait staff was quick with orders and refills and very friendly. The TV in the bay was a nice addition. The bay and hitting areas were also heated and covered (it was in the 40s) and comfortable. I would recommend it especially if the weather is keeping you from outdoors! read more

To start off, I was with 4 friends and at the beginning we had a great 30 minutes when Ashley was our server. We've all experienced top golf before and she was very personable and took our order, made sure we were taken care of but her shift ended so we closed our tab with her. She mentioned the next server was Micah and we had over an hour left on our bay. Once we paid for our tab at 4:10 we did not get any service for over an hour. He didn't help us but he was able to help the bays around us. There was a reserved party next to us and the server was EXTREMELY attentive to them, took their order, brought out their drinks, passed our bay, saw our empty water glasses, empty beer glasses and tended to the other bay on the other side of us. We just wanted beer and water so i went to the bar, asked the bartender for 2 pitchers and she said we'd need to order it from our bay server... so she said she would let him know that we want to place an order. Eventually around 20 minutes after i went to the bartender our server stopped at our table and we asked for waters and 1 pitcher, 10 minutes later we got our waters but not the beer. 10 minutes after that our server said that they had to change the tap. By then our game only had about 10 minutes left so we asked if we could cancel the beer. He did so and never returned to the party. The party I was with was without service for over an hour and a half. We spoke to the manager and he offered us an extra hour, but we declined the hour. Someone did stop by our bay to tell us we had an extended 15 minutes, but when the original time ran out it did not give us an extra 15 minutes. It is very unfortunate that we had poor service at this top golf. We traveled from Hawaii to enjoy an experience that we don't have on the islands, but was returned with horrible service. read more
